                  Central Plaza

The plaza is not only the center of the City of Beginnings, but also the center of gossip and trade. Information and updates on the front lines are shared here in the mixing pot of players. A teleportation pad sits at its very center with a constant stream of players coming and going.

Beneath the stars, face to face,
I told you I love you, I won't let your heart break...
I'll run to the moon and walk on the sea
I'll start a new world for you and me
                                Sylvia LaCroix
                                The Siren "Phoenix"
And I'll save you when the sky falls...
So together we can break down the walls...
                                Now I'm everywhere, you know,
And I'll never let you go.
'Cause I'll save you when the sky falls.
Can you hear the siren call?

Sylvia's first reaction upon realizing she had been relocated down a multitude of floors was to query her surroundings. While it didn't take her too long to pinpoint exactly where she had landed herself, two things stuck out at her like a sore thumb - and upon further reflection, like an entire sore arm in one case. Firstly, there were far too many people milling around looking equally confused, if not moreso. Second, why back to starting grounds? And on another note altogether, what happened to the runic cover over her left arm?

A moment later, the announcement came up and Sylvia froze outright. She didn't even know what to think for the most of it; just listen and note everything. This was nothing short of an outrage; imprisoned in a game. The mere mention of it left her heart pounding, and she closed her eyes with a slow breath to steady herself. No good; this was just too obscene... not to mention bizarrely illegal. "Nope." She said fairly spontaneously, throwing her hands up for a moment and walking to a nearby wall. "Can't think this through standing."

While it took her a moment, Sylvia did rather easily cross to one side of the plaza and sat down against the wall, her head leaning back against the harder surface behind it as she puzzled through the implications. Of the wall of thoughts that hit her a few seconds later as she allowed her to think it through, she focused on only a few for now.
One; no sponsor in their right mind would allow this legally. Trapping the general citizenry in a world outside of reality was nothing short of depriving of the liberties nearly implicit in living on planet Earth. So, this decision couldn't have been backed by any manner of legal office, and was not made by the game's creators. On a related note, Sylvia was fairly sure that wasn't the same GM she'd found administrating the forums.
Two; what exactly did this person mean about being afraid of permanently dying? That was ludicrous in and of itself, but... at the same time, the mere mention listed it as a possibility. Blackmail at its finest, with the potential of dangling thousands of lives on a keychain. Sylvia couldn't help but shudder at the possibilities.
Three; motivation. Honestly, that escaped her. Having something to live up to out of a show was itself insane, but to go so far as to trap the masses didn't seem quite like an equal cost-to-reward. It sounded to her like a cover story, if a well-crafted one that more devoted players than herself might actually buy into.
...Oh, no there was the answer right there. She couldn't be the only person thinking this was an inherently bad thing that - come good or ill - has to be stopped. But wherever people start taking sides, opposite sides will be taken. This could go all sorts of bad, and left simultaneous reversion nearly as an open invitation for more than a few hostile disputes.
And four; what the hell? If people were going to be trapped here, that meant the only way for them to survive in the real world - at least as far as food and water went - was with some pretty serious medical help. What was this woman thinking?!

Frustrated, Sylvia slammed her arm back against the wall and furrowed her brow, offering no real surprise when it yielded not at all but instead left the side of her hand slightly bruised. "No, this is not okay." She grunted, narrowing her eyes. "Well-played, sure... but this is just too much." And yet, they were on opposite ends of the spectrum. And, honestly, what else was she to do? Without being able to get out and with little more than her wits to help her - at least for now - she tried to plot out a course of action.

Well, a course of action with only the first step and a dozen contingencies was still a course in its own right. "Well... time to go to work." She shrugged, playing off her entire stress as pointless as she visibly relaxed. Act or no, if she was going to have any say in this at all, she needed to at least appear to have kept her cool - and if there was anything easier to do than that, she didn't quite know what it was.

