OOC: SCENARIO 5 Scenario requirements:You're not too sure how, but your character has fallen asleep. If you are in a group with multiple people, each person just dreams a separate dream. As a mix-up, optionally if you are in a group, you can have one of the people be the VICTIM in your dream if you wish (or victims!) You are aware you are asleep, but nothing you do will wake yourself up in this dream. You walk along the dream, and are forced into multiple unwilling scenarios. In the first, you are chasing someone with a weapon of choice down a long hallway, and they beg you to stop. In the second, you turn a hallway, and see them hiding in the room. You can hear them breathing and drag them out from their hiding spot. In the third you raise your weapon against the victim. As you wake up you realize it was all a dream, and you are sweating intently. Your hands however, are covered in blood. (If a player is RPING the victim, when they wake up they take -10 damage, and are bleeding at [random location ], otherwise make up a bloodied, unconscious victim) When the event is over, add +10 infection to your character's infection meter. Characters involved: Juliette Carver Extra effect: Have flashlight ~

She had sat against that wall longer than expected. Perhaps too tired out from the panic that had shook her whole body from the hallucination of infection. So much was weighing on the older woman's mind, so much trial put on her body. She had always been an active and fit sort, but even this was pushing her to some limits. Falling asleep seemed rather natural.
But what didn't was the sensation she felt, that weird sort of limbo of being caught in the dream and being awake. When you knew you were still asleep but your mind was still working and churning and processing.
"Wake up," her voice felt weak, a feeble attempt to get her actual body to startle and wake. But even here she was tired.
She pinched her arm next hoping pain would trigger her brain and pull her from this state of being. But that too didn't work. Would she have to jump off the roof? How she hoped it wouldn't have to come to that. But, it seemed like an option if things got dire and perhaps she should keep it open.
Finding a solution at all seemed the way to go and just sitting there, even in this dream, was not going to solve her problems. Juliette had told Alex several times not to count her out because of her age, and even though she felt ill she was going to do her part. She pushed herself up and shuffled out of the room and into the hallway.
Something seemed to trigger in her once she took that step. It was unlike what she had felt in the room, not the sudden sense of blankness but she felt a burst of unknown emotion, unwelcomed too. A figure ran past her and she gave chase at speeds she had not known herself to accomplish.
In her hand was a knife.
And in front of her a poor soul begging for her to stop. Begging her to let them alone and to let them live. They rounded corners, darted into other hallways. A game of cat and mouse, and she was winning and she didn't know why, but it pleased her.
Her victim, a face she couldn't see just yet, attempted to allude her by ducking into the nearest room - like she wouldn't see it. She hopped over a small stool and bounded in afterwards, her stance tall and intimidating, her fingers curling around the knife in her hand just a little bit more. A wicked smile on her face. "Oh dear," she laughed watching him cower in the corner of the room, trying to hide behind the bed that still remained even with the blood stains.
She'd make more.
She crept closer, raising her knife as he continued to beg her to stop, that it wasn't like her. "now it is," she smiled so sweetly and began to swing her arm downwards -
Juliette awoke with a struggled gasp. Tears were running down her face and her body trembled at the sweet relief of the dream. It was terrible, so terrible! She raised her hand to her face to wipe the moisture from her face but.. somehow made it worse. It felt sticky, thick and smelled terrible. She pulled her hands away and gasped once more seeing the crimson that covered them. "No..." She breathed out, looking frantically around her.
She wasn't where she had fallen asleep. And there was a body beneath her, dead with blood pooling under them. "No..." She waned to scream.
Just scream.
