Since events tend to suck up time and thought like some sort of internet blackhole, this thread is just a fun little solo dump to let other players know what their character's will find on Christmas morning, and maybe a little background on the gifts as well. So feel free to post any such solos or snippets in this thread.
Note: All hunters and trainees are given at least one full personal day in the human world for holiday shopping. Trainees are also given a passport ID, a debit card (trainee balance is equal to months awake x $450 USD,) and the knowledge that since it's a lot easier to fake a death than have a person completely disappear, they're all legally dead.

Peyton had been at a bit of a loss when it had come to gift giving this year. It had never been a challenge before. Coming up for the ideas for gifts had been easy, even fun. She'd always enjoyed the process of wrapping and delivering presents to their intended owners, either handing them off in person so she could watch their faces as they opened them, or finding way to sneak a colorfully wrapped box into a room, or onto a work station.
This year wasn't like that. This year came with a renewed wave of grief and mourning that had formed a cloud over the holidays and made them, at best, bitter sweet. Still, she tried.

Astrid would find a small box on her nightstand with polar bear wrapping paper. Inside in a bracelet(or an anklet) with a thin chain, and small, gold charms. The charms themselves are the constellations Ursa major and minor, along with a few dangling stars.
On the tag was written a short note.

Most of Andy's gift was given in person. The box was wrapped in green paper and inside was a black hoodie with a graphic of a green pirate ship on the back that read 'Neverland Travel', and a tiny bottle of glitter with a hand written label of 'Pixie dust' tapped along the outside.
Later, when he went to try the hoodie on, he'd find a folded note in the inside pocket.
I still don't know why you want me, and I still don't think I deserve you, but you're a bright spot in what has been a dark year, and I don't know how I can ever repay that.

Zeke had never really been the gift giving sort, but something about Deus, the people he had made connections with on the island, was slowly changing him into a person that actually sort of gave a damn.

Ever's was a gift the Mist wanted to give in person, rather than simply leaving it in Ever's room for him to find when he returned. In the end he had compromised. A part of the gift had been left in a box on the Life's bed. A short length of heavy chain with two clips at either end, brushed steal. Along with them was a note in Zeke's usual handwriting.
This is only a small part. If you want the rest(and I assure you, you do), you'll come find me at your earliest convenience.
Not seeing his partner in crime didn't mean he didn't think about her often. Paige would find an envelope taped to her door, as well as a small wrapped gift on the floor in front of it. In the box was a small locket with aStained glass face.
The card was short and simple.
Where ever you've been, know you're important, and that people are thinking of you and miss you.

Gretchen had been looking forward to this for a few months now. Christmas had always been one of her favorite holidays. Cozy sweaters, carols, long walks in the snow, and, of course, presents! She loved picking things out for the people in her life she cared for, and regardless of income, had always gone about her Christmas shopping as if money wasn't an option.

Gretch would make her move when the Sun was out for the day, training. On his bedside, a mason jar of paper stars. Like every other star the man had found in the past, these two contained messages. Some were sweet; reminders to smile, confessions of how much he meant to her, compliments, endearments. Some were less sweet; naughty little secrets and desires. Things she wanted to do to him or be done to her.
There was also a folding knife with a mother of pearl handle.

Two boxes would turn up on Chels' porch on Christmas morning. In the first, A pair of leggings with a Tetris print. In the next, A white t-shirt with a pink heart design done in retro consul controllers.
Scout
Gretchen would wind up hunting the mechanic down to deliver her gift in person. It was a small tool set; sockets, wrenches, and screwdrivers. And a set of allen wrenches.

Dawson would find, sitting in a small gift bag outside the door to his room, a key chain with a shield and a sword charm dangling from sturdy chains. The note attached was simple.

Cain wasn't much for gift giving but there had been a few memorable meetings this year. Maybe one or two friends in the mist of these meetings, and they did deserve something for being able to put up with him. When the time rolled around he was prepared with gifts, wrapped and ready.

