Arron sat beside a puddle and blew leaves across its surface, he was bored again, for a busy jungle it sure wasn't interesting when you were by yourself and didn't feel like getting eaten. His mother was out hunting again, it was like she was determined to feed the shifter family they stayed with for the next year. He sighed and sunk his leaf. If only Volka was still around at least he would have his sister to play with. Her loss seemed like a big hole in his heart, he no longer had his twin. It was terrible to not even have Iroia around, he knew she needed to cope with all of this but why couldn't she cope a little closer. Sure she had set the shifters out to watch him so he wasn't in danger just..well they were not his mother. He stomped away not knowing that he was showing a bit of his mother's temper while being just as sensitive as his father had been. Dad... He missed him too. A tear tried to slide down his face but he swiped it away.

Drexl jumped down from the fallen tree he climbed over, holding out a hand to Jerami after he reached the bottom he smiled up at their fellow adventurer. He and Lixes were allowed to go further today provided that Pyre stay right at their side. Drexl didn't mind that. He liked adventuring with his little brother...on their way they spotted Jerami and Drexl had run over. Tripped over his own feet and asked with a little giggle if Jerami would join them. To help Jerami feel brave around Pyre, Drexl had kept a hold of his hand. Thinking in his innocent mind that if Pyre saw he was safe around Jerami it would help the radaku accept the other young male. As well as his little bird... As he walked the little one noticed another small adventurer. Oh...he slowed to look back to Lixes. His courage faltering a bit...

Reaching out a hand to take hold of that of his friend Drexl the not as brave Jerami clung to his hand, shifting from foot to foot, before getting the courage together to hop down. He landed, stumbled a little, then gave a smile, "Thank you, Drexl!" He chirp, still holding his friend's hand as he turned and waited for Bruin to hop down to as well. The little brown bird did so with a rapid flap of his wings, before fluffing up and going to stand next to Jerami. The little kinfa never seemed to want help, ever, seemingly wanting to prove himself. Once they joined Drexl and Lixes's group, a group that had the radaku in it, he only seemed to get worse. It was something Jerami supposed that he had to get used to though, not wanting to force his affections on Bruin when the bird seemed to want to do things on his own.
Lifting his aqua eyes from Bruin to Drexl he realized that his friend was looking... something? Following his gaze he found himself looking at another youngling. Seeing that Drexl was looking to Lixes for direction Jerami decided to do the same thing. Best that he let Lixes lead since he was by far the one who was best suited to being the leader of their little group.***** Lixes, feeling the eyes of everyone else on him, turned to stare at the Drexl and Jerami, head cocking to one side, "What?" He asked, turning only when Jerami pointed, finding himself starring at... "Oh, hey! Would you look at that?" Another youngling? Another odd looking one, just like them! It made him wonder who he was, what he was, and what he was up to! There seemed to be only one way to find out, huh? "Alright everyone, let's go say hello!" No reason not to, not when he was all alone at the moment and Lixes knew that being alone was likely the most boring thing in the entire world! They might as well save the dark haired boy in front of them from an afternoon of boredom he thought to himself as he caught hold of Drexl's free hand, using it to drag the other two along. Once he'd gotten them from point a to point b, with Bruin and Pyre following along behind them, he gave a wave and said, "Hello there! Wanna come adventuring with us?"

Arron sat there with his jaw open for half a second so many younglings and they came out of nowhere! He was a bit startled but warmed up to the idea quickly, he stood and introduced himself. "Hello I am Arronthain its a um pleasure to meet you." He thought that was how you were supposed to say it. Then the content of the boys words hit him. Adventure! "I would love to go on an adventure with you! I have like...nothing to do here and all the others are away somewhere and I hate having nothing to do." He peered about at the others, like him he couldn't pin down any one race in them.. how wonderful..not that a pure blood wouldn't be wonderful but it was good to meet others who were like him..well kinda like him? Anyway onward with the play! "Where are we going?"

Drexl smiled at the new adventurer to their little band. "Hi. I'm Drexl! This is my little brother Lixes and our friend Jerami. Its nice to meet you! Arronthain..." he blinked a few times. "Is there a shorter version of your name?"

Jerami looked passed Drexl and Lixes, looking at the new boy, and after he was able to get his courage up he lifted a hand to wave at the one who introduced himself as 'Arronthain' which was a rather interesting name indeed, "H-Hello." He greeted the boy. So they were going to make another friend? A bit of a surprise to him, but since the brothers were so nice then surely those that Lixes was going to invite to join them would be nice as well, right? That was what he hoped at least. He might be a touch shy when it came to new people it found it easier to deal with new comers when they were his age.
Arronthain asked where they were heading and he found himself looking between the brothers in a curious manner. Where were they going? Lixes said an adventure but never really said where that adventure was located. Giving him a glance he asked,"Where are we going?"***** Lixes looked around the group, then gave a little bit of a shrug, "I can't really see where we're going. We are going on an adventure! So... I guess we are trying to find the adventure?" He felt that, with luck, they were going to find something adventurous to do. He just wasn't sure where said adventure was going to be located, "Come on, let's work together to find something cool! I bet with this many of us that we should be able to do it... right?" Or so he hoped. Looking between the other three others that he was surrounded by, as well as the two familiars that were with them. They had a good sizes group so they would be able to find something to do. At least he felt so. Releasing his brother's hand so that he could clap his own together, giving a grin, "Alright! Let's get going! Onward to adventure!"

