It was a nice day, or at least, as nice as they came anymore, and G-Man decided to go on a little patrol. Held in one hand was his trusty, brand new shotgun, but hooked onto his belt was the fishing rod that had seen him through many a tough battle. His skin was still growing green, and while that was rather strange, he tried not to dwell on it too much, especially since he felt perfectly, or at least mostly, normal.

N/A At some point along his travels, G-Man heard a scratching, scrabbling like sound from behind a nearby, burned out husk of an abandoned vehicle. Approaching slowly, he carefully caught a glimpse at the undying that was sat on the ground, gnawing on a skull. It looked pretty wicked, and as he thought he'd rather not engage the creature, he opted instead to sneak away quietly and to hope not to be seen.

For a while after he left the undying behind to its own devices, G-Man did not encounter any other problems.

N/A He came upon another creepy looking undying, and once again quickly noped himself as far away as he could get, before he could be seen and become the next skull on the devourers menu.

He had decided that he might just be better off heading back to the mall base when it hit him like a train, something unseen colliding into him and sending him flying through the air only to collapse in a heap on the ground, his gun spinning off across the pavement, knocked free of his grasp. He gasped for air, his lungs having been emptied, the wind completely knocked out of him. His chest burned with the need as he tried and failed several times to breathe, all while his hand clutched for his fishing rod.
He could hear the footsteps coming closer.
His fingers fumbled to remove the rod from his belt, but the moment it was free, and when he thought the galloping footsteps has almost reached him, he swung, as hard as he could in such a weakened state.
Whatever it was stopped.
Everything had gone quiet.
G-Man collapsed back onto the ground in pain.
HP: 1
Damage: 7
Mob HP: 0

Eventually, G-Man sat back up, slowly, his body aching and very weak. Nearby, a needle filled with a green substance was laying on the ground, and he picked it up, inspecting it briefly before pocketing it.
Finally getting to his feet, he retrieved his shotgun, and began the arduous journey back to the mall.
He was going to need a long rest after this.
