THE FFA ORIGINAL SIXThe history of the FFA comics really begins with these characters. These few people managed to start a war amongst each other in the very first FFA match, a drag out brawl with wrestling moves, a fight to the finish, elimination only by "knock out", a loose FFA term to describe a competitor no longer being able to compete. In reality being "knocked out" in FFA matches was just as often a literal term as it was that the competitor had been set on fire and turned to dust, or turned into a small, easily managable cube of flesh in a garbage compactor, or had their head literally kicked off. Don't worry, they all showed back up for the next event of course. These seven, thats right you read that right, seven characters started it all and some of them have been around in different iterations in my wrestling world than even the FFA's history. There are seven members of the Original Six. I'll outline each here and discuss them briefly in an editor's paragraph. I will also include an "Overall Rating" for them in the bios. This is both the rating I would normally give them as a CAW in a video game and also serves to show where I rank them amongst each other as far as wrestlers go. A main eventer won't always have a high 90s rating, and further more in FFA any one wrestler can likely beat any other one wrestler at any time, but the ratings serve a purpose anyway. Each overall will be accompanied by a High/Low in parentheses as well, to represent how they have changed in range over time. Shane TuuNickname: "The Imposter" "Kelly King 1.0" "1.0" Height/Weight: 6'2'' 223lbs Alignment: Heel FFA Overall Rating: 84 (90 High 84 Low) Short Bio: Shane Tuu, also known as Kelly King 1.0, is a man who looks remarkably similar to Kelly King 2.0 in almost every way. They share the same physical style and technique, as well as similar body features. He competed as Kelly King in the beginning of FFA's history, and it was not until the real Kelly King appeared that people started to get suspicious. At first they passed it off as though they were twin brothers, meaning there was a Kelly King 1.0 and a Kelly King 2.0 both competing in FFA at the same time, while 1.0 continued to act as the business owner behind the scenes as well. Shane Tuu was one of the "Original Six" members of FFA who competed in the first ever FFA Match, placing third, losing ultimately to Michael Landry.
Kelly King 1.0 even managed to win the FFA Championship once, which is actually more than the real Kelly King could say for himself, defeating Vince Caputo and Marx in the company's first ever Ladder Match.
Wes King, 2.0's actual family, came into the business at a later date and proved that Tuu was not in fact a member of the King family, and Shane was revealed to be a completely different person entirely. In more recent times, Shane has slowed down on his competitive side in FFA to act as a General Manager to FFA, putting an end to a very long period of time where there were many random guest General Managers.
Entrance Theme: "King of Kings" - Manowar "King of Everything" - Anarchy Club "Blind Man" - Black Stone Cherry
Signatures: Lightning Leg Clothesline Stun Gun Springboard Dropkick 2.0ver
Finishers: Downgrader (Spear) Flatliner (Reverse STO) Twisted Flow v2 (Edgecator)
Strengths: Chain wrestling, grapples, submissions. Weaknesses: Stamina, physicial strength, hardcore.
Relationships: Kelly King 2.0 - Arch Rival and Fake Twin Championships: 1 FFA Championship
Trivia: Shane Tuu competed in FFA as Kelly King 1.0, and Kelly King 2.0 once competed under a masked gimmick of Shane Tuu, so both men have actually portrayed the other at some point in time.Editor's Notes: So yeah, Kelly King 1.0. What happened with this guy, over time, is that after I introduced 2.0, I had two Kelly King's running around in the comics and it wasn't until a few years later that I decided to retcon it and make it so 1.0 was actually like... a doppleganger business man. This was done because while FFA features a lot of weird oddities and some unoriginal characters, between him, 2.0, and another character, I felt like having... three technical representations of myself was too much. Plus, while the comics were originally for my and my friends own viewing, when I wanted a broader audience to see them, I needed to explain away stupid confusing things like why there were two Kelly Kings on the roster and what their purposes were. So, I renamed 1.0 and changed his backstory a bit, and the character benefited a lot from it. GrifReal Name: Griffon McLane Nickname: "The Mad Scientist" Height/Weight: 6'1'' 230 lbs Alignment: Heel FFA Overall Rating: 89 (94 High 85 Low) Short Bio: Grif has been a main stay in the FFA roster since it's inception, a member of the Original Six, but did not know real success until 2009 when he won the FFA match to become the FFA Champion for the first time. Being one of the only wrestlers to enter an leave an FFA match as the FFA Champion, his accomplishment is often seen as better than Mike Landry's accomplishment since Landry's FFA matches consisted of far fewer wrestlers than Grif's.
He was embroiled with The Monitor in a very emotional storyline which not only saw the Monitor unmasked for the first time but revealed him as Grif's own younger brother. Heterochromia runs in their family.
He is cold and calculating, rather no-nonsense compared to the rest of the FFA roster, having focused very hard on being seen as more than just Shane Tuu or Kelly King 2.0's sidekick. Because of this, he has a very egotistical personality and does not like to be treated as an underling, nor does he like to take orders for long. In the ring, he commonly uses moves that look like one move to start but transition into a different move, making his offense very hard to counter.
Entrance Theme: "Pts.OF.Athrty" - Linkin Park
Signatures: Gory Bomb Canadian Shoulder Breaker Canadian Back Breaker Dropkick Counter to Springboard Attacks Double Underhook into Angel's Wings or Double Underhook Suplex Spinning Headlock Elbow-Drop
Finishers: The OOA (The Out Of Action). Sometimes mockingly referred to as the OON (The Out of Nowhere). (RKO)
Strengths: Technical wrestling, counters, ironman stamina. Weaknesses: Aerial skills across the board, submissions, being a face.
Relationships: Karen - "Co-Op Partner" The Monitor - Brother Championships: 1 FFA World Championship Editor's Notes: Grif, along with one other character, are my longest running original characters in my world, as they pre-date even my own wrestling persona. Grif, specifically, was my very first original Create A Wrestler in the WWE SmackDown! video game series, and sporting his dirty orange armor has been something of a treat to me for years. I'm actually kind of ashamed it took so long for Grif to really hit his own stride in my own comic strips as a wrestler, but as long as he's existed, it wasn't until around the time that I just gave him the FFA title for the sake of giving it to him that his personality really formed up and came to life in my head. It was pretty magical and I adore the character a lot. He's also one of the few FFA characters I've used, briefly, on Gaia. KelseyNickname: "The Devil" Height/Weight: 5'7'' 140lbs Alignment: Face FFA Overall Rating: 81 (90 High 79 Low) Short Bio: Kelsey is the single most successful female wrestler in FFA history, as well as being one of the founding members of the FFA Roster, having competed in every FFA Match to date, and even won one. Kelsey is a consistent face, and while not the best competitor, she is very good at what she does when it comes to multi-man matches, and beloved by fans everywhere she goes. Her finisher, the Medusa's Hammer, has never been kicked out of, due to the fact that it tends to brutally maim everyone she hit's with it.
