Titus hadn't gone far from the portal, mostly because walking far involved more work. He just picked the first human he happened to stumble upon. He was supposed to save this sorry meat bag but he really didn't want to touch it. He grumbled tapping the large human with his foot.

Something at the human's side buzzed to life the moment he made contact, crackling and making noise. What was that?

Curious Titus leaned down to investigate and found the radio and drew it up to his face. "What the hell?" It crackled louder making the demon cringe but briefly he could hear a familiar voice over the com. Oh this could be entertaining. With a smile he pocketed it for now and went about hefting the human up to move him. "Jack damnit, this meat bag is heavy."

Titus wasn't that much shorter but this human was broad and dense. There was no way he could pick him up not that Titus truly wanted to. With a sneer he did the next best thing and grabbed hold of the human's leg by his ankle and began to drag him. At least the portal wasn't far. He was still heavy but at least like this he wouldn't have to exert a lot of effort.

Once he had finally dragged the giant to the portal Titus hefted in through it and followed right behind.

What Titus found on the other side of the portal was not what he expected. He was pretty sure they were supposed to be moving these flesh vehicles somewhere safe but this roadway didn't look like is exactly fit the bill. "Merde." This was going to be a lot of walking he had a feeling and it was far from pleasing.

Turning to at least get an idea of where he was going Titus spotted a skyscraper in the distance. It looked like the top of it had been destroyed and he didn't understand why but looking at it was giving him a headache. His head began to throb before he finally turned away hissing a curse under his breath only for his dark gaze to settle on something else.

"What the ******** is that?"

The creature was not unlike a horse in shape but far from one in size. It was huge and Titus had no clue what it was made of. He would have guessed fear at first but getting a better look he knew that wasn't the case.

Taking a step back he dragged his human with him, wavering on the spot as a voice penetrated his mind.

We will consume you and your Fear will be ours.

His brows furrowed forward, teeth bared in a sneer. There was not enough nopes for this situation and he had run out of ******** before he got here. Briefly he contemplated leaving the meat bag here and calling it a day. He wasn't going to risk his life for this.

The longer he hesitated the closer those odd tendrils got and Titus realized soon after that they weren't just tendrils or wisps of smoke but in fact fear of those who had already been consumed. It startled him, more so when he heard the wails and screams of agony. The sounds were similar to what he heard in his head but amplified and much more painfully real.

A surge of power rushed through him as the creature drew closer and for whatever reason Titus reached for his human, hauling him off the ground a little easier than before, and took off though his wings struggled to get him far off the ground. This human was heavy.

He tried to keep ahead of the tendrils and at one point Titus had tried to beat them back but they kept coming, gripping and clawing like needy hands ready to drag him under the tide. There was no logical reason for him to keep his human cargo but he had already gotten him this far.

Quote:
The weirdest car you have ever seen. It is seriously flat, and shiny, and really weird. Oh well, beggars cannot be choosers. The good news is when you press against the pedal it pretty much ZOOMS REALLY FAST AWAY. Humans were meant to do cool things after all! (SPEED VALUE +6).

He couldn't fly anymore, the effort was weighing him down. When he finally set foot back on solid ground Titus dropped his cargo in a heap and looked out over the sea of cars he managed to stumble upon. They were similar to cars in Halloween but he knew they had nothing on his Clara. Each vehicle paled in comparison but they would have to do.

Curiously he reached down to see if this meat bag had anything of use and finally lifted up a set of keys. This looked like it would do. Pointing the key fob out into the masses of steel on wheels he hit the button and saw a pair of lights flash in the distance. With haste he made his way toward the car his eyes lighting up at the sight of it.

"Why hello there..." It was an odd vehicle, low to the ground but sleek and shiny. The paint was done in a dark orange, streaks of black running through it. "Perfect." With a smile Titus hauled his human cargo into the passenger seat and climbed over to the driver side with a grin. Okay maybe he was a little bit excited, it had been a while since he had been allowed to drive his car and he was ready to test this things speed.

The car had roared to life the moment Titus turned the key. It made a wicked grin pull at his lips, eyes set out over the open highway. Okay, so running for you life not all that great but this....this was awesome.

He kicked the car into gear and the wheels screeched as they fought to find purchase before the car took off at high speeds. It handled like a dream taking turns with ease as his zipped down the highway maneuvering around the other cars that were basically standing still.

"Ahahaha, this is actually fun." Now he was actually glad he had come, minus the whole scary creature in the background bent on eating him. Speaking of which....

Titus glanced in the rear view mirror and saw that the creature was looming closer. He sneered at the warning label 'Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear'. Not for long.

Titus kept driving feeling the portal up ahead. They weren't far now, it would only be a matter of seconds. The large looming horse was left in the distance so he had some time. He could relax, though he wished he could spend a little more time driving this human vehicle.

When he was finally within range of where he needed to be Titus brought the car to a sliding halt, drifting sideways into a stand still and leaving streaks of rubber in his wake. "Hahaha well, this has been and exciting day." And his job was almost over, all he needed to do now was get his meat bag through the portal.

If only plans worked out so simply.

Titus walked around the car and began to haul his human up to drag him to the portal but as he took hold of an arm the giant man began to stir. As soon as he laid eyes on Titus the man had shrieked in terror and began to fight, thrashing and kicking to gain some distance.

"Stop.....fighting me.....you stupid....human." Titus struggled to get the upper hand but what little time he had gained while driving was suddenly lost. The battle with his human, who turned out to be surprisingly strong, lasted long enough that by the time Titus had knocked him out again the portal closed before he could get to it. When the demon finally noticed he stood staring at where his escape was supposed to be. Now what was he supposed to do?!?!

"Merde!"
