Loss wasn't something that Aysun seemed to be able to deal with all that easily, instead it was something that had caused him to withdraw a bit more from the world of 'humans'. He spent more time away from home, out in the wild, traveling with select members of his animal army that were best suited for the wandering around he was doing. Aysun was laying on his back, lost among the tall, bristly grass, arms cross under his head, starring at the sky. Overhead was Sunshine who was circling around where the others were, getting better and better at flying these days. Now that she'd gotten the hang of it he would need to start attaching weight to her so she could figure that out next, how to carry extra weight, especially if he was ever going to teach her how to fly with Aysun on her back.
Laying on Aysun's chest was the pink sprite, Flower, his second in command, as well as one who at times did scouting ahead for the group. Since they weren't doing anything but laying around though such things were necessary. Instead the group was being watched over by Maw who was on his feet, seeming to be keeping an eye out. The final member of the group was Sinnika, his radaku, who was growing quickly, though he wasn't anywhere near big enough to carry much more then a couple saddle bags which were mostly for practice.
"I wonder where we should go next." He murmured to Flower as he let his eyes close, "We really should consider going south, to inspect Oba and Matori, to see what sorts of beasts they have there. I also want to find a place of my own that we can all live comfortably without feeling underfoot." He knew his family wasn't exactly thrilled with his zoo, so it might be best for them to get their own place sooner then later. His own place, his own space, nobody in the way of what he wanted to do with his time. A thought that had him muttering a curse under his breath before he shifted, crossing his arms over his face, "I am tired of tears, their all dried up now, and it just makes my eyes sting." He muttered to Flower who stood up, walking over to pat Aysun on the arm. A gentle gesture that made him give a half smile, "Thank you, I will be alright, just need more time to heal I guess?"
Before he could think to get his mind back on track he heard a rumbling sound from Maw. Not a friendly one, instead one of warning. Flower was in the air instantly, on guard, and Aysun rolled over onto his hands and knees in the tall grass, one hand on his weapon, before giving a sharp whistle. The sound caused Sunny and Sinnika to come to him while Maw hunkered down, the lot of them waiting, breath held, to see what it was that put Maw on edge.

Issaly had gotten lost. It wasn't just any type of lost either. It was horribly, without a shadow of a doubt. Lost. He crossed his arms as he looked down at the map splayed out on the rock. He groaned. He couldn't read this thing if he had no idea where he was. Sighing he leaned back on the heels of his hands to look up at the sky. That conversation with Saraf rang loud and clear in his head. Something wasn't adding up...if Saraf had gotten that letter his brother swore he sent...Issaly teared up. No. He hated the thought he was lied to. Hated it with all his core. If he was...the youth slid back to his elbows, he needed to clear it with his brother. He just had to know. If Saraf was telling the truth...Issaly had to make it up to him. Even if the male hated him. He had to. He owed that much and more to the other male. They could of had worse done to them..they could of been dead by now. Saraf saved them and they ran...why? What was his brother thinking?!? He shook his head to clear his head of the thought... "Agh...Ullyee I need to stop stressing over this." he muttered. The Xanteer female looked up at him. Her gold eyes knowing. Rising she padded over to him, then nuzzled his side. Issaly smiled at her. Then looked up as Saalin and Abysio started to fight. "Hey...you two!!" Issaly started to get up before the two tumbled into the rock. Dislodging the map Issaly let out a squeak and started to run after it. "ABYSIO!!!! SAALIN!!! YOU ARE BOTH IN FOR IT WHEN I CATCH THIS MAP!!!!" And that is pretty much what Maw might of been reacting to. Issaly's map fluttering by them. As the group would watch on. Therus would dart out into view first. Followed by Abysio as he was the fastest. Saalin would be next in view, barreling into Abysio keen on winning their little fight. Ullyee would appear next. Jumping on the heads of both bigger beasts before landing. Therus missed the map and it was lost to the wind. The final figure was Issaly himself. He was currently wearing a traveling cloak, the hood was up but not for long. The loose fabric that settled around his upper body showed off slivers of skin. Issaly saw the map flying away and let out a moan. "Great. Just great. You two idiots lost the map. Now what do we do?!?" As he spoke the youth dropped his arms, the hood fell back to reveal his slightly disheveled appearance from all the running. He sighed. Reaching around to untie the large braid, then reached up to undo the braid along his temples. It was easy enough for him to redo them, he just had to get them out for a moment. Fluffing his hair out fully. He shrugged off the cloak. Sitting down he huffed. "If you two are done!" the two males stopped growling and staring each other down. Ullyee easily smacking them with her tail before going into the large pack on Abysio. She brought out a comb and brought it to Issaly. The youth smiled. "Thank you, Ullyee." He combed out his hair and was about to re-braid it when Therus let out a sharp trill. Abysio and Saallin both looked at the tall grass. Ullyee stood in front of Issaly.

