Against the coaxing of the sun's rays, sweat chilled like morning dew as it found itself caught in snarls of matted burgundy fur. The light caused an ethereal aura on the surroundings, as colors responded in kind to the warmth of bright sunlight to weary eyes. Silvio felt himself stumble as his feet were planted more firmly onto what he perceived as solid ground, despite the gentle tilting his mind was registering in survey. Metal tapped silently at his ears as they slowly inched back, and a soft hiss escaped his mouth at the quick thrash of his tail. He had overdone it again. His fingers were bloodied, and flexed movement only helped to peel like an overzealous bandaid the parts that had half-dried. He could hardly even recall the past few hours... or day? Was there even a way to know?
Backing away from the gouges on a tree, he headed toward the shop. It was the closest establishment he was... partially-familiar with, and knew that it was at least welcoming. There was also the chance it would be overrun, like so many times before, but it was a chance the 'coon was willing to take.
However, upon arrival, the tiny coon was met with the most unwelcome of grins. Minoru, perched at the edge of the roof like a stone gargoyle, grinned at the cheshire-marked boy,
"My oh my, it appears someone lost a fight with a tree. What did it ever do to you?" Silvio merely brushed the demon off, pausing only for the swiftest of moments to verify Minoru was not just a figure at the edge of his vision. Despite the confirmation, he was still not convinced the dark-haired mass-of-wings was not just a hallucination, fabricated to work as devil's advocate to common sense.
Nearing the door, however, brought with it further detours to his goal, fur bristling on edge and ears snapping back at the strong clatter from within. It seemed there would be obstacles after all. As he entered, a shock of color against a contrasted backdrop, he cautiously avoided the kitchen area for the time being, intent on locating a first aid kit. First stop would be the bathroom, so he focused on edging the common area to bypass interaction.
Minoru held the door open, peering curiously inside by dunking his head past the overhang of the roof. The wings on his head rustled a bit, anticipation making him a little restless. Ahh, was someone trying to cook something in there?
"If you're trying to make a pie, I think you're doing it wrong!" he hollered inside, expecting little more than a grunt of irritation in response. Perhaps it
was a little more entertaining to be inside... for once.
