Kamakura eyes stared at the human. "You certainly aren't going to carry yourself to the portal...are you?" He added with a roll of his eyes as he crouched down, moving closer to the human. While still only a year one student, the nekomata had jumped through the portal with the intention of doing this to somehow help Halloween. He wasn't really interested in helping this sleeping human, but seeing him so helpless had at least made him stop to try. They certainly looked fairly pathetic, and utterly defenseless. Sighing, Kama rest his chin on top of his knees, still in the crouch he'd put himself in. He slowly wrapped his arms around his knees while he mused over the situation. No matter how much time passed, the human just didn't seem to want to wake up. Kama had noticed that even with physically shaking the other it didn't seem to promote any sort of response. Letting go of his knees he leaned forward, placing one hand on the ground. Reaching out for the human's ankle, he gripped it firmly and gave his leg an experimental tug. Standing up he tried to pull the other taking a step back towards the direction of the portals. With all this fog it'd be hard to find his way back, especially with his strength seemingly failing him. Kamakura grunted in confusion. Dragging the other like this had seemed practical enough at first. Expect it was hard to physically pull at the larger body. The demon's pride made him keep trying to drag him as he had tried to initially, unwilling to compromise. This red headed human also seemed to weigh a bit more than he did. It wasn't like the guy was hundreds of pounds, but the extra 30lbs the guy had on him was enough to make the nekomata struggle which only further complicated matters. Groaning in frustration, Kamakura tried to pull the unconscious body further into the fog. He realized he'd need to change tactics if he wanted to get this done in a timely fashion much to his disgust. "You fat potato of a human, you have so much stuff on you. Ugh. Why did I have to find someone bigger than me first thing?" He muttered to himself, his tail twitching as a physical manifestation of his frustrations. 4 / 10 yards draggedOOC - Rescuer HP: 30/30 Name: Kamakura Meigetsuki Character Journal: ..: biggrin ata::..Faction: Demon/Halloween Suspecies/Division: Nekomata - Y1 Student General appearance: Kamakura stands at around 5'5", and is of slender build. "Fine, lets try it this way." Kamakura let go of the others leg, letting it drop uselessly to the ground below. Moving around behind the human, he slid his arms under the others hoisting him up and began dragging the other. Walking backwards was nerve wracking, he didn't want to run into anymore of those lifeless non-breathing humans that made him feel weird.
This at least made more progress, and he was actually carrying the body at a fairly quick pace through the fog. While out of breath by the time he found the familiar glow of the portal, Kamakura was certain that this would be the last of it. He'd fling his charge in, and go back home in time to catch a few hours of sleep before going to class.
Dropping the body of the unconscious victim on the ground, he rubbed his brow with his jacket sleeve exhaling with a sigh. "Now then...let's get you across, and me home." The young demon added rolling the other like the limp sack of potatoes he'd deemed him to be. Rotten, extra crunching ones at that. He shoved the other into the portal watching as he vanished. Casting a glance back at the foggy terrain he'd come to he didn't look back as he crossed over the portal.
10 / 10 yards dragged!

Whatever hopes he'd had diminished the second his eyes opened once on the other side of the portal. This wasn't home.
Far from it in fact.
What in the Jacking hell was this place? He was somewhere along a long expanse of highway, he must have been somewhere in the Human world still. Everything was still desolate and bleak. As he looked around his surrounding, he noticed his unconscious human still with him. Next he noticed a massive vine covered skyscraper that went on seemingly endlessly. The mere sight of it made his head pound. he did notice how the top of it seemed shattered some how, but couldn't keep focusing on it for long.
Something is wrong.. His nose sniffed the air, trying to detect the disturbance that had prickled the hairs ont he back of his neck. The set of calico colored ears on top of his skull rolled forward. They remained perked, on high alert.
There then was a rumbling, and the whisper of countless voices. They echoed like maddening pins and needles being shoved into his cranium. Simply put, the sight of this creature chilled him to his very core. It wasn't natural, and certainly didn't seem to be made of Fear. What even was this vine tangled mass, the demon struggled to comprehend what he was looking at.

We will consume you and your Fear will be ours.Like hell! Kamakurawasn't going to just curl up and submit. He was stronger than that! When the horse-vine covered thing spoke to him directly, Kamakura remembered yowling in anger, his eyes flashing with the promise of violence. The sensation of it speaking to him had nearly caused him to pass out, but sheer willpower and anger kept him alert. The thousands of tendrils were creatures...from Halloween. There anguished cries and confused panic noised made his heart clench. Their Fear was his own, their loss of identity rattled him worse than anything he'd seen at this point. He was determined not to end up like one of those poor souls now entangled in the weave. Whatever the hell this thing was, it couldn't be allowed to do as it pleased! Someone had to try and stop it. His next angry hissed yowl was followed by his fingers stretching out, calling forth a burst of flames, he held two fireballs near gloved palms. "You won't consume me so easily." He added coldly. "Nor will you have the human! I found it first." He lashed out at the foul beast, although his aim was off and the burst of flames didn't hit it's intended target, any more than the second one did that followed right after it. Well then

Kamakura bared his teeth as he went in for another swing at the creature, throwing another round of flames in it's direction. If he could catch some of those vines on its weird black mass body maybe he could get it to back off. Honestly he was pretty freaked out, most of his fire was just fizzling out before it could actually damage the massive creature.

Moving to try and get a better angle, the demon was attempting to fend the stupid thing off. At this rate, he was going to have to grab his useless human and run. He wasn't about to die to try and keep fighting this thing alone. That was for damn sure. Another fireball went soaring towards the creatures monstrous cage and tangle of vines.