Kelsey has never really seen as much success as she had the day she ended Michael Landry's FFA match winning streak. That being said, she is a dark horse candidate in most matches and has had a very lengthly and exciting feud with Karen, the Green Goblin to her Spider-man, the Joker to her Batman.
Kelsey is always working on honing her craft and getting better, but usually sticks to the tag team division and FFA Matches, as she knows what her limits are and her singles record speaks for that.
Entrance Theme: "Animals" - Nickelback "Bangarang" - Skillrex (current)
Signatures: Springboard Crossbody Tazzmission Tilt-A-Whirl DDT/Armdrag Shoryuken - Jumping European Uppercut
Finishers: "Medusa's Hammer" - Supernatural Double Axe Handle Whiplash DDT
Strengths: Brawling, popularity, flair. Weaknesses: Basics and psychology.
Relationships: Katie - Tag Team Partner Vash - Former Tag Team Partner 2.0 - Friend/Rival depending on alignment Championships: 1 FFA Championship 2 FFA Co-Op Championships (1 w/ Vash, 1 w/ Katie)Editor's Note: Kelsey is based on a friend of mine, one whom I've drawn a lot of stick figure comedy comic strips with over the course of our long tenured friendship. The FFA comics were a spin off of the comics her and I drew, and it was only natural that she make it into the FFA matches (despite it taking more than 5 years after their inception to actually turn her into a wrestling fan) as the token female wrestler. I've long been a fan of inter-gender wrestling, equal opportunity wrestling, so I made sure to have her capture the FFA title early in it's title history to make that point and give her some legitmacy, but since then I just kind of have her float around on the card, because her finisher is ridiculously overpowered so I don't push her often. Michael LandryNickname: "The Neo-Hurricane" "NHM" Height/Weight: 6'0 245lbs Alignment: Kind of a Jerk FFA Overall Rating: 92 (95 High 87 Low) Short Bio: The seventh man in the original six, Michael, or as he's better known now in G-Fedding, Mike, was an FFA Original with an Unoriginal gimmick as the NeoHurricane. He interrupted the very first FFA match after it had already begun, swooping down and knocking out Grif close to the end of the match, going on to win it. Fighting crime and injustice, Landry won the FFA Championship three times in a row in the first three FFA Matches before being unseated by Kelsey Ward in the fourth. He turned heel against his protege, the Monitor, and beat him within an inch of his life, becoming Michael Landry for the first time in his career, which no one knew would be as long as it was. Landry has yet to ever regain the FFA Championship, but puts on stellar matches as one of the more serious wrestler characters, evolving out of his hurricane rip-off gimmick over time, even though he still wears the cape in FFA.
Entrance Theme: "How A Heart Breaks" - Rob Thomas "Re:Education Through Labor" - Rise Against
Signatures: Hurricanrage (Reverse Northern Lights Suplex) Landslide Slam (Double Chicken wing Lift up facebuster) Eye of the Hurricane (In early FFA only)
Finishers: Heartbreaker (Single underhook double knee gutbuster) Figure of Perfection (Standing American Deathlock)
Strengths: Mat wrestling, flashiness, innovative moves, versatility. Weaknesses: Hubris, His Cape, The Monitor, General Lack of Trustworthiness.
Relationships: 2.0 - On-Again-Off-Again Friend/Rival The Monitor - Arch enemy/protege. Championships: 3 FFA World Championship 1 FFA Co-Op Championship (w/ The Monitor)Editor's Notes: Oh if only I had known that my way of writing Landry into the series (cheap, interference, assholish) would come to define him as a human being both in and out of the ring. Or at least in RP form. Evan was a very good friend of mine growing up so I saddled him with the most ridiculous gimmick I could think of and slapped him into the end of the first FFA match rather haphazardly, and due to the way I write the FFA matches, he ended up winning it. While I don't actually remember awarding him the third FFA match, I don't argue with it at this point since it's been so many years and it doesn't hurt to let him say he's a 3x champion. I refer to the third FFA match as "the forgotten FFA match" because only Landry seems to remember him winning it. S'all good though, inspired the wrestling fever in one of my best friends and unleashed him like an unholy plague on you all so... mission successful. Unoriginal Characters AlertOkay so, the next three are NOT original characters. I felt I should pre-face their entries by saying so. I think there have been a grand total of... seven or eight unoriginal characters to grace the pages of the FFA comics, but only five of them were regulars/mainstays. Two of them are real wrestlers with their in-character qualities hyper exaggerated for the time that they were drawn, while the other three of them were fictional characters from anime/video games that regularly appeared in our non-wrestling comics, and slowly took on a life of their own as giant caricatures. One of them, in particular, has a very unique comedy-driven gimmick. It was a tough decision, whether or not I would include the 5 regulars (having cut the non-regulars from the comics a long time ago) when doing this journal series, but Landry was pretty insistent that I keep a few of them around for their gags, and I was inclined to agree with him because I've been drawing them for so many years that an FFA without them would be an entirely different FFA altogether, especially considering that two of them were part of the original six from when I was a wee fuccboi. On top of that, the fact remains that the 3 unoriginal characters on the roster barely share anything in common with their inspirations, only their names. It would feel just as dumb to rename them as it would to cut them completely, and that is why I just own up to what 15 year old me did instead. Without further ado, the unoriginal members of the Original Six: KaneNickname: "The Big Red Machine" Height/Weight: 7' 326lbs Alignment: Tweener FFA Overall Rating: 85 (87 High 74 Low) Short Bio: Kane is the big red monster and the big red machine. Kane was one of the FFA matches original six, entered in order to give the FFA match even more of a "pro wrestling vibe" while also stick to the basic premise of "kick the s**t out of everything that moves, possible kill or maim targets" that accompanies each FFA match. Kane stuck around following the match, as he was the biggest, largest, most dominant competitor in the original FFA for quite some time, and it would actually be more than a year or so before other wrestlers matching his height would appear and challenge him as the FFA residential monster.