Aysun stayed down, waiting and watching, before his bright blue eyes went rather wide, "What are those?" Be breathed, starring at the two strange creatures that were standing there before him. They were like nothing he'd seen before and he was instantly curious... but the problem was that they were alone. Starring at the two of them he found himself wanting nothing more then to go forward to make friends with them... but the problem was the Shifter with them. He wasn't sure if he wanted to bother with going and meeting other people, he just wanted to be left alone... but as the map that the Shifter had went flying away he found himself following it with his eyes. Should he do something? The map was likely important... but there still that part of him that wanted to stick to the tall grass and hope the Shifter and his allies moved on even if Aysun was curious about them. Coming to land on Aysun's shoulder, giving his cheek a pat, was Flower. The sprite was nudging at him, seeming to be trying to get him to move forward instead of just staying hidden in the grass. Giving a sighing sound he looked over at him, "I... suppose you're right... and if we give him the map he might leave..." Giving a growling sound he pushed himself to his feet, making a motion with his hand, "Sunny!" The bird burst forth from the grass, flying after the map that had fluttered passed them, before he turned his attention to those before him. Maw rose out of the grass next to him, coming to stand beside him, tail lashing, teeth barred. Lifting a hand up he patted it against Maw's side with his free hand, the other one holding onto the haft of his spear. He looked toward those before him, then away again, "Easy Maw, the last thing that we need is for you to pick a fight with another of your kind." He didn't want to see him fight with another janarim or the other two, whatever they were. Sinnika rose up, taking a few steps forward as though he wanted in on... whatever was going on, but Aysun was quick to scoop up the radaku pup. He eased him down on his feet, patting him on the head, "Stay, Sinnika." He ordered the pup, giving a little whistle, the sort that he'd trained them all with, the sort that made even the excited Sinnika sit still. His attention then went to the Shifter... girl? Boy? Hard to say, he was too pretty either way which made him curious but he brushed it aside quickly, "Sunshine is getting your map, then you can move on with it." He said simply, turning to look at Flower when the sprite gave his hair a tug as though to tell him to behave himself.

Issaly blinked as he saw the Kinfa. Oh...he stood up to watch the flyer smiling softly. "Sunshine...their amazing." he turned his head to look at the newcomer who showed himself. Then blinked. The male before him was impressive. Good stance, a tad aggressive but Issaly figured he was intruding on his private time. He would of spoken more but Ullyee pulled on his cloak. Letting out a soft gasp as the cloth fell fully away. He was wearing merely a vest. Sighing he looked down at her. "Ulyee..." The female gave him a look before simply putting the cloak in the pack on the Janarim. Issaly sighed. "Thanks for your help...ah. My name's Issaly..." he said taking half a step forward. He stopped thanks to Abysio stepping before him. The male growling at Maw. Saalin hovering behind Issaly joined in...Issaly himself glanced to Ullyee. The female clicking at the two males before smacking them both with her tail again. The two males fell silent. Therus fluttered up to look at Flower and trill out a greeting...

"She is amazing." He said, turning to following after the kinfa as she flew along, snagging the map out of the air in her talons, before she circled around to returned to him. She landed alongside him. Squatting down he took the map from her, dusting it off, before he looked over at the Shifter before him. Now that he'd shed the vest he was wearing he was able to see that the boy was just that, a boy. It had him starring for but a moment before he shrugged. Well, that answered that, he'd wondered on the gender of the one before him and one of the unknown creatures had answered that question. Now he knew... not that it was exactly important, he wasn't a beast after all, wouldn't go sniffing after every stranger as though they were a potential mate, especially since he wasn't exactly interested in such things presently.
Rolling the map up he gave a shrug of one shoulder, "It was just the fetching of a map, nothing more." It was nothing, he hadn't helped him. He was just getting the map so that the guy could continue on his way, nothing more. He wasn't up for making new friends... though at the same time it was kind of nice to talk to someone who could talk back. A thought he brushed aside as he heard the janarim across from him growling. It was a sound that had Maw growling in returned though he didn't move yet, not without direction from Aysun. Lifting a hand to catch hold of Maw's horn lightly he said, "No fighting." Two simple words said before he looked over at Issaly once more. He was able to tell him to have his beasts stand down, not wanting any blood shed, but the request seemed as though it weren't needed. Instead one of the beasts, the alpha of the group, silenced the others. Good, that meant there shouldn't be an incident.
"Stay close, Flower." He said to his sprite as the pink creature move to hover above his head, looking toward the darker sprite, waving at Therus. If it weren't for Aysun's request he might approach, but best he didn't, not wanting to get eaten by the strange beasts that the one called Issaly commanded.