In that case, or in any case really, Arron was all up for adventure! He brushed himself off and stood ready for adventure to nowhere. He wondered if these boys would become good friends in the long run, he really hoped so, Berchi knew he needed friends in the worst way. "Do you guys live in Jauhar? We just moved recently from Sauti where my Daddy was from." Mention of his father brought him down a little so he moved on. "Does it ever snow here? It doesn't feel like it. But I like it just the same, lots of critters to follow around." One of the boys seemed to be pretty shy so Arron gave him his space, least he startle the boy before he got used to him. He could understand that some people were just ..gentler maybe wasn't the right word was it? Maybe more cautious was better. He just wasn't really aggressive but nor was he overly quiet either, he supposed he might change but for right now he was who he was..which was excited about adventure.

The older of the two brothers fell quiet, it seemed like his question was ignored. Maybe not on purpose since he noticed the other youngling's distance upon mentioning their Dad. Did something really bad happen recently? Drexl knew better than to ask, it would of been rude. So he instead focused on his brother and friend. He looked to the kinfa Jerami always had with him and petted the fluffy head. Keeping his other clasped with Jerami's...it was something Drexl found himself doing more often. Well...Jerami was fun and Drexl always managed to lose Lixes on a adventure. He rather not lose Jerami okay... He didn't want Jerami's Moms to get mad.

An adventure that they had to find? Jerami thought it over a minute before giving a slow nod. He supposed that was alright, that it was a surprise, though he wondered if he should worry that it was a surprise not just to Jerami himself but to the entire group. Didn't that mean that they could run the risk of getting lost? Getting lost was something quite scary to Jerami, making his antennae give a rapid twitch, his hand tightening for a moment on Drexl's hand. Forcing himself to relax though, because surely they wouldn't go far enough to get lost, he forced himself to listen to what the others were saying.
It seemed that Arronthain had recently moved here, which meant that they were lucky to have gotten to meet him. At the boy's question about snow he found himself blinking in a confused manner before he looked to Drexl, "What's snow?" He asked, curious about what it was. Noting that he'd ever seen or heard of before, so did that mean that there was no snow in Jauhar? He wondered why and really hoped that Drexl would be able to fill him in.***** As Jerami asked questions of Drexl the blond haired Lixes was more focused on Arron, giving a shake of his head at the question he asked them, "We don't, we live in Tale actually, well... kind of. We used to live here in Jauhar, then we moved cause of some scary ladies my Dada didn't want us anywhere near, then we came back again for a while." He explained, not wanting to think about what had brought them here. Instead he'd focus on the good. "Hm... I... don't know? Can't say I know what snow is." Lixes said, then nodded his head, "Oh! Yeah, there are all kinds of cool creatures around to check out. Though there are also some we need to stay far, far away from. It should be alright though, I mean we are adventuring around a village, so the scariest things should have been cleared out by the grown ups." Or so he assumed. There was that one maglardilla that chased Jerami a few days ago, but other then that they hadn't really seen much in the way of trouble during their walks.

"You guys can call me Ar or Arron if you want," he said suddenly remembering an earlier question. "Sorry I get kinda distracted sometimes..." He was excited about going somewhere. He couldn't stop moving now that that excitement had leaked into his blood. "I have heard about the radaku, what else should we stay away from? Is it just because we are so small and conviniently snack sized? Or do the adults have to be wary as well?" He liked critters and he was thinking about being a beast charmer potentially when he grew up or a rider or maybe a thief, it was the last one he wasn't so sure of. That meant stealing from people which would be detrimental to them and he wasn't sure he wanted to be that mean.

Drexl nodded. "We haven't seen snow yet. I would like to since we have Ice blood...but Daddy doesn't seem to wanna go. That's alright though." for now he would listen to his Father's. For now. He started to feel a tug elsewhere. A yearning to leave...he didn't understand it. Maybe he was restless? he didn't know. He liked going on adventures with his brother and their friends...he wanted to see more of their big world...but... He wasn't going to lie and say he wasn't afraid of leaving. Of that unknown of what laid beyond the safety of his Father's protection.