Kane won a tag team championship, as well, with one of his superfans, as most of the FFA wrestlers were, in fact, big fans of wrestling before the comics started to pick up steam anyway, so that was a special moment in his FFA career, besides any comedic moment where he used his magical ability to control his own entrance pyro to set other people on fire.
Entrance Theme: "Slow Chemical" - Finger Eleven
Signatures: Flying Clothesline Sidewalk Slam Dropkick Big Boot
Finishers: Tombstone Piledriver Chokeslam from Hell
Strengths: Power, Fear, The Ability To Control His Entrance Pyro Weaknesses: Slow, Big, Uninventive Strategies
Relationships: [Redacted until further entires] Championships: 1 FFA Co-Op Championship (w/ [Redacted]) Editor's Notes: Okay so, back when I used to RP reals on the forums in Barton Town in 2004, before guilds and before 2.0, I RPed as Edge and Kane. Kane was one of my favorite wrestlers at the time. Hell, he remains one of my favorite parts of the show, even ten years later, so including him feels right. That being said, as I have introduced more and more of my own original characters, Kane has kind of turned into a one joke-competitor over time. I don't really focus on him as much outside of the big battle royals, what with 30 other characters to pick from that aren't unoriginal people. Still, I have a soft spot for the big red monster. Also, yes, it's maskless kane because drawing a mask on him wasn't something I really figured out until later, and I decided to reserve it for another, future wrestler. Besides, Kane was maskless when I started FFA, so I keep him thus to keep him FFA-ish. VashNickname: "The Stampede" Height/Weight: 6'7'' (Although his hair makes him 6'9'') 240 lbs Alignment: Heel FFA Overall Rating: 81 (70 Low 85 High) Short Bio: Vash, known as Vash the Stampede, is straight out of a comic book or television show when it comes to looks, originally the main character of the Anime "Trigun". Women fawn over him, even though ever since his debut, he has been almost always pure evil. Vash is a stalwart Tag Team competitor, one of the greatest in FFA, holding a record 8 Tag Team Championships. Vash is a submissionist, but he's also a coward at heart. Vash debuted in the original six, but really found his stride in the tag team division once he split off from Kelsey and found his real partner in late 2006. Since then, whenever the tag title seem to change hands, they always end up back in the hands of "The Bloody Stampede" before too long, as one of FFA's few legendary and consistent co-op teams. Vash, also, isn't that sound as a stand up fighter in the FFA comics, preferring submissions and mat wrestling.
Entrance Theme: "Black Betty" - Spiderbait
Signatures: Armbar #378 Holds opponent in DDT position, and then turns to clothesline them in the back of the head. Stungun Guillotine
Finishers: Sharpshooter
Strengths: Submissions, His Finisher, Co-Op Wrestling Weaknesses: Not very good on his own, wears sunglasses at night and indoors, weak.
Relationships: Kelsey - Tag Team Partner [Redacted] - Tag Team Partner Championships: 8 FFA Tag Team Championships (1 w/ Kelsey, 7 w/ [Redacted])
Editor's Notes: So, the first of the unoriginal fictional characters. Vash the Stampede was brought into my comic strips based on a need to fill out the first FFA roster. He was originally one of my friend's characters, and she brought him in simply because she was a fan of the show, which I only watched under her suggestion. It's quite good. However, in FFA, he's never ever ever ever acted like his Anime counterpart of the same name. I have instead portrayed him as a rather sniveling coward, and a "not-good-enough" heel wrestler. I always see him as somewhat of a lower-tier member of my singles roster, but I've have had him in a tag team with one of my original characters for a very long time and I adore their tag team to bits and pieces. It makes sense to me to pair the cowardly Vash with someone a little more vicious, and they play off each other well. I'll be talking more about their team in a later entry when I show off the "draft class of 2006-07." Legato BluesummersHeight/Weight: 6'6'' 245lbs Alignment: Tweener FFA Overall Rating: 84 With Hat 98 Without Hat Short Bio: Known by his first name Legato in FFA, Bluesummers is a quiet, dark, brooding character, who while dangerous on his own, is mostly known for his psychopathic outbursts, triggered by a very specific event. While he competed in the very first FFA match, he found his niche later on with a very specific character change: the addition of a hat.
Yes, Legato performs with his hat on, and if at anytime it is lost, he flies into an unfathomable fury, becoming nearly invincible as he ruins the lives and hopes of winning of all wrestlers in the nearby vicinity. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, he has not been successful as a wrestler as far as wins go, because when he flies off the handle, other wrestlers tend to gang up on him to put him down. Still, he is a feared and respected member of the FFA roster.
Entrance Theme: "Destiny" by Syntax
Signatures: Single Arm Back Body Drop Running Powerslam Gutwrench Suplex Sidewalk Slam
Finishers: Luminaire (Fireman's Carry Double Knee Gutbuster)
Strengths: His Hat Weaknesses: His Hat
Relationships: Sephiroth - Occasional Co-Op Partner Championships: 1 FFA Tag Team Championship (w/ Sephiroth) Editor's Notes: The third of the unoriginal characters in FFA, Legato is probably my favorite one. While, yet unrevealed, unoriginal character has more character development and success than he does, Legato is just fun and hilarious and I enjoyed every instant drawing him and his comedy. When he was first in the FFA matches, he was literally nothing more than a body taking up space and hits. But I found myself needing a character with mystique, so I took the Undertaker's cowboy hat and put it on Legato. And then I decided that any time Legato's hat were knocked off, I would draw him as an unfathomable psychotic monster who ripped people apart until being eliminated. The comedy was very successful with my readers, and so Legato has remained since, an even further cry from his original anime character than Vash was. Both are from Trigun, both originally drawn by my friend, but I'm happy I used them anyway. So that's it for the seven wrestlers in the "Original Six." The next entry will include the next set of wrestler's introduced to FFA in 2005 and early 2006, and will be a little shorter. It will also include the last two of the unoriginal characters, one a real life wrestler and another a character from one of my favorite video games. I highly encourage people to guess who the real life wrestler is, the answer may shock you. Feel free to comment on the presentation of the profiles as well. What do you like? What do you not like? Do you want to know more? Do you want to see less? What can I fix what can I not? Please involve yourself in the discussion. I'm doing the journal for me, but I'm still interested in hearing your reactions.

