GATHERING UMBRELLAS Before the outbreak, people really only used umbrellas when it rained. These days, they are highly sought after, at least if you're looking to make your home at Clearview. Every resident must carry three things with them at all times: a key card, knowledge of the current Clearview Salute, and an umbrella. Sometimes umbrellas are lost. It is up to the community to keep their numbers up.

You may roll as many 8-sided dice per post as you like, as long as you don't exceed five. One per post might be nice if you're completing this task with others so you can alternate, but that's your call. Place and time are up to you, as long as it's not to far from the building, but be aware that venturing out at night by yourself might get you in trouble. Also up to you: the color and style of the umbrellas you find. Ooo.

It'd been a while since she last went on a hunt for umbrellas; it was about time, and she was glad for the task.
She headed out with a wave to the guards, jogging across to a building that she'd only been to a couple of times in the past month since the start of this insanity. With a grunt she hopped over the busted wall that was the entrance and started her way up, being careful to keep an eye out for the umbrellas. She spotted her first one very easily, right inside a front hall closet of the first room she walked in. Lucky. With a smile she bagged it and moved on, meandering through the first floor and nabbing just one other before moving on to the next floor.
Where she saw Jules in the distance, and a smile grew on her face. "Hey, Jules!" she called from down the hall, then pointed into one of the rooms. "Wanna meet back here when we finish our search and walk home together?" she asked, though she didn't wait for an answer. She had wandered into the room already, but it was quiet enough that her voice just seemed louder than normal.
Another umbrella showed up in the kitchen of that following room, then two more in the adjacent room. "Jackpot!" she called and grabbed her treasures before jogging back out into the hall.
"Got five today!" she beamed, holding out the proof of her claim.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER Petit, 5'5" and 114lbs. She is rather fair skinned with relatively soft facial features (compared to her parents) and curiously blue-green eyes. Her hair is a light shade of caramel brown and is naturally wavy, an asset she's rather proud of. [ ref ]
After the activities in the zone, Juliette had been unsure if she was going to go out and look for the various items that were requested of them. Rest seemed like an excellent idea really, but the older woman felt a little fidgety as her fatigue began to subside. Really, the most she did after returning was check on her dear sweet cat, gave her a little food and water and then headed back outside again.
She entered one of the nearby buildings, one she had often passed by but had never really explored. Well, except for today. Pushing a few items out of the way, she went to scavenging for umbrellas as she had done before in other locations. One was found easily enough, that was when she heard the voice behind her.
"Hm?" She picked her head up and instantly she went into a smile, "Oh, hello Mel!" How unfortunate she didn't remind her of one of her cats. But, Mel was at least a lovely name - had she ever learned what it was short for?
"That sounds like a lovely plan, yes, lets." She agreed. She watched the girl go and went on with her own search.
Two more umbrellas were located, one hanging in a broom closet and the other under a bed. She returned back to the appointed hallway with her own total of three. "Oh, a wonderful haul today! I think I'll be able to get some more of those cute umbrellas for mine," she only had so many of them. Though it wasn't as if she was trying that hard.