Issaly didn't hear the others name, but brushed it off in favor of stepping past Abysio. A reptilian breathless whimper sounded off to his right. Issaly looked back humming a small tune. It was signal he used with them often that meant: All clear. Saalin huffed but remained where he was. Ullyee was the one who strode beside the youth as he walked up to the older male. Therus flew to Issaly's shoulder, sitting to watch Aysun. Issaly stepped up to the male. "Thanks. Its more than a simple map. I actually helped the mapmaker create this back when I was younger...well at least a small part of the Jauhar section."
He chuckled as he took the map back. "Ah..." he looked down as Ullyee nibbled at his hip. "Right...proper manners, huh?" he stroked under her chin. "This pretty girl is Ullyee. She's a Zanteer from the Matori shores. She and the large reptile over there...Saalin. Were in a caravan which was attacked by bandits. I found them being sold in a ally in a market. After talking with the owner, he gave the two to me. All I have to do is make sure they never get caught again. Saalin is what they call a Snaptrotter." he glanced to Aysun. "Most people tend to stare and then ask, I figured I might as well offer up the information since we have similar companions. Your Janarim and Sprite. The big guy there trying to look tough. Is Abysio. The little guy here on my shoulder is Therus."

Aysun looked at the map before holding out, allowing Issaly to take it from him, before he gave a nod of his head. It seemed as though he helped to make this map back in the day. He gave a shrug, "Do be careful in Jauhar if that is where you're heading, there are a lot of dangerous things there if one doesn't have a weapon to protect themselves." He warned Issaly, feeling that it would be a waste if he got eaten by the menzuri or something equally as dangerous. It might have been something that dangerous that had... a thought that he refused to finished though. He shook it off then looked away from Issaly for a moment. At least until he started to give out more introductions. Turning back he listened to what he was saying about his pets, finding them to be interesting. To learn what they were, where they were from, as well as how he had gotten them. Matori, again. It seemed as though he were getting a bunch of signs that told him he should travel there, to possibly meet new beast friends there. The trip there would take him through Oba, meaning making friends there as well. He didn't want to leave alone though, not yet at least, he'd much rather chat with his twin first. He wondered if Chandra would go with him on the trip... hard to say really. Giving a nod he said, "Thanks for the information." Thinking about it he pointed at each of his beasts in turn, "The janarim is Maw, the radaku is Sinnika, the kinfa is Sunshine or Sunny, and the sprite is Flower." He thought about it, held his breath, then let it out slowly before he said, "And I am Aysun." He supposed he should share his name even though he kind of didn't want to.

Issaly blinked at the male. Someone seemed uneasy with giving out their name...well. The male most likely had demons he had to deal with. Wasn't Issaly's concern nor his business to get involved. "Their all magnificent. Thanks again...ah. Aysun. That's a rather impressive Trident...what path are you taking?" He looked at the weapon in question. It was truly magnificent. Suiting its owner and the company they kept. He didn't feel like speaking more. Talk wasn't needed when the other party seemed....distant. Issaly wasn't an idiot...Aysun was short with his words and even shorter about looking directly at Issaly for too long. The youth figured it was all in his head but...he just had this feeling.

Aysun turned to look at those gathered around him, giving a little nod of his head, "They are definitely that, a beautiful and loyal group that I have gathered around." He said, finding himself relaxing even if it were ever so slightly. He released his hold on Maw's horn, feeling it was alright since his zoo was standing separate from that of Issaly, neither side leaving their master alone. Instead they seemed to be watching and waiting, behaving, all of which was more then welcome by Aysun who would rather not have to deal with anymore blood shed any time soon. He'd had his fill of it already in his young life. Turning to look over at Issaly again he found himself wondering what he should do, what he should say. He was shaken by recent events that had left him wanting to be alone but if they had met before that what would he have done? It was likely he'd of run over to greet the new beasts, would have complimented them, petted and hugged them, shared snacks with them that he carried at all times on his person. Instead he was just starring, feeling as though his feet were stuck in a bog, that bog being his depression over losing someone. That he hadn't even been able to confess before said person passed making it that much heavier a of a weight that held him down. He should say something. Starring was rude... or among beasts it could be seen as him being aggressive, sizing up Issaly, as though he would fight him for dominace. Not exactly what he wanted to appear as though he was going for given that it felt unfair. The guy didn't even have a weapon so what was the point of trying to prove himself alpha? That in mind he decided he could try to act more friendly so as not to appear as though he only hung out with animals and never other people. He would talk about what the guy was asking him about, "Rider. I am training three of them for the purpose, though two are still too young to carry me. Until they are older and stronger only Maw can carry me." The other two being the radaku and the kinfa, neither of which were quite there yet.