So I said this update would have less profiles in it but as I am writing it I think it's going to have roughly the same amount, because the first expansion after The Original Six was large so that I would have more people to work with in the FFA matches, also shortly after this expansion I started doing 1 on 1 and 2 on 2 matches. (Previously having only been doing FFA matches with the cast.) This update should feature the last two of the unoriginal characters, and then it's all OCs all the time from then on out. Let's start with some more original goodness. The Monitor Real Name: Forrest McLane Height/Weight: 6'1'' 215lbs Alignment: Face FFA Overall Rating: 88 (81 Low 94 High) Short Bio: The Monitor appeared originally in FFA as "NeoHurricane" Michael's side kick in fighting crime in the war for, as he puts it often and loudly, "JUSTICE." The Monitor's biggest break though, came when he accidentally eliminated Landry in the FFA Match that he would go on to win, causing Landry to turn on his partner and protege in a bid to regain his title. Monitor was the first person to defend the FFA title outside of an FFA match, to his credit. He was unmasked in a feud with his brother, Grif, but has since put his goggles back on in the name of eternal Justice.
In more recent times, The Monitor claimed the brand new FFA Next Gen Championship, becoming the first champion in dramatic fashion at the end of a tournament. The finals of which could have gone very very poorly for long-time FFA fans had it gone the other way.
Entrance Theme: "Out of Control" - Hoobastank
Signatures: Multiple kicks to the chest. Dropkick to the knee. Flying Forearm Jumping Clothesline Top Rope Bulldog (Either Pulling Opponent Off Top or Jumping Off Top with Opponent)
Finishers: Shining Wizard (Multiple Variations) [x] [x]
Strengths: High flying athleticism, fan adoration, awesome hair. Weaknesses: Too trusting, rather dumb, white bread baby face.
Relationships: Griffon McLane - Older Brother Michael Landry - Mentor (Excommunicated) Championships: 1 FFA World Championship 1 FFA Co-Op Championship (w/ Mike Landry)Editors Note: The Monitor has a character design based on a comic I drew with my friends waaaay back before I got super into wrestling and I created his character to be Landry's S.H.I.T. counterpart to complete the Hurricane Helms motif for Landry. I later retconned Monitor to be Grif's brother, having not originally planned that but it was a good evolution for the characters. Landry just... really hates the Monitor, and since the Monitor is actually really cool, that speaks a lot for Landry's character in and out of FFA. Vince CaputoNickname: "The LTL Threat" "The Speed Bump" Height/Weight: 5'5'' 165 lbs Alignment: Face FFA Overall Rating: 91 (85 Low 95 High) Short Bio: Vince is the smallest wrestler on the FFA Roster and also one of the most exciting. He has seen a lot of development over the years in comparison to some of the other wrestlers, and has even been to the top of the mountain a few times, without ever actually capturing the FFA Championship. His size disadvantage is usually not spoken of against most wrestlers as he can out perform almost anyone bigger than him. The only time he struggles is when he faces off against giants like Delta, whom has been known as the sole purpose Vince has never held the FFA title, having been directly involved in all but his early his losses.
Vince competed with Kelly King 2.0 in the first ever FFA Ladder Match for a #1 Contendership, in a losing effort.
Vince is one of the only FFA Wrestlers to have appeared in Gaia Federations, such as WWE:U, but never saw much success.
Entrance Theme: "Colors" - Crossfade
Signatures: RnB - Running Neckbreaker/Running Cutter Kayekoa Device - Senton Rolling Thunder One-handed Facebuster Leaping Neckbreaker Big Man DDT (Tilt-A-Whirl Inverted DDT Counter)
Finishers: ASAI DDT Swanton Bomb
Strengths: Speed, agility, acrobatic skills. High flying attacks. Daredevil. Deceptively strong. Weaknesses: Short, very short, a tiny thing. Light weight, easy to toss around. Dare devil tactics can backfire.
Relationships: James Caputo - Younger Brother Kelly and Wes King - Cousins Championships: 1 FFA Tag Team Champions (With Kelly King 2.0 as Freakishly 2.0)Editor's Note: Vince is a big time cruiserweight in my fictional universe and I've always had a really big attachment to his development, perhaps a little more so than some of my other characters, due to his character being a creation of my cousins for the express use in my fictional federations. I've even used him a couple of times on Gaia but never stuck with it like my own personal OC's. His momentum and overall have always been a little higher than others, he's never had a really had a low momentum. MarxNickname: "Superkick Sheriff" Height/Weight: 6'1'' 220lbs Alignment: Face FFA Overall Rating: 87 (84 Low 97 High) Short Bio: In FFA, Marx is the host with the most kicks to the face. Marx, a character introduced to the FFA in 2006, has been kicking his way into people's lives for a very long time. The only person to retain the FFA title in an FFA match (Landry won the title three separate times in a row but wasn't considered champion in between the matches), Marx is a fan favorite, who often interferes in matches when people cheat, calling himself the Superkick Sheriff, nailing the offending party with a superkick. He also equips himself with claws for no DQ and FFA matches, which have created many violent and hilarious situations, often changing hands between participants. The legality of them is questionable, and they are likely responsible for the most FFA Match Eliminations to date.
While the Monitor was the first person to defend the FFA title in a one on one match, Marx was the first one to be truly successful with the practice, and he specialized a lot in taking on multiple competitors at once. With his kicks and his claws, he has always been a main event caliber match competitor.
