- ❛ First, let me state that I apologize so immensely for the lack of 'Up all night to get Bucky' that has been going on here for the past... Oh, far too long. I am truly, truly sorry that I was not as active here as I had hoped to be. But like a lot of fellow kiwis... Life happened with me. My time has been taken up with big changes, and while I'm on Gaia? I'm not actually on Gaia. Sure, I pop in from time to time and screw off, but I'm not here the way I used to be. It's unfortunate, but it is part of growing and moving on.
I, like pants, have been more focused on my real life. And I as well, have noticed that this site has become quite GC-centric. For the non-paying players, things never seem to get the updates that they deserve. Guilds need love too -- and they don't get the proper attention or care that they deserve. It makes it difficult to keep the appeal. That's not to say that we should give up on them; we shouldn't. But I also know that we can't completely restore them to their pre-cash glory. We can do our best though; but again, I realize that a great deal of us have moved on.
That life happened for so many of us. We're kiwis. Kiwis will never die. We have created a great many memories, a great many friendships, and a great many magical moments. We became a community that gave and brought joy to others. We helped put smiles on sad faces and create laughter when things seemed the roughest. That's magical -- that's what makes us such a wonderful group. Kiwis are full of heart, full of compassion, and full of warmth and light. And we should continue to share that with the rest of Gaia. For some of us, this is an ending -- but it's also been a wonderfully long journey. For others, it's a new beginning and a chance to continue a beautiful legacy.
Whatever it is for you, I hope that it's a beautiful story. I hope the kiwi is strong in your heart forever, and I hope that you look back at the memories lots of us have shared together and smile. Smiling is important. Feeling good? That's important too.
Remember, that kiwis never die. We're a forever thing.