The nekomata was actually pretty ticked off he'd done nothing but miss up until this point. Using a vine from the creature, he used it to jump, climbing up as he aimed for what appeared to be the main connection of screaming vines and tendrils. He sent a silent prayer for the lost, before he clawed aggressively at the dark mass. Calling from his fear reserves he pushed his flames into the creature, seeking to roast it. The thing reared back screaming in anger at him. Kamakura hissed in turn, ears laying back as he went to dodge an incoming vine before it smashed into him.

Another series of floating orbs came scorching towards the cavity of the creature. Kama might have thought the human he found useless, but he was also trying to protect his own self. Kamakura was afraid to be assimilated like those than had obviously fallen before him.

With one more well placed round of flames, the creature actually seemed deterred by his actions. Breathing heavily, he leaned over his knees for a moment before his featured cracked into that of a cocky grin. "Ha! Serves you right!" He called out, his tail fur ruffled from anger. Looking back at his unconscious ward, he moved over to the other and started to drag him again so they could get moving before whatever the hell it was decided it wasn't done with them and came back.

After a little bit of rest, he could sense there was that same disturbing feeling lingering in the air. Shivering he grabbed his dead weight for a charge and dragged him off along down the highway hoping they'd find another portal soon.
This really sucked. As they kept traveling the fog was back with avengence, swirling and twisting all around them. Kamakura felt his body forcibly changed back into the natural feline form. While large for a cat and mostly normal looking, the only real difference was the fact it's tail was split into two near the tip.
The red head he'd been carrying flopped uselessly on the ground. Blinking, the nekomata looked down at himself he tried to will the change back to his human self. It didn't work. Did he say this sucked yet? Because this had Jacking mooshie gooey eyeball gunk written all over it.
Kamakura bit down on the human's sweater and pulled, backing up several steps and pulling him. It was slow going, and wasn't worth the effort. Panic was sweeping in as the skyscraper from earlier erupted into a mass of dark black tangling of vines. Fear made his heart race, pulling a little more on the human's clothing. As they moved down the highway he spied a row of cars. Deciding to give one of the plain, simple metal contraption a look see if maybe there was one he could make use out of.
One of the things he found was literally the weirdest thing the demon had ever seen. It was actually flat, shiny and just...odd. With a bit of effort, spurred on by the panic of the vines from the building and sound of the horse-things voice a whispering grasping force at his mind he was relieved to find the thing had its keys still.
Pushing his foot onto the gas peddle, he yowled in fear as it zoomed forward, extremely fast. For having to carry a useless potato for a human, this sure as Jack made up for it!

The shiny car and his passenger raced down the speed way. While the creature had only briefly been after him, it seemed it was back in full force and rather angry. A warning came up, indicating a portal had just opened near by. Kama would have to be quick about it.
As in slam on the peddle until it was mashed into the floor. The loud car roared with life as he sped, trying his best to hold on with his front paws and peer over the steering wheel. "HANG ON!" Kama screeched, not even caring how fast he drove so long as it was AWAY from what was chasing them. He was pretty damn surprised by how fast this thing went, in no time at all he was already too the portal, on top of the situation with lightning quick results.
(6+4) = 10/10km traveled! (no damage taken!)

There was the portal! Kamakura climbed out of the speedy vehicle, and gave it a grateful pat with his extended paw. He went to pull at the human to try and drag him towards the portal so he could get the hell out of here. However, as his teeth sunk into his pant leg, the human's eyes snapped open. Kamakura stared at the sight of the human’s face draining of all color as he pulled at his leg.
Lennard let out a scream as he pushed with a booted foot at the shadowy thing grabbing for him with its mouth. He kicked and pushed at the thing trying to get away from it. "GET AWAY FROM ME!" The red head yelled, climbing out of the Ferrari he'd somehow woken up in. Had he lost another gap of time like before back at the hospital? Looking around, he saw a weird shadowy horse thing that looked utterly grotesque. Lennard felt his mind swirl with doubt and fear, terrified beyond belief. He didn't even notice the glowing portal the weird shadowy cat thing was pulling him towards. He was freaked out.
Kamakura's ears lay back, hissing at the human as he booted at his face. "You useless jacking moldy brain potato! Don't fight me I'm trying to save you!" The demon snapped as he tried pulling the other back. It was fairly useless; as he tried to pull the human towards the portal he kept fighting him all the more. Surprisingly he fought hard, and was fairly strong for a human.
Lennard didn’t listen, he was freaked out the shadowy cat thing was now talking to him. It was the fog, it had to be it was playing tricks on his mind again! As they fought on for a bit, suddenly a light went out. Looking over, he saw as an area seemed to waver and vanish leaving the area seemingly normal looking.
The nekomata's head turned in the direction of the closed portal, his eyes staring blankly as his jaw dropped open. "I brought you all this way...just to have the portal close?" He couldn't pick up on any communication either. They were stranded now. At least the danger of what had been chasing them was gone, but now he was stuck in the middle of nowhere in the human realm with an idiot who'd kicked him.
Able to shift back into his humanoid shape, he stood before Lennard glaring at the other still laying in the car. "Whatever, I brought you this far, have at it. I'm going to scout around, kick me again and I will burn you human." He hissed, making his point clear before going off to explore and see what he could find in this shitty wasteland.
Lennard could only blink and stare in disbelief, whatever this shadowy thing was it had a lot of attitude, and was about as pissy and foul tempered as Wataru telling off Sawyer on a bad day. It reminded him of his friends, and for the now he at least didn't try and attack the shadow. Whatever this was, it wasn't like the undying or the infected...it claimed to have helped him. Lenny figured it was some weird shadow guide, and was another part of the game. He relaxed as he slowly slid out of his car, for now following the weird creature, half curious what it was exactly. Plus he had to start looking for his companions.
