- Pool your resources. Make a master list of what was found, including how many of them there are. These will be the materials you get to work with as a group! - Continue on to Step Two.
Step One-Point-Five: Choose post order - This can be done however you want! You must go in post order for step two.
Step Two - Makeshift Maintenance - Hurray, you have materials! Now to put them to use. - Each person in the group rolls a 1d10 in turn, until there are no materials left to use. Pooled materials will be used on a first chosen-first used basis. - Match your rolls to the problems below, and do your best to fix them using the pooled materials your group rolled earlier! This means you get to be a little creative with how some of the items are used. - Once a material is used, it can not be used a second time. Once it's used, it's gone!
1: You find a small hole in the wall. (Requires 1 material to fix) 2: WILD CARD - You find something to fix. What it is, is your choice. (Requires 2 materials to fix) 3: There is a slightly broken window. (Requires 1 material to fix) 4: This window is very broken. (Requires 2 materials to fix) 5: WILD CARD - You find something to fix. What it is, is your choice. (Requires 1 material to fix) 6: Some of the flooring is compromised, and has a foot-shaped hole in it. (Requires 1 material to fix) 7: There is a large hole in the wall. (Requires 2 materials to fix) 8: This floor is a mess. A whole person could fit down there (Requires 4 materials to fix) 9: WILD CARD - You find something to fix. What it is, is your choice. (Requires 1 material to fix) 10: One of the vents is open. It's a large vent. Someone could fit through it, unless you fix it. (Requires 2 material to fix)
- If you don't have enough items to finish the last fix - don't worry about it. Really. As long as all your materials are gone, this quest is considered complete!
Course Credits - If you and your team mates complete this quest - meaning everyone has completed their dice rolls and has written at least 400 words - you all receive FIVE course credits. - This is all or nothing - meaning all of you have to meet the criteria to get the credits. If one person doesn't finish this quest/word count, nobody gets it! - Don't forget to link completed quests and earned credits in your journal!
With the attack inside the dorms and that hasn't happened for a brief while, it was time to make sure that every hole and crevice on that side of the abandoned dorms was due for a rehaul and reinforcement. Corey was quick to get Justin back onto cleaning up the mess and assigning a him to 2 others in a effort of "fixing that wall" and "keeping the spoopies out". which he was fine with. raiding the abandoned area got him a stack of stuff from the janitors rack which truth be told. he forget that was here a mop, bleach and window cleanser with 4 intact trash bags and 3 rags. "I wish I had this earlier when i was cleaning." he groaned directing his attention to his comrades. "Justin, pleasure to meet ya." he wasn't sure if he met them before, too many new faces and far too many familiar decaying ones. The bucket in the closet was nice too. Why the janitors closet was untouched was beyond his logic, jerking his thumb in as an indication of where he was going and taking the 3 backpacks one filled with nudie mags and the desk that had a solid board.
A swing of the pipe meant there was now two awesome wooden pieces to use. "That was me, no cause for alarm!" he called out, hoping it didn't frighten anyone.

It didn't take long in this area of the campus, but items that could be used was coming out of the woodwork. It was shocking to Justin when everything was piled together. "Why are three 3 Janitor carts on this floor?" was the first Question he had to pose to Dylan and Dahlia because... he just couldn't hold it back. It was so ludicrous. The silent cruse of "Damn you Corey" went around the halls and hopefully bashed into the named persons ear. "Well, at least we have an ample amount of stuff to fix this place. "
Starting with the external features the Blonde began shoving a bottle of windex into the vent to block it up, lest someone uses it as an entry point, and sealing it with a garbage bag to boot

"No idea," Dylan responded. "Maybe somebody was trying to keep them for something?" He couldn't see why, but it was certainly easier to believe than there were three carts that hadn't been found yet. On the other hand, they had found a lot of stuff. "That'll make it easier for us."
He picked one the more broken windows, and used the towel and garbage bag to seal it shut.

Dahlia sighed."Yeah this is one of those things that will most likely take some time to fix. Although-" She said, scurrying into the supplies to find something to fix that giant thing of a hole in the wall. She looks and finds the dry erase board and a garbage bag. With a plastic bag closest to the wall, tucking it inside the wall, Dahlia soon put the dry erase board on top of it to make sure the bag would stay (and not allow a draft to come by). She dusted her hands off on her pants. "That should do it. I think."

It was a fair point. "Yeah but, why windex?" he didn't understand the importance of cleaning windows, something that was probably going to be boarded up to high hell anyways. The wall already had a smaller hole next to the giant one. With a little bit of ingenuity, Justin pushed the bucket into the walls crevice and stuck the projector in the remaining clean cavity of the bucket. "If we can wire it up, this bathroom much just be pretty popular, maybe even a movie night if we get enough power."
It was all wishful thinking.

Dylan shrugged. "Maybe they thought they could get high off of it." He grabbed a couple of the backpacks, and stuffed it into a whole in the wall. "That and the bleach would probably do something, though it wouldn't be very good for you." It would be pretty cool if they could get the projector to work, but unless something happened to make all of the electricity to come back on, it would probably be frowned on. "That'd be neat. Zombie movie marathon?"

A movie? Sounds like so much fun! It's been a while since a movie was ever played. Although at the rate that all of these things are going, she doubt that the movie would be coming around any time soon. In the meantime, she had to fix a broken window. Justin pursed his lips and shook his head. "Thats kinda hitting too close to home, Dylan. its too real life." never did he imagine that would ever be said about zombie films. "my votes on a comedy, we need a good laugh, what do you think Dahlia? If we can salvage a movie, we'll have to try it out." It was a test, but he didnt like the idea of using alka seltzer in anything constructive. He heard stories of it in bottle and water and explosions. instead he opened a bottle of the stuff and drained it into the toilet because well, maybe it would clean out the gunk in their. fixing the plumbing counts!

"Yeah, you're right," Dylan responded. Even the spoof ones wouldn't be that great, so it was probably better if they avoided them entirely. Maybe even most of the horror movies. People would have more fun if they didn't have to worry about stuff being close to real life. "Yeah, comedy would be good." He glanced around the room, looking to see what else needed to be fixed. "You think that maybe we could find a laptop with a full charge somewhere on campus? Maybe in one of the computer labs?"
There was a small hole that seemed like it was the perfect size for one of the bells that he had found. and he slipped it in. Perfect fit.

"The movie does sound like an interesting idea. Although the whole zombie movie marathon might be one of those things that might have to-," pausing to use her hands "wait a little while for that one." She saw that there was a leak coming from a spot on the floor, so she grabbed one of the mops to stop the clog. "Maybe some awesome fantasy movie, or even a comedy at most. Something to get our minds off of things."

"If we are lucky, there might be one laptop left." Justin mentioned. one that survived damage and still had a charge. It would be highly unlikely, but not impossible. "and i wouldn't mind a nice sci fi, one that can be used as a sense of escapism." he reasoned with Dahlia, covering a shattered window with a towel and propping a backpack against it.