Now watch me find a thousand ways
to tell you I love you and we'll be okay...
I'll run to the moon and walk on the sea.
I'll start a new world for you and me.

                    -MORWEN TELEMNAR-
                    HP: 20 // MP: 30
                    LEVEL: 1

After her brother logged off of FAO, Morwen started on her way to the market to purchase some more arrows for her bow. She had been saving up her xing so that she could buy different kinds of arrows, and possibly a nicer bow to shoot with if she still had enough money left over, and if there was a bow that she liked. She realised that she probably should of checked the market to see what was available before she saved up the money to buy it, but simply noticed that it was too late to do that now.

Just as Morwen was about to walk into town, though, she spawned back to the Central Plaza in the City of Beginnings. Weird, she thought, thinking that it was just a glitch in the system, and turned around to start walking to her original destination. She didn't get very far before realising just how many confused faces there were standing around in the Central Plaza. There were too many for this to be a random glitch, and it gave her the creeps to wonder why everyone was suddenly respawned to the Central Plaza, since she remembered what her stepbrother had told her about former VRMMORPG games. He knew every detail about the crises caused by SAO, Alfheim Online, and all games alike them, but promised her that everything would be okay with the new version since the security was updated. Morwen hoped that what he said was true.

That was when the announcement was let out to all of the players, causing Morwen to break down inside. She never wanted to play the game in the first place, let alone be imprisoned inside of it with no one familiar to guide her through it. She hurriedly opened her menu to check if the logout button was still there, hoping that this was just a joke. As it turned out, though, there was no button, just as the announcer as said. She was also returned to level one, with her original stats and none of the items she had retrieved, just as the announcer had said. Now she was stuck in a video game, without her stepbrother or anyone familiar to guide her, without her recently earned stats, and it might be the death of her.

Morwen looked around wondering she was supposed to do next. She had nothing played any video game unless her brother was playing it as well, in which case, he would tell her where to go and what to do. Now, she only has herself to rely on, and she didn't know what to do. She knew that she had to get her level and stats back up so that she could survive, but she had no idea where to start. Morwen looked around the plaza noticing that the people had started to break off and go their own ways, hoping that everyone else knew what they were doing. After standing around confused for a few more minutes, she finally calmed down and decided that it would be best to slay monsters before she did anything else. Luckily, Morwen could remember directions easily, and knew exactly where she needed to go.

One silent step, then the next. Silently tracking a silver beast with glowing blue eyes, it was a rare prize. Surely it would fetch her a long of xing once caught and turned in. She got the job from some man who wouldn't reveal his name, but surely enough he had given her a handful. She couldn't quite think of why, she definitely wasn't the most famous or the best huntress that her guild had to offer, that was for sure. Having taken months hiatus she was left behind most of her other guildmembers. Her schoolwork had swallowed her whole with calculations and chemical reactions, lab tests and research. Real life had swallowed her whole in its entirety. However, it seemed she was unmissed, as always. Loners didn’t have friends, even in a common group such as a guild; no one even knew she was gone. She didn’t know if she should be happy that she blended so well with the shadows that no one noticed that she was gone, or to be hurt that no one cared enough to check.

She pulled back the draw string on her bow, she always held it sideways when using stealth. It was more quiet and quicker than the normal draw. Her eyes narrowed behind her mask, her breath slow and quiet. She was the shadows; they lived and breathed and existed through her. She stepped forwards once, and then….

                                                                          > WARNING! WARNING!
                                                                          > SYSTEM ERROR! SYSTEM ERROR
                                                                          > REBOOTING

She screeched, missing her step and stumbling at the loud noise, firing her arrow and missing by a long shot. The beast spooked and ran off, disappearing in to the brush. Janah cursed out loudly, putting away her bow before looking at the screen as it popped up again. It said something about a new version before she was transported and the messaged glitched out. She found herself suddenly in the Central Plaza with crowds of people around her. She let out a hiss, trying to fade back in to the shadows, however when she stepped back in to the shade she didn’t become ethereal like usual. Nightengale’s brows furrowed in confusion and she opened her menu to log out to check if this was a bug of the crash but that’s when it hit her. There was no log out button, not anywhere at all; not one to be seen. It was then that she realized that her bow and hard earned loot was gone from her inventory, along with her hard earned armor. She was back to her starter clothes; naked. She was back to the beginning, back to level one.