Entrance Theme: "Sugar Tunes Numa Numa" - Balan
Signatures: Flying Reverse Elbow Electric Chair Drop (forwards and backwards variations) Back Suplex Splinter - Swinging leg hook fireman's carry slam
Finishers: Superkick Dream Drop - Widowmaker
Strengths: Instant finisher, claws, big match Marx, battle royale situations. Weaknesses: Rather poor grappler, kind of stale character
Relationships: Kelly King and Shane Tuu - Arch Rivals Championships: 2x FFA Champion Editor's Notes: Marx, NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH MARXX. I actually used this character in the original Gaia FFA well before I met Marxx, possibly before Marxx even debuted haha, but ever since I met Marxx, I stopped using Marx on Gaia for obvious reasons. There may or may not have been a legal settlement. Marx, over time, hasn't evolved like some of my other characters who have been around for longer than 9 years. Because of this, his best days may be behind him, or he may need to turn heel before I can find a good way to continue expanding on him and using him, keeping him fresh. We'll see! Karen JeremeyNickname: None Height/Weight: 5'6'' 155 lbs Alignment: Heel FFA Overall Rating: 76 (70 Low 85 High) Short Bio: Karen is a comedy foil character for Kelsey, an evil version of her. She is a vicious fighter, but has never really amounted to anything inside of the squared circle as far as success goes. She is a very promiscuous character as well, confident in her ability to seduce male and female alike. Most of the wrestlers dislike her. Her feud with Kelsey is legendary in FFA, the two having been in many knock out and drag out fights. FFA matches rarely involve the two of them for more than a few moments, one usually cannot coexist in the same place as another.
Entrance Theme: "Toxic Faint" - Britney Spears mash-up
Signatures: Poison Mist (Green) Eye Rake followed by Back Rake Scorpion Crosslock Standing Body Scissors
Finishers: The Pedigree
Strengths: Physical strength, possible latent psychic abilities. Weaknesses: Long hair used against her a lot, not particularly talented in singles competition, can't beat Kelsey clean.
Relationships: Grif - Tag Team Partner Kelsey - Arch Rival Championships: None Editor's Note: While I maintain that most of my characters can beat any other character on any given night, Karen is not one of the characters I have focused on in my 10+ history of fan theory booking my shows. She's kind of a filler character at her worst, and a plot device at her best. I think that most rosters need a few of these people, and I strive to make them interesting, hence why Karen has such a blood feud with a more important member of the roster, which I am sure will rear its head once more soon. Okay! Let's get the last two unoriginal characters out of the way now that we have a moment to breathe and show them off. As my last post said, these are the last two unoriginal characters that I used in my original comics. One of them is a fictional character from a video game. These tend to pop up every so often in FFA as cameo appearances, but this one has been a main event level competitor for a long time (because he couldn't be anything else.) The other one is a real wrestler with his gimmick exaggerated for comedic effec-- KENNEDY Mr. KennedyHeight/Weight: 5'6'' 155 lbs Alignment: Heel FFA Overall Rating: 84 (77 Low 85 High) Short Bio: Mr. Kennedy, the a*****e, made his FFA debut not long after he made his WWE one. The gimmick of the microphone coming from the rafters had been one that fit in very very well in FFA, to an excruciating extent. Kennedy, since his FFA debut, has been involved in several memorable moments in FFA Comic history, such as his name taking up an entire page, the wait between him announcing himself and saying repeating his announcement taking ANOTHER page... As well as one event that he wishes he could forget entirely, but we shall save that summary for another profile.
Kennedy, as an actual professional wrestler, is often characterized as being frustrated by losing to others, while also not quite comprehending how physics and death, or lack thereof, operate. Because of his reliance on "reality", Kennedy struggles to succeed, but he is still quite the entertainer.
Entrance Theme: "Turn Up The Trouble" - Airbourne
Signatures: Swinging neckbreaker Bicycle kick to kneeling opponent Kitchen Sink Feint Roundhouse Enzuigiri
Finishers: Mic Check (Reverse STO) Green Bay Plunge (Super Rolling Fireman's Carry) Repeat As Necessary (Rolling Fireman's Carry) (FFA Only)
Strengths: Entertaining, hilarious, familiar Weaknesses: No understanding of out of the ordinary things.
Relationships: None of note. Championships: None.Editor's Notes: ... Kennedy! I was, and am, a big fan of Kennedy and I always saw him as a bit of a missed opportunity when he left WWE. Ironically, he is kind of a missed opportunity in FFA as well, as he basically just floats around as filler and mostly only appears in FFA matches themselves, not doing a lot of one on one matches. I guess he was on a part-time schedule before being on a part-time schedule was the cool thing to be on! Still, I kept him in this version of FFA because Landry thought it entirely necessary just for one joke. I also wanted to be faithful to my roster, and to ignore his and Kane's existence would take a lot of patch work and retconning I'm unwilling to do. Even more so in this next guy's case... SephirothNickname: "The One Winged Angel" Height/Weight: 6'7'' 250lbs Alignment: Tweener FFA Overall Rating: 95 (89 Low 99 High) Short Bio: Sephiroth is serious god damned business. A megalomaniac with delusions of grandeur and a psychopathic appetite for power, Seph has been known even to make his entrances as grandiose as possible by entering outdoor arenas from the inside of a falling rock. No one really knows how this rock is delivered. Sephiroth debuted early in FFA's history, but hit his stride of success when he won FFA VII, ironically his number, albeit in a controversial fashion involving a rather Dusty finish.
Sephiroth, while technically hyper evil, is quite often cheered when he goes up against other heel wrestlers. He does not often like to touch people with his hands, and has fought several matches with his arms crossed, using only his legs and mobile footwork. However, once he starts using his arms, matches become something else entirely.
And god help anyone who makes him bust out his sword.
Entrance Theme: "One Winged Angel Advent" - Nobuo Uematsu
Signatures: Double-Handed Chop Uppercut to a Bent Over Opponent Masamune (Hook Kick) Handspring Elbow Octaslash (Four chops alternating hands, two kicks to the chest, followed by a kick to the back of the head and then a punt to the head or chest in quick succession) Hilting Suplex (Falcon Arrow)
Finishers: Meteor Drop (Scissors Kick)
Strengths: Power overwhelming, god-like in ways. Gigantic ******** sword. Weaknesses: Ego. Reacts poorly to being called a mama's boy. Strangely susceptible to roll ups.
Relationships: Legato - Occasional Tag Team Partner Championships: 1 FFA World Championship 1 FFA Co-Op Championship (w/ Legato) Editor's Note: So the main villain of one of my favorite video games found himself shoved into my comics as a young boy just like the two anime characters did and over time he just kind of overstayed his welcome, evolved, and took on a character that was... similar to his base material at it's core, but at the same time entirely bastardized. I'm not really ashamed of it, lol, I was young and stupid. I ******** love his moveset and characterization though, and I'm happy to continue using him. So thats the five unoriginal characters. All the others, and there are plenty more characters mind you, will be originals. The next post will include the six wrestlers I refer to as the 2007 expansion, featuring the single most successful wrestler in FFA bar none, even more successful than Matt Shanahan's US title run! Should have that post up this wek.