Issaly smiled at the male. He seemed to really like to be around his companions. Noticing how Abysio seemed on edge he reached out a delicate hand. Stroking the large beast between his eyes, one would find it pretty comical as the beast lowered itself to lay at Issaly's side. Giggling he let Saalin nose his large snout under his other arm. "Yes, yes. You get pets too..." he scratched the creature on the bridge of his nose. Giggling again as Saalin laid on his other side. "Typcial. You two try to be big and bad...then all I have to do is stroke a weak point and you melt." he removed his hands shaking his head as the two beasts stayed where they were. Issaly had little knowledge of dominating his companions, though most tamers would say the youth had a natural talent. Issaly's passion laid elsewhere. He looked down as Ullyee sat in front of him. She tilted her head as she looked over Aysun. Nodding the female leaned back into Issaly's legs to chitter up at the youth. Issaly had picked up on her tones a long time ago. Usually when she wanted him to show manners she used this tone. Most of the time he guessed at what her goal was. "Ah...Aysun. Would you care to join us for a mid-morning snack? I have a new herbal tea I wanted to taste test with someone." he asked with a small smile. "While we rest, I'm sure Ullyee will let you examine her. She's quite relaxed when it comes to that. She's used to it..." he chuckled.

"That tends to be the case, none of them really want to be monsters, they just come to look that way because of circumstance. They are too big, too many teeth, or they are protecting something." He said, giving Maw a glance. He met the beast because there had been rumors of a 'monster' causing issues in the forest of Jauhar and now Maw was just a big puppy... well, at least around him. Looking around at his group he gave another little whistle, one that caused them to go from standing at attention to relaxing once more. The sound told them that things were alright and that they could stand down. This caused Sinnika to return to running about, making circles around Maw while yipping. Sunshine on the other hand took to the air once more, back to doing her overhead circling. Aysun looked up at her, watching her, proud that she'd finally figured out flight as opposed to stealing rides on Maw's back. She was almost getting too big for that these days he thought to himself before he looked over at Issaly again. Eh? A snack? He lookeda round at his group then gave a slow nod, "Well... I am sure that they would appreciate it." He mused, feeling that snacks might be a good idea since they had behaved so well during the stand off with Issaly's band of beasts. "Examine her?" His eyes seemed to light up more then any other moment in the conversation, looking the beast called Ullyee in a curious manner. He would like to get a closer, hands on look at her, to look her over and learn more about her. She was a lovely creature after all, "Hmmm, that sounds like it would be interesting... what of the snaptrotter? Can I look it over as well?"

Issaly saw the male brighten a little, giving his own current mood a turn in a good sense as well. He smiled at the other as he looked down at her. "Ullyee...would you mind that?" The female seemed to ponder it before nuzzling into Issaly's side. She let out a chirp that Issaly knew to be a affirmative. He nodded. "She's on board with it...ah as for Saalin..." he looked back to the Snaptrotter. The large male's fins dropped a little as he slunk behind Abysio. Failing to hide behind the larger male due to his tail. Issaly sighed. "Maybe if I'm next to you...Saalin has a few weak points I can use to get him to allow another's touch. He's...uh....like a big kid." With the plan settled Issaly walked over to a small clearing. Abysio following close behind, letting out a soft trill when the small Shifter pulled out a blanket. "Saalin, Therus...firewood please, boys?" he looked over his shoulder. The two beasts nodded, Therus sitting on Saalin's head as the large male walked into the trees. Issaly set about making a small pit, not afraid to get his hands dirty. Once he had that done, the youth got out a small kettle, some herbs and prepped the tea. He poured water from his waterskin. Smiling as Ullyee perfected the pit and rolled rocks around it, chirping twice she alerted Issaly to Saalin and Therus' return. Issaly looked up at Aysun. "Take a seat on the blanket it'll be a few minutes until the water boils just right. Ullyee go lay down." The female walked to the blanket and laid out. Abysio laid on the edge of the sheet, his large massive head rested on his front legs. Issaly stood after getting the fire going and set the kettle on. He walked to Abysio and slipped off the complex saddle bags. He did the same for Saalin and set the bags at Abysio's side. He then turned with a happy sigh to Aysun. "So...did you have any curiosities or questions ?"