And the worst thing was that this was the same thing that happened in the previous VRMMORGP’s, the death game is what she had called it. She was stuck here, possibly fighting for her life, and she was like a brand new baby in a big rabid world. To make it worse, she was alone, she had to friends, to party, no contacts. She was all alone in this horrible game with nothing and no one to her name. Panic rose up in her, she was alone in her solitary dorm. It was possible no one would see her for days if it was at all possible that they could remove the headgear from her. Her mind swirled and whirled, she was all alone, she was going to die alone. She gripped at her head, trying to calm herself down.

                                                                      ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------

Enough deciphering and playing mind games with herself. The crowd had thinned just slightly, enough that the masses of straight-shot folks had already gone off to do their thing. Of those that were left, she could pick a few out who were having a more rough time with the circumstances than others, but those remaining were the ones she had a more vested interest in. As far as organizing the way forward, those were the ones who thought things through - and if she admired anything in others, it was intelligence. If the response to being brought down to the beginning is simply to forge your way back to the top, it ultimately meant nothing. Those discerning the reality of it, those planning their recovery rather than rushing headlong - and one in particular caught her eye.

Stepping closer, with every move as deliberate as she could make it, she stopped just shy of the evidently-overwhelmed Shade and lifted a finger to the underside of one arm, nudging to remove it from gripping her head with a small smile. "Is it really so bad?" She asked, her voice slightly shy of an outright purr. "Sure, it's sudden... pretty drastic, too. A lot's going on, someone's pulling strings they shouldn't be, and we're all stuck." Tilting her head for a moment she shrugged and gestured back to the crowds of people making their way out to start right all over again. "All these guys, they don't even care..." She was just on the verge of pointing out that she appreciated that someone did, but another idea occurred to her in that moment.

Mind games. Paint the impression that she isn't who she is, then build right over an as-yet-unbroken bridge. Smirking, she gave a shrug. "-So why should you?"

Now watch me find a thousand ways
to tell you I love you and we'll be okay...
I'll run to the moon and walk on the sea.

As the groups of people had been leaving he start up town, Blue was the only one who had been comin back. His eyes had this particular look of horror within them, as if he had witnessed someone die. And that was truly the case. After watching his friend die, being imprisoned here with no way to survive, Blue was left with nothing but his sanity which is slowly losing itself. Shouji... He was so young... Too innocent for this crap.... Damn it!! Blue yelled slamming his fists against a wall. He fell to the floor sitting down, as he tried to summon his original sword. Nothing... Everything was resettled, especially his friends list. Either they all died or they logged out at the right time... But still.... What can he do? What would his father Makoto do at a time like this?

Soon, Blue heard something from a few steps away. This woman telling this other lady that it was no big deal and that nobody was caring. That reall tipped Blue off. What do you mean "nobody cares?" People are dying here! This isn't a game anymore!!! One wrong move and you die! You'll be dead forever like.... Like Shouji.... Blue muttered as he turned away. go ahead and help those that are too weak to fight... They'll all die anyway... Blue said to her, as he kept on, shoving through a blonde girl with elf ears. His eyes had a mixture of revenge, shock, and horror, all mixed into one. And what's worse, he was ready to break down crying at any moment... I'll kill him... I swear on his grave... Blue said.

