All interviews take place in a secluded area away from mobs. Think of it as a great way to know players from other factions without fighting in boss encounters!

Granny wandered around wearing her super man cape and looking a little worst for the wear. She was still struggling to see but it was better than before.
But she was in one of the safer zones now. Did you really want to approach an older looking women with a cane?

Cecil had decided on some more exploring to see what he could find but when his eyes settled on an older woman in the distance his boy scout skills began to kick in. With the need to help on the rise he made his way toward her, his long legs eating up ground, "Ma'am are you alright out here?"
He stumbled a bit, unable to clearly see the debris in his path. Was this lady in need of help or was it really him?

Aaran was there, rubbing the side of his head in a vain attempt to get his ears to work properly.
It was also here he saw a...little old granny with a cane. Which made him rethink his life choices of 'yeah we need to pit ourselves against the other factions.' Because he didn't have the heart to go against a little old lady.
"Woah, hey there mamn!" He called out.

She assumed this was the safe zone. "I'm granny Smith kids." it didn't matter how old they were, she called everyone kid. "You can just call me granny, what faction are you from?"

Kammy was also there, following Cecil with the amazing Gandalf staff curtain pole he gave her. She felt it better to stay near the the tank that was Cecil.

He turned at the sight of two others, a girl who looked a little out of it, and one..wow, a really tall guy.
"...DUDE!" He laughed, amazed at Cecil's height. "You're a really tall guy man, thats gnarly!"

Looking concerned Cecil couldn't help but feel the elder woman should be somewhere safer. Still, he hadn't seen any undying or infected around here. Maybe it was safe for now.
"H-hi Granny." It flowed off his tongue easy enough but he had never had anyone ask him to call them Granny before. "I'm Cecil and-" His one good eye shifted to the boy, smiling awkwardly at his comment about his height. "Thanks?"
Reaching out toward Kammy to help her along, Cecil looked between their little group as he answered the next question. "I'm from the University. What about you Granny?" Maybe this would be a good chance to get to know some of the other fractions a bit.

"I was wondering what blocked out the sun. Is that a person?" Granny squinted in Cecil's direction.
"I'm from the Mall faction. can't you see by my cape? We wear costumes. And I do look stylish if I says so myself." she waved her cane around a moment and then settled sitting down on a tall piece of rubble.
"And yes I was there when it all went down. There are no stragglers. only the strong survive in this world, and I got a little kick left in me yet. Someone has to keep an eye out for all you youngens. How old are you kids. Do you have family members left?" the question was open for them all. She did seem like she might have cared a little. But she was a touch old women who survived this long. she may have had to give up her nice quiet life but even now she was surviving just fine.

Cecil smiled at the older woman, stepping aside as she took a seat. "Yes, ma'am. Always here to provide shade when needed." He grinned in a lighthearted way, listening as the woman told them where she was from. The mall, huh? So they were a diverse crowd.
"I didn't honestly know the mall had picked costumes but now that you mention it, that makes sense." He had seen a few people wearing strange things. He thought it was because of a lack of clothing options but now....now it was coming together.
"Umm," As far as family went that was a touchy subject and Cecil's face immediately fell to something a little sadder. "I don't know for sure." He was still clinging to hope and maybe a touch of denial. "But you seem to have a knack for surviving, what's your secret?"

"That is a pretty awesome costume Granny. Totally dig the cape. " He face fell at her conformation, but he smiled again at the granny's enthusiasm. "You got more then a kick if you can walk among grenades and gunfire! Bet the cape helped as well."
"I'm 24....and I'm not sure. I haven't heard from them in a while." It was something he had chosen not to think about, because if he did he would spend to much time worrying about it. He could see Cecil was concerned for his own family as well. "You guys think we might get rescued? If not, you got any special weapons to help yourself keep going?"

"My secret is lots of video games." she winked. "It's just like call of Duty or something. Minus the weapons. you see I'm retired and my kids never come and see me anymore so I has to have something to do. Bingo just didn't cut it." "I just got age and treachery at this point. We old people are stronger than you think. as for living, I'm not sure. But you bet your left leg I'm going to try. You kids all do the same too you hear? fortify your defenses and make sure you live. When we all get through this I'll bake you all some of my famous apple pie." she was just rambling at this point. But she felt a need to cheer them up on the battle field. she couldn't do a thing to protect them, though she wished she could, but keeping their moral up was going to have to be good enough for now. Remember 6 more days.
"Video games? Really?" Cecil's mood lightened at that, his smile returning. "I bet you got rather good at them. You could probably show me a thing or two."
His smile touched his eyes when she mentioned making them pie. "I will hold you too it then. I really like pie so you can't tease me now." He liked this lady, she was very sweet.

It was kinda hard to hear them, but he was managing to pick up the basics of the conversation. "You are one totally rad Granny." Aaran replied, any tension he had leaving him. These people sounded nice and friendly, and it felt like a small sense of normalcy had returned to him.
"I'll be trying my best as well, and I hope you both make out of this as well. Because I'd love to have one of your apple pies. And verse you at call of duty." He returned the wink. "I just hope Cecil here leaves me a slice or two of your pie. I bet it'll taste great."
"Me? Ahh, nothing special. I was just a simple mechanic. Just started out too. Also liked surfing too, amongst a few other hobbies. How about you Cecil?"

His gaze shifted about though and he worried he should be getting back. He would remember what he learned here and he truly hoped he would see Aaron and Granny again. "I'm going to head back but the both of you stay safe alright. And remember Granny, I look forward to that pie."