The 2006/2007 Draft ClassThe next six profiles belong to the six people I brought in near the end of 06, beginning of 07, well before the 07 FFA Match. Of the six of them, two of them are very seriously main characters, steeped in FFA lore and history, while the other four are varying degrees of midcard. Little did I know when I brought these six in that I would be introducing FFA to a reign of terror like none that they had ever known. An important thing to note is that this is the first entry that is out of chronological order. There are a few characters that were introduced prior to these six that have not yet been profiled. I am packing a few of them together for thematic reasons. Enjoy this entry!~ JonathanNickname: "The Bloody" Height/Weight: 6'3'' 232 lbs Alignment: Heel FFA Overall Rating: 87 (80 Low 87 High) Short Bio: Jonathan is an avid tag team specialist, having won the FFA Tag Team Titles with his partner, Vash, a staggering seven times, much more than any other team in existence. Jonathan, as a man, is very sinister, and his actions have a vampiric twist to them, including his sharpened canines which glint when he smirks. He constantly uses the Red Mist as a signature attack to set up for his finishing kick to the head or impaling DDT. Jonathan and Vash have, together as the Bloody Stampede, run the tag team division for years and their dominance doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.
Another character that has actually seen some action in Gaia Federations, Jonathan was known for being equally despised by both factions during the GWF vs Twisted Flow storyline, despite being a part of the invading GWF. He also won and held the FFA Championship during this period, but Gaia won FFA titles do not count here.
Entrance Theme: "Paint It Black" by GOB
Signatures: Red Mist (Possibly Blood?) Impaler DDT Bloodshot (Full Nelson to Reverse STO) Aneurysm (Inverted Unprettier)
Finishers: Buzzsaw Kick
Strengths: Creepy as fuq, tag team wrestling, tables. Weaknesses: Tanning salons, holy symbols, anemic.
Relationships: Vash - Tag Team Partner Championships: 7 FFA Tag Team Championships (7 w/ Vash the Stampede) (Current) Editor's Notes: Starting strong here, Jonathan is the tag team professional of my nightmares. Together with Vash, forming the Bloody Stampede, I have ******** loved their tag team since I incepted it randomly and based it on a darker and edgier Brood. No pun intended. Jonathan also is my way of seeing the Poison Mist used in wrestling more, because it is criminally underused nowadays in North America. Kimmi WikkchadNickname: "The Emo Chyld" Height/Weight: 5'7'' 155lbs Alignment: Heel FFA Overall Rating: 77 (77 Low 86 High) Short Bio: Kimmi started her career in FFA as a backstage interviewer, but after a short time of watching everyone in the company basically be shitty at their jobs, Kimmi decided she should give it a shot, quoting "any idiot could do this." She wasn't entirely wrong, as she showed an aptitude for it, but came to find that the reason people were shitty at their jobs was usually because someone else was trying to keep them down. She had a spectacular feud with Kurast in early 2010 to highlight her career thus far. Returning to the role of backstage interviewer and occasional member of the commentary team, Kimmi, every so often, itches to lace up the boots and get back in the ring.
Entrance Theme: Laid To Rest - Lamb of God
Signatures: Neck Bite Hair Pull Mat Slam Dragon Twist Final Cut
Finishers: Tombstone Piledriver Cartwheel Elbow Drop
Strengths: Natural skill Weaknesses: Still really green due to inconsistency.
Relationships: Shane Tuu - Tag Team Partner Championships: None Editor's Notes: The first entry in the 2006-07 Expansion set is Kimmi who had appeared in the comics prior to her in ring debut sporadically as a backstage interviewer, like the person depicted in the profile to follow. They were originally conceived to just kind of be background noise and facilitate backstage jokes with relative ease when I started to string matches and events together rather than just simply having giant battle royales. Kimmi isn't one of the characters I really have high design for which is why I don't always have her actually wrestling. KatieHeight/Weight: 5'11'' 160 lbs Alignment: Face FFA Overall Rating: 82 (74 Low 87 High) Short Bio: Katie was brought in during the 2007 talent initiative that saw many other members of the roster introduced. Katie has been one of the least successful members of that particular drafting class, having not done much of importance except for a single tag title win with her tag team partner Kelsey. Despite this, she is known for being the tallest female on the roster, and the second strongest, behind Karen. She also has an extremely creepy obsession with real-life wrestler Kane, which has caused her to tag with him and emulate some of his moveset from time to time. Her dreams were finally realized when she actually won a tag team championship with Kane in FFA in 2008, although a short lived title reign.
Entrance Theme: "Tourniquet" - Evanesence
Signatures: Several Kicks to the Face of a Bent Over Opponent Chokeslam Leg Drop Reverse DDT
Finishers: Flying Clothesline (Sometimes Springboard Variations)
Strengths: Tall, strong, acrobatic finisher Weaknesses: Long a** hair can backfire.
Relationships: Kelsey - Tag Team Partner Kane - Tag Team Partner and Obsession Championships: 2 FFA Tag Team Championship (1 w/ Kelsey, 1 w/ Kane) Editor's Notes: It was probably around 2013 when I was inventing Kayla King and the House Our Father Built when I realized that a lot of my females, and characters in general, have K as the first letter of their names. Katie is based on one of my friends, like Vince and Kelsey and Landry. She, actually in fact, does have an obsession with Kane so I worked that into her storylines in the comics to keep her reading while we were going to school together. KurastNickname: "The Enforcer" Height/Weight: 6'5'' 270 lbs Alignment: Face FFA Overall Rating: 89 (86 Low 90 High) Short Bio: Kurast was brought in as a member of the 2007 new talent draft for FFA and has flourished in both the comics and as a member of the Gaia E-Feds, having held the FFA Championship in the latter (which doesn't count in the real records sadly for his title history. xd ) Kurast is an unpracticed wrestler, a brawler by definition, with almost no style. He hurts and he cleans up after others, but he is as loyal as a dog.
Kurast has been involved in several violent encounters with several FFA roster members, both ones that have been around longer than he, and ones that came after. However, his most infamous moment in FFA history came when in a post-match interview in the men's lockerroom, it was revealed that a vertical censor bar was required to properly keep him modest for PG television. Also, one time, Mr. Kennedy's microphone was accidentally replaced with this vertical censor bar, and the thing it was hiding of course, causing Kennedy to lose his nerve when he realized what he was holding.