She let out a long and drawn out hiss, staring at the lady in front of her. Honeyed words, flamboyance; she couldn't be anything other than a siren. She was about to ask the lady if she even knew who she was talking to but then she remembered she probably didn't, she wasn't that well known and she wasn't even wearing her special armor to begin with. She took a step back from the lady, glaring at her. She wanted none of her syrup-covered words, trying to draw her in. She could go somewhere else, she wasn't one to fall in to mind game. Janah's attention was drawn by a boy, freaking out just behind them. He had clearly lost someone and now was losing his mind, another reason why she didn't keep friends. The shade persed her lips before speaking quietly.

"Idiot." It was the only word she said, and she wasn't even sure if the boy heard her but it didn't matter. He could say all he wanted about the weak players, probably about herself, but in the end he was the one going to die. "It is those with no drive to continue that will die, not necessarily the weak ones. Weakness is a temporary thing, being a weak-minded moron is not." With those final words Nightengale turned her attention from the two people in front of her and opened her menu; having to deal with the immediate problem of having people talk to her had overridden some of the panic. Her mind was still spinning about all of the possibilities in which she could die, in which her life should end. She went over her inventory; as she had thoguht the whole thing was wiped. She was back to the starting gear you first got when you joined and gave no passive bonuses or defence boosts; it was worthless really, it just made sure you weren't naked.

All of her teleport crystals were gone too, and she had no way to get back to her guild, though she doubted that would do her any good. Any of the stuff she stored there was probably gone as well. The female shade let out another hiss, her eyes narrowing; this was definitely going to be hard. They were now playing a game where the rules were flipped; they couldn't just die and lose their items; they died they died for good. Items weren't the main concern now; she wondered what would happen to horders.

                                                                      ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------

Morwen knew where she needed to go, and knew what she want to do, yet she couldn't get herself to walk even a few feet before turning back around and walking back to her original point. She tried again but couldn't find it in herself to keep going. She ended up walking around in endless circles, trying to get up the confidence to move on and fight monsters, yet it was more difficult than she thought it was. Morwen had never played a video games without her stepbrother and he always had to watch her closely to make sure that she didn't die and tell her exactly what she needed to do to slay the beasts, yet she still died all the time. If she tried the kill a monster now, she would die for sure.

If seemed like forever before a guy with blue hair pushed past her, trying to get through the crowd. This caused Morwen to step out of her freaked out state, and instead, look up to see where the guy was going. She watched as he confronted two other girls, contradicting what he had just heard one of them say. Morwen figured that since she obviously didn't have anything better to do at the moment, that she would listen in on their conversation, just as she did in the real world.

The way the blue-haired man spoke and acted made it seem like he had deep seeded feelings towards the hacking situation. It almost seemed as though he was going to cry.

Morwen continued watching from afar as one of the girls gave her reply and turned away. Of course, everyone was probably feeling strong emotions towards the situation. After all, most people were at high levels with many hard earned items before the system reboot. Now, they're all the way back to where they started.

Morwen, though, didn't have too much before the reboot took place. She didn't really care about her stats and items, though. The only thing she cared about was getting back to the real world, which she would need to get her level back up in order to do, but she didn't mind starting all over again.

Morwen sat down a few yards away from the people she was listening to, hoping that she could get herself to do something about her situation, realising that no one in the game would want to be friends with a weakling like her. She didn't cry, and she was mad, but instead, sat with a blank expression, not trying to draw any attention to herself.

This World Can Satisfy My Desires...

Gabriel
Creep

Do I Really Want To Leave...