Scout's friend circle wasn't particularly large and her paycheck was somewhat small (since she was still a trianee after all this time) but she did extend the effort to get them what she could.
Abbi
Seeing as Abbi was arguably Scout's closest friend (and even that was stretching it a bit), Scout tried to get what she thought was a good present. It was practical and maybe a little lame (not unlike Scout herself), but Scout got Abbi a first aid kit belt, outfitted with all the things a proper Deus nurse should have.
It was wrapped and delivered in person, albeit with a bit of awkward shuffling first.
Dawson:
Though Scout was sure Dawson was bound to get tons of tools this holiday, Scout couldn't think of anything much better. She at least hoped that her knowledge of tools would give him top quality. She even gave them to him in a shiny red toolbox that had a few sticks stuck onto it. You couldn't go wrong with stickers!
Scout had been completely surprised by the tool set present. It was much nicer than the present she'd gotten Gretchen (which was just a small, somewhat cheap hot-cocoa-and-mug set), and now she felt a bit glum about it.

Chel
After spending an exciting day at the mall, Chel had gathered enough presents for everyone. She didn't have as much free cash as she did last year between the new house's repairs and the preparations for the future, but Chel was nothing if not excessively generous.
Just like last year too, the presents were delivered in person, in a santa-esque outfit and with a kiss on the cheek (or more). It was sometimes good to see that not everything changed.
Chris
Chris' present was less a present and more and experience, because when Chel learned that there was a new Star Wars movie she immediately dropped everything, bought Chris a shitty Chewbacca onesie, threw on her Han solo outfit from a few Halloweens ago and went to the movie in style. It wasn't exactly a great "present" but Chel did pay for everything so it counted.
Afterwards they probably did some cute s**t like ice skate or go look at Christmas lights or some s**t. Cousins for life.
Abbi
As seen by her conversation with Jack, Chel was easily in tune with the kind of things that Abbi liked. Cute, pink, it was easy. This year meant she had to outdo last year which meant a theme.
The first was one of those weird plastic wands that Abbi had surely obssessed over, the second being a purse to match the cat tights she'd seen the girl sporting many times, and the last was a flask because Chel had noticed the increased drinking and while she didn't necessarily approve or disapprove, she thought Abbi should at least be doing it in style.
Just like last year, Abbi was the favorite child.
Finn
Chel had no idea what to get Finn. Last year she'd gotten him the xbox one and she didn't have the money to blow on another console to continue the tradition (plus, she wasn't really sure Finn would want one). She lamely went with Jack's suggestion of sheet music for the guitar. However, Chel was a d**k.
In his present, Finn would find sheet music books to soundtracks from movies/shows such as My Little Pony, Disney For Girls and Barbie Magic. She was at least nice enough to include the sheet music for Adventure Time too.
Ripley
Honestly even after 2+ years of friendship Chel still had no clue what to get Ripley. He was still the enigma among her friends and so she just went with whatever Finn and Jack suggested, including alcohol and nice shoes. It felt like a defeat for Chel but at least Ripley had ended up with something nice.
Gretchen:
Darling Gretchen got herself an invitation to show up at a portal at a certain time. Once there, she was ushered through and would come out on the other side of a sunflower field, wherein Chel was waiting with general picnic food. It would have been a date had Chel not been about to marry someone in a week.
Jason
Chel got Jason a whole stack of movies to go with his surround sound he got last year. The real enemy at Deus was boredom during your free time, so Chel thought to help alleviate it.
(A few of the more docile movies had been replaced with more adult films because Chel thought it was funny).
Milo
Milo got a ridiculously expensive toy. Mostly because Chel wanted to watch a grown man play with a toy like that.
Noemi:
This year Chel decided not to tease Noemi. Since Chel now had a nice oven, she invited Noemi over to make cookies. She thought the girl would like something docile and domestic.
Chel did, however, slap Noemi's a** with a hand covered in flour on her way out the door. Just so Milo (and anyone else Noemi walked past on the way home) would know exactly what had happened.
Nevada:
As tradition followed, Chel spent Christmas Eve with Nevada's grave and two cups of cocoa. Time didn't heal every wound.
Shun:
Chel did find a way to make it to the haunted house. If Shun found his way there, he'd see a present with his name on it. A set of nice daggers and a handwritten invitation to her wedding, despite his inability to show up.
She also included a set of childish mood rings with the instructions that they be given to the guild members.
Rhys:
Rhys was given a joke book. Perhaps Chel's way of being funny.

She hadn't been up that long, but it was almost Christmas and she was determined to get the only person she really knew something. After all they'd been through with the undying and all, a nice gift was the least she could do.
Max
Inside a carefully wrapped box with outrageous orange and purple paper, he would find a coffee mug with a bag of coffee settled in it, as well as a little toy van. She was a silly sentimental thing if nothing else.