This is the entire reason Landry wanted me to keep Mr. Kennedy around.
Kurast is currently riding a large wave of momentum.
Entrance Theme: "End of Heartache (THE GOOD VERSION.)" - Killswitch Engage
Signatures: Chop Block Spinning Suplex and Spinning Fisherman Suplex Backhand After Opponent Dodges A Punch Wolf Pack - Backpack Stunner
Finishers: The Gore Key Drop - (Fisherman Driver)
Strengths: Strong, stiff, brawler. Like running into a brick wall. Weaknesses: No technical skills to speak of, even less acrobatics.
Relationships: Kelly King - Best Friend Agent Ricky - Advisor, friend, tag team partner. Proto - Arch Rival Championships:None Editor's Notes: Kurast is actually named after a city in Diablo II, I think. I say I think because one of my friends actually named him and it wasn't until a few years later that I played Diablo II Lords of Destruction and discovered this. I've never asked my friend about it. The avatar depicted above is also a more medieval version of Kurast, but he does often wrestle with a hooded cape or hooded sweatshirt on. I wouldn't touch it if I were you. AmbrosioNickname: "Agent Ricky" Height/Weight: 6' 215 lbs Alignment: Face FFA Overall Rating: 83 (77 Low 84 High) Short Bio: Agent Ricky, as he is known in FFA, is a perpetually sut clad government(?) agent, wrestling in slacks and jacket and all, complete with a set of square sunglasses that never leaves his face. As part of the 2007 talent draft, he is a submission specialist with a knack for athleticism. Likely the best pure athlete in FFA, Ricky has not seen much success in the promotion, constantly fighting losing battles for other people. Also, no, no one knows how Ambrosio shortens to Ricky, but people don't tend to give him a hard time for it since he can basically wrestle circles around almost anyone on the roster.
Entrance Theme: "Spookshow Baby" - Rob Zombie
Signatures: Springboard Kick to the Face Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors Tilt-A-Whirl Armbar or Armbar Slam Indian Deathlock
Finishers: Figure Four Leg Lock Walls of Jericho Ambrosio
Strengths: Athleticism, wrestling in a suit is hard, arguably the best submissionist in FFA Weaknesses: Not innovative, no good and improv.
Relationships: Kurast - Employer and Friend. Tag Team Partner. Championships: Editor's Notes: If Submissions played a bigger role in early-day FFA, I have a feeling Ricky would have gone further and done more than he had by this point. There was always a bit of a rush when he would show up on screen but his evolution as a character has brought him no where close to the dance in the past several years, always chasing things that just didn't work out for his character. He was one of my attempts, though, to make submission wrestling more viable in my comics. Joshua MadwallNickname: "Mad World" Height/Weight: 6'3'' 238 lbs Alignment: Heel FFA Overall Rating: 88 (88 Low 99 High) Short Bio: In FFA, Joshua is, without a doubt, unarguable, indisputably the single most successful man to have come out of the 2007 talent draft for one single reason; he won the FFA Inferno title in the first FFA Inferno match. And has never. Ever. Lost it. Having held the title since 2007, Joshua is the longest reigning champion in FFA history. How?
By being the biggest cheater on the planet. Rivaling even the "dirtiest player in the game", Joshua has consistently cheated himself to wins since the beginning of his career. Rarely winning clean, even during his face turn, he simply out-cheated the heels as soon as they cheated against him. Another issue is that as Inferno Champion, Joshua has the right to invoke Trial By Fire before and during his title defenses, which means that his title defense adds inferno stipulation, and lighting your opponent ablaze becomes a viable way of winning the match. Joshua has done this several times to retain his championship in nefarious ways, most infamously in 2013 when Vince Caputo was in midair for the swanton bomb and Josh threw a molotov cocktail at his back.
At this stage, almost nine years into his title reigns, fans have started to boo him again and are totally against everything he does. It was such a desperate situation that in 2015, when Shane Tuu introduced the FFA Next Gen Championship and Josh made it all the way to the finals, fans feared the worst. Luckily, he was defeated by the Monitor in the final round for the Next Gen title, and the fans collectively breathed a sigh of relief.
Entrance Theme: "Without Me" - Eminem "Rap God" - Eminem (2015)
Signatures: All the Low Blows Spitting on a Downed Opponent Throat Thrust Snapmare Driver Electric Chair Faceplant
Finishers: Defending My Title - Forward Russian Legsweep Blaze Of Glory - Last Ride
Strengths: Perfect title defense record, 9+ years of morale and momentum, the best cheater who ever existed. Weaknesses: Let the FFA Roster know when you figure that s**t out.
Relationships: Pretty much no one at this point likes Josh. Championships: 1 FFA Inferno Championship (Current and Only)Editor's Notes: The midcard title may actually be more prestigious than the main event title in FFA simply due to my accidentally forgetting to remove the belt from Josh after about four years of him holding it. I think the rest of the 2007 draft class suffered from this, honestly, as I had originally intended to pass it amongst them to build them all up, but here we are nine years later with but one champion to the titles name. His change in theme music this year was, obviously, very thematic. I will probably power straight through this post and post some more profiles today. The next set will probably be a little shorter and profile some of the monsters that exist in my universe. Some conventional... some... very... not conventional.

FFA's Monster BrigadeAlright, now that the hibernation is complete, we can get back to work on some of these character profiles for the upcoming shows of FFA. Today we will be, as I said in October, highlighting the various monsters, giants, and in some cases literal creatures that FFA has collected into it's ridiculous clutches over the years. Some will be prototypical muscle busters. Others, however, such as our first one, will be quite a different story, highlighting the type of universe FFA exists in. One of ridiculousness and comedy, where Pro Wrestling is key. (Image Not Final) FlintHeight/Weight: 6'9'' 285lbs Alignment: Heel Short Bio: Flint is a mysterious creature, who's origin is unknown but clearly not of this world. His physiology only semi-human, his skin a deep blue, he originally came to FFA as an alien conqueror. After years of failing to take over the world or at least FFA, his rank was stripped of him by his hierarchs, and he has since been even more brutal, wearing dark armor to his matches. This has not made him more successful. He is a less comedic character.
