[ OUTSIDE- AT THE SHED ] (EMOTION: MADNESS) All your senses scream at you not to approach this shed. It is locked. A loud wailing voice continues to knock against the rusted chains of the shed. Hands, multiple, long hands, attempt to slide out from it. A sign crudely painted on the shed says [ INFECTED INSIDE - DO NOT APPROACH ]

MOB SUMMON
[ MOB NAME] YOUR SHADOW MOB HP: 15 HP Mob Autodamage: It only attacks back when you attack it, doing the SAME damage to you as you did to this mob. For instance, if you roll and do 5 damage, it will do 5 damage to you. This applies to everyone attacking it. Mob Special Ability: This looks exactly like you do. Who it takes the form of is the person who "summoned" ie: rolled it. It is able to talk and mimic the identical actions of you, the only difference other than it being much, much more sinister and sadistic is that it is also semi-transparent, fading to grey, around the edges. Other than that there is no difference between you and this apparition. Mob Loot: Roll 1d4 to see what you get: 1: Junkyard five card: (http://halloween.thesporkedken.com/loot/card_5.png). Add to journal and use here 2: Junkyard six card: (http://halloween.thesporkedken.com/loot/card_6.png). Add to journal and use here 3. A potato on the minis site. Redeem it here! 4. Bottled water on the minis site. Redeem it here!
She flinched a little at the reprimand. It had been too easy to dehumanized these creatures before she had to add that in. "There's nothing there anyway," Taysia pointed out. "We're doing them a favor." Right? There was no way these things were going to remember getting hurt.
As for the cards, well. "I think Joker mentioned something about poker," she answered with a shrug. "I dunno. Loot is loot, right?"
"We're doing you a favor."
Another of the shadows emerged from the fog, but that wasn't what caused Taysia to start; it was the fact that it sounded exactly like her that peeved her off.
"Oh come on, now they can talk??" she asked incredulously as she brought out her shovel and flashlight in a combo that let their opponent be dazzled long enough to hit it square in the jaw. (Maybe those could break too, see how IT liked it.)
Rajni had to admit that although she didn't prefer violence, the more she fought these undead the better she felt. Not physically or emotionally but ... more sane somehow. Grounded, better able to approach situations rationally. Sanity.
The junkyard then? She'd have to keep that in mind if she got any of these cards. Better to have information than not, she supposed.
"We can talk about it later," she said quickly, moving towards the creature, crowbar first. She raised it over her head and brought it down; the creature moved at the last moment, but Rajni at least got a hit in. She scowled at the movement, annoyed by its disobedience.
Then it spoke and Rajni's face fell, only for a moment. They could talk? Did that mean they were capable of-
No. No, she told herself. It was a trick of the mind. Nothing more. Nothing more.

Was something going on with Rajni? Taysia had started noticing lately that she was zoning out more than usual. Maybe it was just breathing in too much fog (God knew she had been more than nauseated earlier), but it wasn't like her to space out that much.
But like she said: they could talk later.
"Getting some practice in for later?" the shadow asked Rajni with a bitter and jagged smile. "You're just using me anyway, why not?"
Rajni's mouth twisted in a thin line of annoyance. The fact that these things could talk made it far more complicated to just off them and be done with it.
"Ignore it," she told Fantasia shortly, driving her crowbar into the heart of the creature. It slumped to the ground and twitched for a moment; Rajni put her boot on the creature's back and tugged, pulling the crowbar free from its confines.
Ignoring was the best they could do right now.

She couldn't help but grimace this time, though thankfully she was behind Rajni when she did so.
"Jeez, what the hell..." Taysia couldn't even laugh as she grabbed a potato off its corpse. "We ever find out who's behind this, I'll knock them senseless with this damn shovel, I swear."

Rajni had many thoughts on such a remark (there was no person behind it, it was vines, we're never getting out, etc.), but all she chose to say was, "Hit them once for me."
She bent down over the corpse and pulled a small 6 card from his back pocket. "Look, another of the mysterious cards~" She tucked it into her own back pocket, hoping that it would bring them better luck than whatever this guy had gotten.