Jerami looked over at Pyre who was prowling around, likely keeping an eye on things, then back to the other boys. He wasn't sure about them but he definitely didn't want to get chased by something that big and scary! No, he'd stick to dealing with smaller animals, thank you. Small, cute things, those like Bruin he thought to himself, giving the fluffy baby kinfa a glance. Little did he know how big the bird would end up, but for the time being at least he was just a tiny fluff ball with a big attitude.
"I know there are lots of scary things but... maybe... spitorogs? My older sister Shima catches them all the time even though they are prickly and weird." He suggested in a hushed tone of voice, his antennae giving a rapid twitch. While he had zero desire to touch one of those creepy frogs maybe the others would want to since they seemed interested in wild critters?***** "Arron it is! I like the sound of that best since Ar sounds like something Pyre would say." He said with a chuckle, patting their new friend on the back as he made the terrible joke. It was funny to him and that was what mattered! At his brother's mention of their 'Ice Blood' he gave a lazy sort of half shrug, "We also have Wind and Alkidike blood, but we haven't gone to those places either. We probably have to wait until we are older, like a lot older... wielding weapons older, before we can go to places that far off." He stuck his tongue out at the idea since that seemed like sooooo far away. Still, it was something to look forward to, right? Getting old enough and strong enough that they could go on long distance adventures! Lixes was definitely looking forward to getting his hands on a weapon of his own. Lixes looked over at Jerami, then nodded, looking around the group, "Jerami has the idea! We should go catch some of those dopey looking frogs! Their pretty funny, the way their eyes look in different directions, and if you startle them they either inflate or fall over, spitting bubbles all the while!" He started to laugh at the mere idea of it. It could be a lot of fun to just jump out of hiding and yell 'BOO' at a bunch of those silly frogs.

"I haven't seen Zena either despite ice blood, father and mother lived in Sauti when they had us, and that was where we were until we came down here." "What frogs? I haven't seen any. Do they hide during the day or have I just missed them completely in my wanderings?" It could be he just hadn't found any, he hadn't gone too far really yet. "They sound fascinating!" He smiled as the leader patted him on the back and he waved at the shy one, "Good suggestion," It seemed that these boys were all arrayed along a personality gradient, the one boy who had no brothers here; Jerami he was the quietest, next was Drexl and then Lixes took the power position on top. It seemed to work very well for the group and Lixes seemed to listen well to opinions, it made Arron less nervous about going with them, they trusted each other therefore he was more inclined to trust them. Which was a big deal for him at this point in time.

Drexl wasn't a fan of those frogs. He shivered not voicing his displeasure out loud least he burst the joy bubble that seemed to be forming. He did make a face though, couldn't help that. He looked a Jerami and then to Bruin, hopfully the little fluff stayed a little fluff. He shifted his hand holding to something a bit more comfortable. Lacing his fingers with Jerami's. The dark haired hybrid smiled at Arron. "Oh...that's cool. We meet another with ice blood in them. Maybe one day we'll all travel to Zena to see snow...ah...if Jerami's mothers allow it and Jerami wants to go." He looked back to Jerami. He didn't want the other child to get into trouble with his Mommies. Just cause he got dragged along a adventure with them. He wanted to say that he would protect Jerami but...the words never made it out for some reason.

Jerami gave a thoughtful sound as Arron asked about the frogs, "I... don't know. Sometimes they don't seem smart enough to hide. They just sort of sit around, all puffed up, starring into space. It's... strange." He wasn't sure he trusted them, they were obviously up to something the way that they starred at two different things at once. Shima was able to catch them easily enough though, but then again Shima was a lot braver then he was. Jerami didn't think he was strong enough to go chasing after and actually picking up those frogs, not when they had so many spines.
At the mention of going to Zena he shifted in place, his eyes a little wide. He wasn't sure what he thought about the idea of traveling so far... but if it was with friends it should be alright, right? Especially if they did what Lixes said, waiting until they had weapons. If they did that then it might actually be an option... but for now they were going to catch frogs. It seemed that it was a suggestion that the others liked, meaning that they were going to try to catch them. His antennae gave a rapid twitch before he nodded, "Alright, we should try it then."
He wasn't going to catch them himself, no way, no how, but he'd definitely watch the braver members of the group try.***** "We did? Oh! Yeah, that boy with the antennae and neat eyes, what was his name again? Nim?" Lixes asked, recalling the time they'd spent with the kid a while back during the time their Alkidike sisters were going crazy... or at least that was how one of their fathers would word it. At least things seemed calm now allowing them to all play outside like this with only Pyre as their guardian instead of needing both their armed parents watching over them. Giving a toothy grin he said, "Alright, it's a plan then, we will definitely go to Zena once we are all armed and ready to go!" He clapped his hands together, "I'm going to have a giant hammer just like our dad does! Once I get strong enough to actually pick one up that is. Do any of you guys know what weapon you want yet?" He asked the quite of the group, rather curious if any of them even had an inkling yet.