Gabriel spent his entire time walking around the massive world which resided in cyberspace. Zero's and ones creating images, sounds, tastes and touch. It was all very impressive, but it just didn't substitute the real world. The boy pulled up his login screen with the FLICK OF THE WRIST and a holographic panel popped out of nowhere showing a multitude of information. So much yet he could not find the log out button. The boy gave out a soft grunt at his frustration. Wasting his time in a fake world when he could be investing time in the real world planning his next...What ever it was. "You've got to be kidding me..." He muttered under his breathe just before sliding the digital panel away. Around him were hundreds of other players joining the game through a portal of sorts. He could tell others were having issues logging off just as he was. "Excuse me..." Gabriel addressed a woman dressed in traditional samurai armor except it appeared to have been made slimmer and exposing much more skin. In the virtual world a man could just as well be a woman and vice-versa so it was wise to take caution in your interactions with others. The woman looked at Gabriel up and down. studying him. At the moment he had no gear whatsoever. He'd barely played at all. "What do you want noob? Can't you see I'm busy?" She asked with her chin up and a scowl before turning to her party once again. Gabriel bowed and apologized towards the woman who continued to ignore him. Suddenly, the sky became red. Error signs everywhere. People spawning from thin air in the plaza. Then the big message was announced. There would be no escape from FAO.

All around he could hear their voices. Herded sheep beginning to panic at the absence of their shepherd. You're a guy?! You're a girl?! It seemed that the avatars took on the form of the actual player. There was not much change in Gabriel's appearance. Suddenly the samurai lady was no longer slim and sexy. She was an obese male dying of suffocation due to the armor being too tight. Panic was beginning to set. In a couple of seconds the plaza would become a blood bathe and if what the message said was true...Dying was no longer an option.

Walking away from the crowd, Gabriel entered a seemingly empty shop. Seemed to sell armor exclusively. There was a mirror at the far left corner surrounded by exotic looking armor sets. Looking at his own reflection, Gabriel stopped for a brief moment. He was no longer staring at a fake reflection produced by algorithms and code. It was him. FAO was real now he'd have to adapt. Then, a thought. In this world killing wasn't seen as wrong. It was a part of the game. A wicked grin spread across his face. An expression he showed to no one. The monster that hid within his body. Then someone entered the store and his moment to himself was over.

Somehow the boy ended up with a small group of people that weren't screaming or crying out hysterically. It was led by a man who appeared to be in his 30's. He spoke to the group articulately pointing out the fact that keeping so many people prisoners in a game was impossible. The government would surely get them out if it was real in the first place and not some form of special event. The group of 5 including Gabriel all nodded in agreement with the opinion of the 'leader' except for Gabriel. He remembers reading about the SAO incident that happened several years ago that imprisoned thousands of players for more than 2 years. "You're delusional." Gabriel announced with his arms crossed. Indifferenced painted across his face. "No better than those lunatics pleading in the plaza for freedom." The group looked at the boy slack jawed. How dare someone break the new found peace just like that with a couple of words. The human brain was that simple. The man's words had calmed them down, but moment Gabriel spat his doubt at them the seeds of doubt began to spread in their brains. The 'leader' walked towards Gabriel and put his hands on the boy. Pulling Gabriel up towards his own face. The boy stared back unstartled. "Listen here you little twerp. This isn't funny you get that? These people aren't stuck in no ******** game!" Slowly, the boy would grab the hands of the man gently and exert pressure on specific points of his wrists. The man cussed out in pain as his hands released the boy. "This is no longer the world you people are accustomed to. This is the wild where dog eats dog. You can cling to your delusions as a means to cope, but every one of you will die and I'll be there. Ready to loot your corpses. Or loot sac I dunno." With that said, Gabriel turned around and walked away from the madness that had becom of the plaza.