Entrance Theme: "Holy Diver" - KSE (2008-2014)
Signatures: Alabama Slam Sidewalk Backbreaker Belly to Belly Toss of Running Opponent Tilt-a-whirl Slam
Finishers: "Mariana Trench Spike" - Gorilla Press Spinebuster Sapphire Flosion - Celtic Cross
Relationships: None notable Championships: None notable Editor's Notes: Flint is a literal alien creature. It's not a gimmick or anything like that, he is from outer space and a lot of his storylines have everything to do with this. I haven't really done much with him, using him as a filler of a "dragon" archetype in factions and feuds, and I regret that the old avatar creator is so lackluster in really projecting his image accurately. One day I'll find a better reference for him, or perhaps make a better avatar for him. I'm also in search, actively, of a new theme song for him, to get a little more variety in my playlists, but I've not yet discovered the tone for him. ProtoHeight/Weight: 6'10'' 300 lbs Alignment: Heel Short Bio: Proto has been the longest running "monster" character in FFA, having come even before Delta to wreck peoples s**t. His wild hair is his recognizable staple, as is his version of the sit down powerbomb. He was very very close to winning FFA 2009, having had the most momentum throughout the match. Other than that, he's not seen much singles competition, usually only showing up to fight in the FFA Matches.
Entrance Theme: "Symphony of Destruction" - Megadeth (Extended Remix)
Signatures: Pepsi Twist Choke with Knee In The Corner Torture Rack into Spinning Torture Rack Powerbomb TKO
Finishers: Proton Bomb - Sit Down Powerbomb
Relationships: Kurast - Arch Rival Championships: NoneEditor's Notes: Proto, the last surviving vestage of my oldest online username (ProtoWolf) was one of my original character concepts in wrestling, but wasn't used until a little later on. As noted in his profile, I originally was going to have him win the 2009 FFA match but decided on Grif instead near the end of the writing. I like Proto, I like his prizefighter nature, it keeps him unique and separate from Flint's character archetype. He just kind of does his own thing. WARBOT Nickname: It's a robot. Height/Weight: 6'4'' 300 lbs Allegiance: Its programming. Alignment: Its programming. Short Bio: FFA matches are officiated by the standard II Series Referee Robotic Official, REFBOT for short in an attempt to cut down on Ref bumps in FFA. Unfortunately, heels started to tamper with refs in the middle of the matches, and one sad occasion when Grif did so resulted in the ref going on a terrible rampage. After this, the FFA Board of Directors de-commissioned this REFBOT as an official, and then suped it up to be a competitor instead. The REFBOT does not feel pain, and only sells when it's circuits are knocked haywire. It also cannot submit as it is not programmed to do so. The FFA WARBOT is one of the most terrifying things to face down in the middle of an FFA match, if the buzzer goes off and you're all alone with this new entrant.
Entrance Theme: "The Game" - Disturbed (2008 - 2014) "How to Be A Human" - Powerman 5000
Signatures: Megaton Punch - Leaping Punch to the Stomach of Downed Opponent The Big Swing Bullet Time Clothesline Dodge Gorilla Press Drop Out of the Ring
Finishers: Vice Grip Inverted Vice Grip - The WARBOT pulls the opponents skull apart until it splits open and they are dead. Or they tap out. Metalhead - (launches opponent up in the air and headbutts them on their way down OR Flying Headbutt off the corner.)
Relationships: Grif - Accidental Creator Championships: None Editor's Notes: WARBOT highlights certain aspects of FFA I'm really proud of. Gratuitous violence, hilarious gratuitous violence and unrealistic, but creative things, that you can't get in a more grounded wrestling promotion. The Warbot came about as one running joke escalating over and over and over until it finally reached a perfect boiling point. Dark HunterNickname: Off-white (Mockingly) Height/Weight: 6'11'' 350 lbs of pure hatred. Alignment: Heel Short Bio: Dark Hunter is the physical manifestation of everything bad that has ever happened to anyone ever, and all the bad traits of the worst people and events to have ever existed. It is hard to call him a wrestler, as he literally just kills people in matches. His arrival in FFA has been a long time coming, but he has not yet competed. It was last seen during FFA 2012, where it was thrown into a pit of lava, which was then hardened over with liquid nitrogen. The creature can only be contained for so long, however, especially with the villainous personalities that exist in FFA.
Entrance Theme: "Swinging The Dead" - Devil Driver
Finishers: Bone Eater Boot - Running Big Boot Brain Dead - Straight Jacket Brain Buster
Relationships: Seita Gray - Creator Championships: Doesn't Give Two ******** About TitlesEditor's Notes: The third of the monstrous creatures in FFA, and possibly the single most dangerous. Like a lot of the more monstrous people in the FFA roster, Dark Hunter is not as commonly used in storlyines, as he is more of a great equalizer in storylines and FFAs. It was probably the FFA before I "killed off" the hunter that I realized having so many ridiculous equalizers could be overkill sometimes though. Occasionally it's good though. DELTAHeight/Weight: 7' 1'' 340lbs Allegiance: Delta Alignment: Heel Short Bio: Delta's arrival in FFA was a bit of an enigma. Depsite being built like a brick house, he was actually more calm and agile than any of the other large wrestlers in the company. Indeed, he was smarter than them too, using brute force as a compliment to his fast-talking mouth. He has recently singled out Vince in particular as a victim to his violent assaults, making it a personal mission that the smaller man does not win the FFA title before he does.
Entrance Theme: "As Daylight Dies" - KSE (2010 - 2015) "The Vengeful One" - Disturbed (2016)
Signatures: Stalling Chokeslam Twist of Fate Superplex Moonsault (Rarely)
Finishers: Delta Bomb (Texas Tower Bomb)
Relationships: Championships: NoneEditor's Note: Of the monsters in this post, Delta, having shown up on Gaia before, is definitely the star. He is the Bane to the FFA's residential Batmen. An extremely intelligent and belligerent competitor, with athleticism beyond his size. In his younger days he used to be able to springboard and the like, but as time has gone on, his focus has been on his strength. His angle with Vince will likely be one of my FFA launchpads for this website. Our next posting will be looking at some of the lesser sung names in FFA. Jobbers and midcarders, these are the unsung yet still savory characters that help pad out the roster. We're on the home stretch, as there is only 10 faces left to look at, as far as introductions go. With a few other characters yet, the FFA roster is looking stacked, and shows should get involved soon.
