- It seems as if the villagers now want you to collect some more eggs. Those eggs are really delicious you know, and surprisingly enough, get you into the good graces of the villagers quite fast.
- Your character is dropped off at the base of an even taller mountain The goal is to climb the mountain and get the egg. RP climbing it appropriately
- As you near the egg, whatever is following you will try to eat it. Roll 1d6 to see what it is.
1. A sand crab minipet 2. A 100 foot giant snake 3. A baby wyvern 4. A zombie deer minipet 5. A sand whale (estimated 400 feet) 6. A rolling sand lobster minipet
If by any chance a sand whale is the culprit, it automatically eats the egg and you have to try again. Otherwise, rp gathering the egg.
- Now you must carry the egg down the cliffside of the mountain. Roll 1d6 again and see what is trying to push you off the cliff aggressively.
1. A sand crab minipet 2. A 100 foot giant snake 3. A baby wyvern 4. A zombie deer minipet 5. A sand whale (estimated 400 feet) 6. A rolling sand lobster minipet
If the result is a sand lobster, you drop the egg, and have to try again.
- You finally pass the cliffs into the forest region of the mountain. Roll 1d5 to see what tries to block your way.
1. A sand crab minipet 2. A 100 foot giant snake 3. A baby wyvern 4. A zombie deer minipet 5. A sand whale (estimated 400 feet) 6. A rolling sand lobster minipet
If the result is a 100 foot giant snake, it squishes you and you have to try again.
Finally, you make you way past all of that and you get to the base camp. Oh wait, something is waiting for you at base camp! Roll 1d6 again:
1. A sand crab minipet 2. A 100 foot giant snake 3. A baby wyvern 4. A zombie deer minipet 5. A sand whale (estimated 400 feet) 6. A rolling sand lobster minipet
If a baby wyvern shows up, very mean adult wyverns land, reprimand you, and then extract the egg from you before flying away. You don't get an egg. Otherwise, success!
If you successfully get an egg to safety, you get wyvern egg. It is considered a quest item. Add it to your quest item list

Silannas thought it was strange with how fast these villagers seemed to change their tune. Her and Carlos had got them the eggs, sure. That was fine and dandy. But now they wanted more... Well, that was fair. They had seemed rather happy after eating the eggs they had gotten. Of course, not offer her or Carlos any but she didn't expect much from a bunch of villagers that offered then ate the food they had just offered right in their faces. So far, her faith in these creeple were pretty low. But... That little bit of hope that was left was hoping that if they did this for them again, they would lighten up a bit about their existence in their village. Her and her feline friend were, once again, lead to a mountain. But this one... Seemed a might taller than the last one. Of course, why would this be just as easy as the last climb... Otherwise, why would these villagers need their help? "I suppose... Up we go... Again." She glanced to Carlos, giving his head a light pat before making her way up towards the top where, she assumed, the eggs were that they were to gather for their 'mission.' These rocks weren't any easier to climb than the last! She was thankful that Carlos would, hopefully, not have any problems like she was. Silannas brought out her stake again and jammed it between rocks and in crevices that she could find to keep herself steady. She didn't fancy a broken anything of her body. She wouldn't have the time to fix or heal it. Well, maybe with the right wraps and she could probably make a salve out of something nearby... She slowed a bit as she thought before her stake wobbled a bit, her senses reacting and quickly found another means of an anchor with a ledge. A shaky sigh left her before she continued her trek. 'Right. Gotta quit that while I'm doing this...'"How you holding up, Carlos?"

(continuation from here) Carlos was resilient. Even after the last trip up the mountain. Carlos was still rearing to go. His friend Silannas was also kind and a great companion. Plus she gave lots of head pats and pettings which were always returned with happy purrs. Carlos found himself a good friend. Wait they ate the eggs? Carlos was bringing them dinner? there was a small pout as he realized they didn't share with him. But this mountain was larger. More eggs... that would probably be eaten. And none for him. Why was Carlos doing this again? Well Silannas was here and she seemed to be doing it, so he did too. "Do you think there will be more snakes?" Carlos wasn't that bothered by the idea of them. He might have gotten roughed up but that was mostly just his first sticking up. He followed along up the mountain and was honestly a little bit of a slow butt this time. He had just climbed another mountain and the sense of adventure had warn off a bit. He hopped along after her. When she nearly feel Carlos didn't have it in him to say something along the lines of be careful. Being a spirit he didn't experience things like broken bones. Pain was a little foreign to him. Instead he sang to himself a little as they went up. "Go down the rabbit hole and out the other side, you can't go home in the middle of the magic carpet ride." he tried to get himself back into adventure mode. The song he choose though had a sad and eerie ring to it. Even do it got him moving again. Oh was Silannas asking him a question? "We are all mad here, it's ok." he grinned at her. He climbed another rock closer to the top.

