Seriously, it's not what you think I swear.

So as I am kind of slowing my career down a smidge, (read: slowing down, not retiring), less guilds, less feuds, etc, I am going to be trying to direct my creative juices in another direction that relies less on waiting for other people's input and more like something I can create at my own pace. Sometimes I want to create content faster than guilds allow and sometimes I want to create content at the pace of paint drying on the shell of a turtle.

It's just kind of who I am.

Also, I'm twenty-six now and I have a world at my fingertips that I've had in my head for fifteen years that I feel I have been neglecting in favor of Gaia for a long time, and while I often tried to let the two bleed into each other, it never really produced any kind of results the way I wanted them to.

So, in that vein, I will be writing a little bit more, as a side project, about my fictional wrestling company, Free For All Wrestling Entertainment.

Ever since I was a young fuccboi, I have been working and writing ongoing fictional wrestling shows featuring my OC's, and a few special guest stars from games and television shows that influenced me, and in doing so consistently I had created a large world of wrestling over time that I am very proud of. Timeless rivalries, relations, and characters that don't age or retire but evolve over time instead going through a perpetual cycle of combat and drama and, most times, comedy. I did this in many veins, most often through my various stick figure comics that I would draw in school and it was an easy way to get my friends, the wrestling uninitiated, into the idea of pro-wrestling.

My game plan is, firstly, to introduce the characters and backstory/histories of the wrestlers in packs of a few at a time, talk about their strengths and weaknesses, their personalities, what they've been doing in my world over the past several years up to recent times, and then I will start writing the shows. The shows will, for the most part, be written in a summary format, like you might see on a wrestling newsletter or spoiler or dirt sheet; They will be succinct but detailed, while not dedicating too much to any one segment or match, with the exception of special occassions or larger events when I want to emphasize a story or stretch my writing abilities. This is largely to keep myself from burning out and having the ability to focus on what I want to focus on. Some entries will be shorter than others, some will be longer, some will be written like novels, it will be very much just what I want it to be at the time.

Also, it's worth noting that my world exists in a space between spaces. While grounded in reality, there is a ridiculous amount of comedy that takes place and very unrealistic things tend to happen from time to time in my company, such as video game characters making cameos as wrestlers, people being lit on fire or flattened into bloody paste and showing up the next week just fine, and Michael Landry winning. You know, things that don't normally happen, but happen in my world. Specifically there are three characters, who will be introduced later, that are named and based on non-original fictional characters from other mediums that influenced me greatly as a young teen and have survived and evolved into caricatures of their actual selves in a very "fanfiction" sort of way. I'm not bothered by this and will continue to use them because they are tradition to me.

If you've read this part, you may be wondering where you, readers, come in, and the truth is I would like to include the community in my decision making. At first it will be small things like opinions on where I should post these entries or voting on match types or even a Cyber Sunday/Taboo Tuesday event that I have always run called Re:Venge.

Eventually, however, I would like to open up my roster to some of your own characters if you'd like to see how I, in a Vince McMahon sort of way, would book them and run with them in my little world. Obviously, this is something that I would only do with someone's permission, and of course you'd have input and could pull out whenever you wanted, but largely I will write what I want to write otherwise I wouldn't be doing the project.

I've always had the same idea myself at times, but never had the patience to do so. All from actually writing it, to using video games. I would love to read your work.