"Alright, I am absolutely certain that this is where the dungeon boss room is guys.. We searched for it since we got on.. Why was it so hard to find." "I'm not sure but oh man.. Can we save this one for tomorrow? I'm getting pretty tired now." The rest of the group agreed, almost in near unison. " See ya tomorrow Remy!" "Yeah, yeah, whatever Phil." He waved to the berserker character, as he started to log off. 'Definitely can't do this one alone... I could probably grind I suppose..' The young man looked at the rest of his party, and gave goodbyes to all of them. He only knew one of them, and that was the guy who suggested that they all call it quits for tonight. But not him. He wasn't ready to hit the hay yet. He was just getting started. "I guess I could grind it out a bit more by myself. More rewards for me!" Smirking, the monk headed back on the path he was on before, waiting for some monsters to spawn. At the moment he had enough buffs and ranged attacks to take out any of the creatures that started to group attack or even ambush him. 'Maybe we'll get to... Level 50 before we get off?.. Nah that sounds tiring..' The young man sighed, as he began to see enemies pop up on the map. Easy targets. "Wind Cannon!" The young man prompted his action, a giant ball of wind to ram into his first victim. As they noticed him, they were one ally short. A non stop barrage of wind blasts hit Azazel's enemies, killing each of them on contact. As the last one fell and transformed into simple pixels of light, Zel approached their remains to see a few item drops and xing. A confirmation screen popped up, allowing him to receive his awards for his kills. Of course, he tapped the "Yes" button, and waited for it to disappear and for the rewards to appear in his inventory. A slow minute passed by, causing the male to spam the yes button. Still nothing happened. The pop up was still there and he was now getting frustrated. "The developers have bugs like this? Really? No wonder I never heard of this damn company..." The seventeen year old male let out a distressed grunt, as he completely gave up on the reward. It was frozen, stuck in time as far as he could tell. Suddenly, he was given a notice.

                                                  > SERVER DOWN.
                                                  > SYSTEM REBOOTING. PLEASE WAIT.

"Finally! It could have warned us that there would be some sort of maintenance.. " The silver haired male sighed in relief, knowing that his problems would be fixed, and he'd get back to grinding in no time. He sat in the strange, white space for what felt like a while, waiting for the reboot to finish. It was like a loading screen, but he was able to walk around in the endless expanse. He was the only player in this space, so why was the room so big? It was so strange to the young man. A few moments later, he heard a beeping sound which told him something important was happening. Once more, his eyes spotted a giant notification, floating in mid air.

                                                  > REBOOT COMPLETE.
                                                  > WELCOME TO FARDOR AVIL ONLINE 2.0

As the information pixels flew past his face at incredible speeds, the young man shielded his eye from the brightness that came with generating the world. Zel took a look into his inventory, curious as to what had happened to his rewards. As he opened it, his expression turned cold and stolid. "Man, these bugs are killing me... Where'd all of my rare items and equipment go? What the hell is up with this game?" As he closed his inventory, he noticed his level. The young man felt a cold sweat, as he froze for a bit. "You know what, screw it, I'm out!" As he opened his menu, he immediately noticed something. The logout button was nowhere to be found. The monk's jaw dropped as he was now finished with the game; There was way too many bugs for him to play it any longer. Seeing as he could not get out, he sat right where he was standing, and laid his hands on his head, nestled into a ball of sorts. He did not notice that his real body structure and facial features were being revealed, but that was mainly because he matched his character's features to his own, except for the silver color of course. 'I am trapped in this damn game... All the hours I put in to efficient and effective grinding are gone... All of my friends logged out... s**t.'

Suddenly, a female voice began speaking to the masses left in the Central plaza, or most likely anyone in the City of Beginnings. The monk looked up, confused as to why she called herself the game master. 'Wasn't the GM a "he"? Ah whatever, I'm tired of this crap...' The male sighed, barely listening to the announcement any longer. No actual death, great. No logging out, and one-hundred floors needed to be cleared to win. The name SAO was mentioned, causing the young man to think for a while. 'SAO was the thing that happened in Japan... I remember hearing about that.. How could they let the same thing happen AGAIN. ' A new reality. That's just perfect. The young man laughed, and began checking his skills. He was down to four incredibly basic skills that he'd created when he first began, and he could barely use them. Grinding would be a challenge, that much was clear. With the starter stats, the Monk and Shaman combo was very hard to use, considering he had no real control over fire or water just yet. Sure, the short range wind attack and earth wall were great skills to have, but if anyone were to fight him at this point... Well who knows what would happen. "Might as well get started now..." Sighing, the young man put his hands above his head, and started to head toward the nearest monster zone. He was gonna kill as many beasts as he possibly could. He was in dire need of experience and items, seeing as the female "game master" did not give them the little starter pack that they had received at the beginning of the game. Potions, starter equipment, extra xing; These luxuries were nowhere to be seen. The players were literally at ground level, and had equal opportunity to clear floors.