Lex's gift list had grown smaller this year, which meant more money to spend on each Hunter on the list. A full day of shopping was good for him, got him away from the whole "you live on borrowed time" tension that hung in the atmosphere of Deus.
Each present was left at its recipient's doorstep, wrapped with precision but with scrawled, near illegible notes. At least the initials A.E.J. were legible.
Eva
Eva would unwrap her present to find another cookbook, along with a box of handcrafted truffles and a bottle of non-alcoholic cider.
She'd also find a note wedged into the inside of the book's front cover, asking her to meet him in Paris on the 3rd of January.
Claude
Claude's present had to be over the top and embarrassing, and probably took Lex the longest to find and even longer to obtain. In the end, however, she would open her neatly wrapped box to find only a small piece of paper that read 'look under your bed.'
Under her bed, Claude would find a body pillow and a cover for it, featuring Jack Sparrow in a very compromising position.
(The case was also filled with chocolate coins, more costume jewelry, and even a few fifths of different Rums.)
Horace
Horace's gift was a bit hard for Lex to actually nail. Sure, he could go with the classic bag of dicks, or even a box of condoms, but Horace had actually gone out of his way to try and be supportive of Lex, and that was worth something more than a throwaway gag.
So, along with a bag of gummy penises, Horace would find a beer bucket, and some candy canes.
Maebe
Maebe's was the easiest to shop for. Three bottles of white wine - a Zinfandel, a Pinot Blanc, and a Moscato. Three boxes of truffles. But, most importantly, a handwritten thank you card that was actually legible.

Noemi had become quite the nurse at this point, and Lex wasn't sure what the gal didn't have for her career path. He wound up buying her one of those five pound gummy bears, powdered caffeine, and a very adorable set of measuring spoons.
Solia
Solia got actual coal in an actual stocking hung on her doorknob. There was also some candy, a few terribly smutty romance novels (including one about a woman mounting a T-Rex), and a perfume sample some saleswoman had pawned off on him at the mall.
As per tradition, The Doctor would find a bottle of 2004 Dom Perignon on his desk Christmas morning, with a little card with Lex's initials.
Ami
Ami's present - should she ever come back- was simply the removal of Lex's personal wares from her house. All clothing, books, coffee mugs, notes, and stray hairs were removed from the premises in the dead of the night. She would come back to a house untainted and rid of him.

A few hours after a certain tweet, Maebe finds a Christmas tree at her door. Of a sort. Its components consist of a cardboard tube, green crepe paper, colored bits of construction paper, and a little paper star at the top. Underneath it are exactly a dozen presents, each of which holds half of a package of Ho-Hos.

Horace, Shiloh, Lex, Ian, Chance, and Peyton all received the same gift from Maebe. It was packaged perfectly, in gold wrapping, each with a bow of a different color. (Horace got black, Shiloh's was obviously pink, Lex's was red, Ian's was green, Chance's was blue, and Peyton's was white.)
Inside the wrapping was a fancy frame, inlaid with gold filigree, and holding a black and white picture of her. It is signed, "With Love, Maebe Grace", and a red lipstick kiss on it.
Otto's gift looked innocuous enough. It was a box absolutely filled to the brim with chocolate santas.

Cami's gift was packed in a bigger box, which was packed in a bigger box, because her gift was not sarcastic and Maebe had to keep up the tradition of being a brat somehow.
In the last box would be these shoes, picked out specifically for Cami by her, in her correct size. The note indicating who it was from was inside the shoe itself, which meant Maebe had opened the box.. and it was likely she'd tried them on at least once, before putting them back.
Christmas snuck up on Otto. As such he was ill-prepared. A hasty trip to the world beyond Deus was made on Christmas Eve.
He nearly died.
After many shovings and tacklings and cuss words loud enough for God himself to hear, Otto had himself a pile of presents to hand out. And also a black eye.
Come Christmas morning, a few people would find a gift from Otto outside their door, wrapped with care.
Nio Love
Maebe received a silver and pink wrapped present. Within was a long and very soft pink scarf, and a Carly Jepson CD.

Chance was given a hard time, but eventually given a large gift wrapped in Space paper. Inside was a mini planetarium and several packs of glow in the dark Star stickers. He also got a large book about Space.

Cami got a gift, even though Otto was worried about upsetting her just making contact with her. She would find a purple wrapped box. Inside was a cozy knit sweater in beige.
Everyone else of note had Candy Canes stuck to their door.
Except Harley. She got a red thong taped to her door.