'We are all mad here, it's ok.'That was a true statement. Why were they doing these jobs? Solely to earn the trust of the creeple of this place? Well... She supposed... Yeah. They were. She chuckled a bit at the song with a light shake of her head. Another hand there and another ram of her stake into another crevice and she had reached the top with her feline companion. The shaman was thankful of one thing right now and it was that she wasn't alone during these times. Carlos very different but sweet in his own sense. "Your riddles are rather enjoyable, Carlos." She hadn't met someone that talked in such a way but it was striking and a little funny. Sil loved riddles and puzzles in her spare time. It made figuring out different uses of compounds in herbs that much more interesting. "Now we can hope for no more snakes but anything could come get us at this point but... Again, let's hope again for now..."And then... the ground shook. 'Oh no...'Something came up behind them. Something big. What was even that!? A shark? Whatever it was, it pushed past her and Carlos, knocking her to the ground and rather close to the edge of the mountain. Her hands scrambled for purchase among the rocks before she looked on in the eggs behind devoured by the beast. Sil looked on, sighed then rested her head against the rock.

((attempt 2)) "Thankyou. A Cheshire cat riddles. We collect them. What lies in a bed and but runs? What has a mouth but never eats." he gave her one from his collection. would she try to solve it? Ge hoped so. It was a common one, perhaps she already knew the answer. A little entertainment for the mountain. he really should make her a riddle too. "No more snakes would be...." just as Carlos was replying suddenly something huge came up from the sand and swarmed the eggs they had just found. Carlos's eyes widened as he paused and just stood there. ----- Another trip up the mountain later the actually found some eggs that were not immediately eaten. Their wish for less snakes however was not granted as a 100 foot giant snake slithered by.

Hopefully this time around was going to be different but she had still been thinking on those riddles. She contemplated the puzzles with her mouth scrunched up to the side. Sil couldn't even help the slight peak of her tongue as she thought about them while scaling the mountain once more. It was a nice distraction. Not one that would hinder her progress, hopefully. "...In a bed but runs... A mouth but never eats..." The shaman bit her bottom lip a bit before grabbing another hold on the mountain. Riddles were hard sometimes... And that was the beauty of them. She reached up to where Carlos had gotten to and was also wary of the snake nearby but she had noticed how it slithered... Moved... Curvy... AH! She pointed both of her index fingers at Carlos with a smile. "A river! My goodness, a river! That is clever!" Several giggles escaped her. Silannas truly was lucky to have such a friend with her. She had been a little defeated earlier and the riddle helped her forget that feeling and focus on something far more interesting. She rewarded the feline with a few scritches behind his ear and a smile. And they had made it to the top to get their eggs! The still giggling shaman picked up one of the eggs and noticed it was a little different then the ones she had previously gotten from a different mountain. This one was smooth, almost like polished marble. But it wasn't super heavy either... Oh well. She pocketed the egg in her side satchel and gave Carlos another thumbs up. "Now's our chance to head back down."She gave another pet to the feline's head before making the way back down and hoping nothing would get in their way this time. Thankfully nothing too major got in their way. A tiny crab tried to pinch her hand before she swatted it off and out of her way. "Shoo! Trying to make it back down, you silly thing."

"Yes yes!" Carlos giggled with happiness. "A river it is! Too bad there isn't a river here." Carlos picked up another egg and started back down with it. A tiny sand crab mini pinched his friend hand and Carlos had to stop and sniff it where it landed. huh that was weird. Were they in an ocean? It tied to pinch him too and he pulled away. as the walked he spotted yet another one and stopped and sniffed. Sand crabs! the cat was distracted by them for a minute. "An ocean it seems more like. Between the whales, the sand and the crabs. An ocean of fog perhaps." Carlos spoke with a dreamy tone about him. It was a much nicer walk this time. Well float but you know, close enough for a spirit cat.

"That does make sense... Crabs being out here is a little strange..." She watched Carlos chase the small sand crab around before handing her egg on over to the local villagers. "And whales... Hmm... And we still don't know about this fog." Silannas looked around more and noticed that the fog was just everyone. Everywhere. There is no where that you'd look that wouldn't have fog. A really was a good thing she was with the cat spirit. She smirked before standing next to her friend. "You know... I've heard crabs are pretty good too." She was starting to get hungry and she knew crabs were something she has eaten once. She had needed to and had been sure to used everything of the crab when she had. And she had promised Carlos some fish. Maybe a crab would do...

Crabs would certainly do and they were everywhere it seemed. Carlos's tail twitched as he couldn't help himself. He set his egg down, launched and caught the last crab they saw. Dinner dinner dinner! It pinched at him but he pulled the claws right off the poor mini and sucked out the meat right there. "It is pretty good. Want some?" he offered the still squirming crab to her. Oh wait the egg! he picked his back up and finished going down the mountain with her. Carlos crunched on the bit of meat in his mouth.

It wasn't unusual for felines or really any animal to eat as Carlos had. He was hungry and it was a viable source of food. And it seemed to be in abundance as they had seen more then a few roaming about. And who was she to refuse such an offer? "Thank you, Carlos. I'd love some." She took the offered crab. "Here, mine as well put this little guy out." She retrieved her stake and quickly jabbed it between the shells and the squirming stopped. It was only right instead of eating it while it wiggled about. "There." She gave a quick nod before ripping a leg off and sucking the meat out. Ahhhh... Food never tasted so good to her then when she hadn't had something this rich in a while. "Good catch, by the way. Should last us for a bit while we find something else to do."
