Rumor has it…



That this elegant fellow is looking for a home!


His parents are Pile of Secrets and Makeshift, and his siblings’ names are Basilisk, Bloodsucker, Creature, and (tentatively) Doppelganger. If you’d like to take him home, all you must do is come up with a name and a short concept, theme, or personality blurb- in one line, tell us something wonderful or interesting- as well as answer a few little questions just for amusement. The contest will run for three days, starting at 5 AM CST on Sunday, 20 September; it will close at the same time CST on Tuesday night/Wednesday wee-small-hours-of-the-morning.

As you may have garnered, this clutch’s theme is what you might call gothique; we are looking for a nice, evocative name that relates to the rest of the family somehow, as well as a personality that might mesh with such creatures. (Please note that while the names do tie into the Castlevania franchise, knowledge of daddy’s source game is not required; atmosphere and adherence to the theme’s feel is much more important!)

Generally, are monsters more dangerous… or are monster hunters?: Depends. What is labeled as a monster may not even be a monster. One claims to be a monster hunter may just be a fake.