And I'll save you when the sky falls...
So together we can break down the walls...
                                Now I'm everywhere, you know,
And I'll never let you go.
'Cause I'll save you when the sky falls.
Can you hear the siren call?

Sylvia blinked, quite surprised by the string of answers given to her - half of which came positively unbidden but not quite off the topic at hand. Without even turning her head to see the face of the more adamantly-opposed of them, she lifted her marked arm and gave a gesture his way, as if to surrender the point to him as he was going already. Still, he had quite a bit missed the mark as far as she was concerned, and could not at all help but chuckle when the single word idiot came out in response to the boy.

Still, the real answer was forthcoming after all, and while it did not at all line up with her line of thought, she found she could appreciate the answer for what it was worth regardless - and was not at all irrelevant to boot. Again flourishing her hand to surrender the point, she nodded. "And right now, we're all rather weak." She pointed out, even through the Shade's checking through one menu and the next. "But, we do all have a pretty common goal at this point - well. Those of us who aren't taking advantage of the situation." She added with a shrug.

Of course, it occurred to her that implicit enmity was going to be a rough barrier to cross without safe zone borders keeping everyone in one piece, but even as she considered it, there was the matter of a common goal altogether. "And the truth of the matter is, simply enough, I could use a little help, but-" Again she gestured towards where the boy had gone with a slight narrowing of her eyes; "-not from people who lose their heads over the first thing to happen."

Step one; make a few allies. If she was ever going to be self-reliant with only her staple spells to work with so far, she was going to need as much help as she could get. As far as she was concerned, better her than anyone else thus far. "So what do you say? Help a girl out, call a truce until things are a little better-resolved?"

Now watch me find a thousand ways
to tell you I love you and we'll be okay...
I'll run to the moon and walk on the sea.
I'll start a new world for you and me.

as he sat against the wall, Blue looked up in the sky as he was flaring with a multitude of emotions that just went to the farthest corners of his mind. He was literally losing it, the fact that he was going to die, and had to put his faith in a game. The fact that his father was right... The fact that Makoto and Kirito were so calm in these situations, and Sora was left to do the same... Was he ready for such a trial? It was just video games. How did it go to something so messed up? At that point, Blue got up off the floor, faced a wall, and screams. GRRRRRRAAAAAHHHH!!!! At that moment, he bashed His forehead against the wall with a force so great, the wall cracked. It reformed to its original state, but Sora didn't. His forehead was bleeding badly. Feeling the blood on his forehead, he smiled, as something came to him. The nerve gear is now 100% in sync with the pain meter. The feeling of death and pain is imminent, and life like. It was definitely like the matrix.

As soon as the blood seeped down Blue's face, he grinned with a sudden realization. Wiping his forehead, Blue looked over to Morwen, Sylvia, and Nightengale. First was Morwen. Hey... You have that 100 xing from when you start off the game? I got an idea! Blue said, waving his hand to Morwen telling her to follow him. He then went over to Nightengale and Sylvia. Okay, before you say anything, you're right and I'm wrong! I was acting like a bîtch, but now's not the time for it! I got an idea. Remember the 100xing you get at the start? We need a way to defend ourselves, so let's go to the shop for a weapon, at least. he told them. If we pool our money together, we can maybe get ourselves some type of weapons to fight. They won't be strong, but we need to forage for supplies at least. Trust me, I'm a survivalist expert. Blue explained to the three. That part about him being a survivalist expert was a damn lie! He just watched discovery channel too much! (Yes, they have discovery channel in Japan!)

