Your character finds a campfire, and there's a few people settled around it. The people stationed at the campfire are fixated at it,and almost say nothing to you. You can (and any other players in the thread) talk to them as you wish. When you are done talking to them all, this event is over!
Character 1: A girl with long black hair. She stares into the campfire and continues to say the words she lied over and over.
Character 2: A balding, old man. He begins to recount a story about his past, about how he was a fisherman. All he fished up were dead bodies. He continues to talk about fishing up his friends. He continues to talk about his wife and how he fished her up too. The story gets more and more morbid.
Character 3: A small boy, maybe five years old. He is looking straight at you the entire time. As you approach him, he whispers I know why this is is happening. If you question him further he doesn't say anything. However if you bribe him with a food item (DISCARD IMMEDIATELY AFTER) he will take it and continue speaking. I am Peter Pan. You blink, and as you do, you realize it wasn't a child at all, but simply an skeleton corpse of a child.
When the event is over, add +10 infection to your character's infection meter

Rajni took one good look at the hospital and then decided no thank you. She remembered what her junkyard fellow had told her in confidence; don't stay twenty-four hours in the hospital. For the first time since leaving the casino, she at least felt like she had a firm handle on something she was going to do. Stay away from the hospital. Done.
However, that left ... wandering the fog. She pulled her sweater closer, unsure how this was any better, but sticking to her decision.
She wandered in the mist alone for a time, gripping her weapons close to her body. Eventually she saw a light in the distance, a yellow orb of sanity in the nothingness and loneliness.
There were people too; she supposed you couldn't have a campfire without people to light it. It put Rajni on edge, because at the moment she wasn't really in a good position to be bargaining. She didn't have any food or water, only a shitton of spare supplies and weapons. Maybe the weapons could go, but she was a little fond of them ...
She approached quietly, but gave enough announcement of her arrival with a calm, "Hello?" No answer, naturally. "I'm friendly, I promise."
The camp was quiet as Rajni took small steps around the circle to meet the various people. The first was a beautiful woman with long black hair who seemed a little shaken, a little unsettled. The second was an ancient man, who smelled of sea salt and brine. The third was a small boy who wouldn't stop staring at her.

Out of the dense fog, a large figure came sauntering towards Rajni. Aside from his silhouette, a bright green eye could be seen.
"Friendly?" he asked.
"Then you'll have no issue in JOINING ME!" he shouted before charging right for the girl. Once he was more easily seen, signs of decay were readily apparent around his body.
WORLD BOSS ENCOUNTER
HP: 50/50 AUTO DAMAGE: 5 per attack Special Effect: The Boss appears to have a horn protruding from his head. He's completely covered in blood. His right eye appears to be there, but it glows a bright and sickly green. You must do at least 10 damage to repel this Boss!
Rajni pushed in front of the three around the campfire. So her weapons were going to come in handy after all.
She left the shovel and candlestick on her back but pulled out the crowbar, pointed and jagged from rust. "Alright piece of s**t, let's go." She didn't like to cower and hide from fights; she preferred to face them head on. They were over faster that way.

He finally took a step out of that hospital, only to walk back into the fog again. It was lighter though, not quite as thick as earlier and he wasn't...really...hearing voices anymore. Which was good. Very good, actually. Maybe he wasn't going insane after all.
Of course, sighting a decaying thing start to attack a nearby campfire made him doubt a little. But he wasn't one to leave such a sight alone; not if he could help, so he pulled out his fishing rod and jumped in on the action.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER Medium build, 6'1" and a lean 159lbs. He sports light skin (that's more prone to tanning but he can still get sunburns if he's not careful), chestnut brown hair that he keeps short and only haphazardly styled, and light, hazel-brown eyes.
Ritsa had been wandering aimlessly for some time. How long she didn't know, or even care at this point. Everything was pointless, she was alone, she was a monster. What more could possibly happen to rip her apart. It wasn't until she had taken a step outside to look around that Ritsa had noticed a few people gathering before what appeared to be a large infected.
She hesitated a moment before rushing in to help. The reminder that the last time she had tried to help someone she had ended up getting them killed. Maybe this would be a good way to end it all for her. Screaming her anger Ritsa rushed forward. She was going to help fight this thing, and help the others if she could.

It was a figure that looked like someone he saw before. a familiar stature. Oh and there was Rajni. He was all for giving a tentative hello when this figure emerged from a cardboard box. It was strange, how it moved, covertly to her till he was within earshot of the girl and then rushed in.
So he tried to scream CONTACT and began bashing the green eyed figure with the shovel. [ Equipping Shovel- 28-6 ]

Rajni used her headband to wipe off her sweat both from the battle and the fire. As soon as people had joined her in the fight, they had left. She wondered if she had imagined the fight and the people altogether. Had she seen Mel and Justin, or were they ...?
She shook her head. Best not to dwell.
Turning back to the campfire, the three figures were just as she'd left them.

The woman looked a little too unsteady to talk to and the little boy creeped her out with the way he was staring at her with those beady little eyes.
So instead Rajni selected the old man to talk to. He began with a short fishing story, but then it became about bodies and Rajni quickly realized something was wrong.
"Guys, your friend he ..." The others were silent. Something was very wrong.

Next Rajni approached the woman, as she seemed the next most reliable in this situation. The kid stared at her the whole while.

Lastly Rajni approached the child, but she was taking a few steps away at the same time.
" I know why this is is happening."
Rajni stayed for at least a moment longer. "You do? Why?" she asked in a gentle voice reserved for her best bedside manner for patients.
The boy was silent. Rajni decided it was best to walk away from this situation.
