The daily task of umbrella gathering, after a month’s time, was becoming like second nature to Lorena. It was relatively early in the morning when she got up to start her day with some umbrella scavenging; Durza was joining her on this particular day. Stretching as Lorena went to their meeting place, she leaned against the wall as she waited for him yawning just a bit in the process.

As he arrived on the scene, his bandit companion chattered at him noisily. He was debating looking for something to use as a leash for the mascot that insisted on following him about in his quests. He lifted his hand in a wave, holding something out to her, a single coffee bean. "This'll perk you up a little."

“Good morning.” Her eye brows rose as he offered her the coffee bean. “Are you sure? Resources are so low I wouldn’t want to use up your last coffee bean.” She was tired sure, but she would make it out okay, maybe even nap a little in the afternoon if she was still feeling the lulls of sleep beckoning her back to bed.

“Alright then.” Lorena took the bean and popped it into her mouth. To make it last longer she decided to slightly crack it between her teeth and then suck on it for as long as she could. It wasn’t exactly the best thing but any little bit helped. Turning, Lorena spotted an umbrella under a pile of garbage and jogged up to it to pick it up.

Durza looks about but doesn't spot any umbrellas himself. He frowns at the thought that perhaps he wouldn't find any this time at all.

Lorena continued to look around for some umbrellas, she alked along and couldn't find another one.
"This place has been scavenged to hell and back." She murmured. People were getting desprate and there was onyl a certain number of umbrellas out there right?
"Hopefully this isn't a day lost, I'd ike to find more than a single umbrella."

“And there’s another one!” Lorena had been looking through some old creates that had been abandoned and under a bunch of junk she found exactly what she wanted. She pulled out an old discolored umbrella that had turned slightly yellow instead of white. But it was an umbrella and that counted. “I’m sure you’ll find one.”

It would seem that in his last ditch effort to get any umbrellas at all, Durza had found three of them at once! Each umbrella was yellow and bright as a sun. He opened one up to check it was still working, though did these umbrellas really need to be functional? The faction was just using them as symbols more than anything. Perhaps they should consider something lighter next time, like perhaps an actual lighter. Nothing as obviously dangerous as the knives they were too have before that one incident happened.

As much as she tried to search it was no use, Lorena only found one more to add to her pile.
“Looks like we both got three.” Six in total wasn’t bad, especially considering umbrellas were probably starting to get scarce in this area. She was still glad that they had found some anyways.
“Time to hand in these beauties.”