Janah looked at the siren as she spoke about a momentary truce, at least in till they got on their feet. Nightengale was a longer, she didn't work with teams, but she was weak. She hated to admit it but she was, she was a level one ranger with basic stats; she'd get filleted. She sighed, then held out her hand to the siren girl. "Fine, but only for now. Name's Nightengale." She hated the fact that she had to team up with someone but she would do anything to survive; she would get out of this death sentence even if it meant she had to go against everything she had ever did. she jumped and hissed once more when the blue haired male bashed his head against something, and she gave him a scournful look.

The scournful look however turned to one of surprise as the male admitted she was right, and then continued to flip out, again. She set her face in her hand before canceling out her menu and walking up to the guy. She gripped him by the shoulders and then shook him, hard, anger in her eyes. "Quiet. You're annoying." She then let go of the male and sighed, facing the two. "Basic items are cheap, they're meant to be available to beginning players. I'm sure we can all get at least one basic item or armor; then worry about it later." She gestured to her starting gear, basically cardboard for all it was worth. "I will need a weapon, not armor. I am a ranger. Melee fighters should focus on armor for now." She pulled up her menu, clearing her throat. Shame filled her, the nightengale didn't team up! But she had to.

"Shall we make a party?" Those words were like a bitter acid that wouldn't get out of her throat.

Beneath the stars, face to face,
I told you I love you, I won't let your heart break...
I'll run to the moon and walk on the sea
I'll start a new world for you and me
                                Sylvia LaCroix
                                The Siren "Phoenix"
And I'll save you when the sky falls...
So together we can break down the walls...
                                Now I'm everywhere, you know,
And I'll never let you go.
'Cause I'll save you when the sky falls.
Can you hear the siren call?

Sylvia blinked; again, the kid from before had made his way back, with insistence on how to go about things no less. Not much a fan of being told what to do, she raised two fingers to her forehead and rubbed it lightly before reaching her marked arm to the boy's shoulder and looking him straight in the eyes. "You... need to relax." She suggested, diplomatically - though marred by the mild irritation of the conversation being interrupted twice now. "Not a bad idea, but it's also an idea just about everyone's gotten already, and I'm not big on basic equipment anyway." She added, snapping the fingers on her left hand to no avail before again rubbing at her forehead with two fingers. "Right... I don't have that anymore."

Which meant she was going to need some manner of weapon after all. Until she could make use of any of her spells, this was going to be a horribly slow affair; lure, stab to death, repeat. "Point taken." She admitted hesitantly. "But you still need to chill out a bit."

"Oh yeah. The name's Sylvia, by the way." She offered to the both of them, looking particularly to Nightengale - as it was only proper to return the gesture of giving a name anyway. A moment later out of the corner of her eye, she noticed another looking rather blank, almost mentally absent. To her she simply tilted her head and gave a curious look, making an effort to read her expression for any sign of either interest or motive.
Now watch me find a thousand ways
to tell you I love you and we'll be okay...
I'll run to the moon and walk on the sea.
I'll start a new world for you and me.

Morwen was listening in on the conversation at first. Even as the one blue-haired boy tried to usher her over, she continued to act like she didn't know they were there. She was hoping to learn more about them before she engaged in conversation with them. As far as she was concerned, though, all she needed to know was that they knew what they were doing.

After a while, she finally decided that they did, and that they would make great allies. They had a plan to work with and they were openly inviting her into it. Of course she was going to accept.

Finally, it seemed as though they had all agreed to the plan and introduced each other. Now, Morwen had figured out two of their names and decided that it was time to introduce herself.

Morwen looked over and saw that the one named Silvia was already looking at her, so she stood up and slowly walked over to Siren and the other two. She put a slight grin on her face and put her hand out to shake.

"My name is Morwen, and I would love to join your party," she stated, with a little bit of hope, knowing that she wouldn't be alone anymore.