Aysun looked over at Saalin, giving him a once over, then nodded his head, "I understand, I don't mean to rush him or scare him. That is the last thing I want." He worked with animals enough and spent enough time with them to know that one couldn't just rush at them. All that would do would get Aysun bit... which wouldn't be any fun at all given the sheer size of the snaptrotter. No, if he was going to get close to that one he would do so on a level that allowed for both of them to be comfortable. As the other mentioned Saalin being a 'big kid' he have a bit of a smile and a nod. Sounded nice to hear someone refer to one of their beasts in such a manner, especially when so many people looked at Aysun as though he were crazy when he babied his.
As Issaly set to work setting up a make shift place for a picnic he watched for a moment before he moved over to Maw's side, digging into the packs that he was carrying, before he got out some rations. Dried meat, mostly aldabuk, which he'd gotten from his Uncle Jacin along with a water skin of pure, fresh water. In the pack that he himself carried were things for his pets. Aysun was barely able to sit down on the blanket before Maw settled behind him, allowing him to lean back against him. He gave the janarim a smile before he got out a treat from his pack, tossing it to the janarim who snapped it out of the air, "Good job, Maw. I am impressed." Another piece was tossed to Sinnika though it just bounced off of the radaku's head before he picked it up off the ground, which made him laugh a bit.
Looking up Aysun watched Sunshine. He considered calling her down but felt that if she got hungry or bored that she would join them. She seemed to be enjoy herself, so he'd let her be for now. He turned to look toward Flower, watching him flutter overhead, and he said, "If you go higher up, out of the reach of the predators, maybe you can chat with the other sprite up there?" A suggestion that Flower took to heart as he chirped at Therus before flying straight up, higher then he felt the big beasts could reach. That done his attention went back to Issaly, "Hm? Questions? Not sure, I guess what brought about you taking in such a large group?" Most people thought Aysun crazy... but it seemed he wasn't the only one with a zoo, something interesting since he'd never see it before today.

Issaly blinked. "This is large? Ah...well. I really don't know. I like being surrounded. I mean..." he sat on the edge of the blanket. "They don't lie." a soft sigh left him before he watched Therus dart after Flower. "That must be a male. Therus runs from females." The slender shifter pulled off the cloak entirely, draping it over Saalin. Ullyee shifted to roll on her back beside Aysun. Issaly laughed. "Okay show off..." he shook his head sliding back to lean against Abysio. "Honestly. I don't think on how many I have around me. Just...who they are. Abysio is sorta crass with others but kind with the group. Ullyee is pretty much the leader, she also doesn't mind outsiders. Saalin can't find his way outta a burlap sack, but he's a sweetie. Therus...well...." he looked up. "He likes making people yell."

Aysun leaned into Maw, stroking a hand against his scaly hide, "Decently large, but in the eyes of some, yes." He had fewer beasts following him around when he was younger and that was still seen as 'too many' in the eyes of some. A shame since he rather loved them all, though it didn't mean that he was going to give any of them up or give up on possibly meeting more of them in the future. Letting his eyes close he listened for a moment to Maw's heart beat, giving a slow nod, "You're right, they don't lie. They are always at your side, loyal and ready to help where they can." They hadn't left him either, not like some, and he wanted to keep them close so that he could protect his beasts as he'd failed to do with... he shook his head and sat up a bit. He looked over at Ullyee as she rolled onto her back near to him and he reached out to pet a hand against her smooth fur, giving a half smile, "You are quite a lovely beast, aren't you? Such pretty fur you've had, I don't think I've seen anything like it before." It was unlike what the beasts in Tale and Jauhar had, therefore something new to investigate. It made him think about his plans to travel once more. He'd been thinking about going on a journey before, to visit the new lands and meet their beasts, but now it seemed like an even better idea. Get away from all the normal things and go somewhere that he'd never been before. Digging into the pouch at his side Aysun got out some dried meat pieces, giving one of them to Maw to chew on before he offered another to Ullyee, "Would you like to try some? It's quite good, dried and a bit chewy, my beasts love it." He glanced toward Abysio and Saalin, "You're both welcome to some as well." He told them, giving them a nod before turning back to the female laying next to him to see what she thought of the offer of a treat, giving a bit of a smile as Issaly described his 'followers' and nodded, "They sound like a wonderful bunch."
