So far nothing, but who knew how long that would last. She doubted she'd be able to go for very long, though. Maybe a couple of hours at best, but never the whole time she was out exploring. There was always something lurking nearby.

She heard something whinny just as she passed an alley-looking sort of path, and she stared in that direction for a good while before moving on. It was probably that invisible things that rammed into her that other night, if she had to guess. Not a fun experience.

It seemed to be following her, the whinnying sound. Which was't a good sign, so she picked up the pace and started brisk walking and making a few turns into alleys and smaller pathways to try and lose it.

Eventually the sounds stopped so she figured she must have lost it, which was a good thing. Still she kept her shotgun at the ready, in case something--anything--took her by surprise.

Almost as soon as she rounded another corner to head for a clearing she saw it lurching nearby, seemingly coming toward her. She raised a brow in question and wondered if she should even bother waiting for it--she could clearly run off and leave it in her dust--but figured it couldn't hurt to get rid of one while she was on her way. It was coming toward her, so as far as she was concerned it started it.
She cocked her gun and waited until it was close enough to shoot with a decent level of accuracy.

But then again, maybe it getting close was a good thing. She aimed for its head this time, and it was close enough that when she pulled the trigger she blasted a hole right through its head. A satisfied grin settled across her features as she put her gun down and looked at the undying lying limp on the ground.

As it dissolved away it left a bag of chips in its place, which as odd and convenient at the same time. She could always use a bag of chips, so she picked it up and bagged it before going on her way.
