STEP 2: HERE AND BACK AGAINNow, this is an survival rp exercise. The requirement to get a successful artifact is you must post 600 or more words, follow one of each step, and not run out of food. )
- At the start of the quest, each player in your party must roll 5d10 Add up all party member's values. That is the amount of food they carried with them. If your party runs out of food, you will have to head home, it's no good to die out there in the wild... (QUEST FAILED, RETRY AGAIN).
- If your Knight runs out of HP they PASS OUT and are considered OUT of this quest. That means they do not get the award. A group can choose to continue on without him/her or head back and abandon quest to redo.
- If you are doing this with a group, EACH person of the party must roll for each stage once before progressing to the next stage. If there is no post after 8 ooc hours, then you can skip them and they are considered KO'ed.
- Now, all players get one extra reroll. That means if you are solo OR group, and you do not like your roll, you can reroll ONCE. This applies to PER player, and does not consume a turn.
- If you have attempted and FAILED this three times in a row, you may skip all the dysentery rolls meaning, if you roll for that, reroll instantly. This only works for the next expedition you do, and after that resets back to no skips.
- Please make sure ALL party members add this to their ooc post:
Food remaining: Your food remaining/ Your total food value from all party members added. YOUR HP: Your knight's current HP
gaia_crown [ Step 1: The trek forwards ] - Your party starts the trek forwards, the path out of Camelot is extremely dangerous and full of rugged, mountainous terrain. You can also spend unlimited time just rping back and forth before going to your next dice roll.
Rolling a 1: You accidentally slip, almost fall to your demise off a mountain cliff, and drop some of the food! Roll 1d6 to see how much food you lost. Koray sighed as he laid out under the tree. Things were far from peaceful but at the moment the knight was just trying to wrap his mind around things. As he laid there the youth was reminded of his current napping buddy as a tail flopped on his midsection. He chuckled as he looked over at Mortimer... "Bored are we?" he asked as the stallion snorted at him. Koray chuckled again before rising to stroke the steeds mane before looking at the stables. "Ready for another adventure buddy?" Mortimer didn't look ready but didn't deny the human. The two males rose to walk back to the stables. Koray noticing a lack of rations this time around. Maybe others had also gone on adventures today. Usually there was more than this. He tapped the shoulder of a nearby stable hand. "What is with the lack of rations?" The stable hand was blunt. "We noticed that the horses and their Knights were getting a bit...heavy. So we cut back to try and strengthen your resolves.' their face was complete steel. Koray blinked a tad insulted as he picked up the small bag. "Thanks for looking out for us." he said turning to walk away. The stable hand called after him. "You should be...you were one of the those we were getting worried about!" Mortimer gave his knight a wide eyed blink as the youth stormed back muttering..."Stupid no good fools. What do they know? I would like to see one of them try going out there. With all the spiders and stupid cliffs. Not to mention the Ax's..." he muttered more things but the steed stopped listening. As Koray saddled his mount and then swung up into the saddle he sighed. "Come on Mortimer. Lets go..." QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 14 YOUR HP: 50/50

As the two made their way out of Camelot, Koray felt a change in the air. As if something was about which shouldn't have been. He looked around a bit shoulders back and head held high as he looked around. What was this feeling? Dread? No...his palms would be sweating. Nervousness? Nah...he would feel a tremble in his knees. Okay then mind...what was it? He thought...oh. A slight shiver up his spine. It was...Awareness. Proud of himself for figuring it out he smirked. Until the rather large wolf jumped in the middle of the path. Oh...oh crap. He watched the creature lower itself as it growled. Oh double crap. He felt Mortimer's muscles flex and flicker under him. The steed was ready for this. Koray was too as he slipped Yildirim into his right hand. The wolf snapped as it barked at them. It was a slow start as it began running. Koray was bracing himself as the beast leap he brought Yildirim in front of him to stop the jaws. The beast flailed in mid air a wicked claw gouging Koray's upper arm. Koray gave a harsh yelp, throwing the beast into the brush alongside them he felt a lurch as Mortimer sped off. He leaned forward on his steed feeling the wound sluggishly weep. As Mortimer came to a stop within the forest Koray panted harshly. Sliding out of the saddle to lay flat on his back he looked at the wound. It was not too bad...but it was not too good either. He whimpered before lifting himself up to beckon the steed close. "Thankfully we pack medic supplies for things like this." he muttered as he found the materials. Sitting down he whetted cloth to clean the wound. Mournful of the loss of the ale he brought with him. Taking the last of it in one large swig he gave a delighted shudder. "Okay that helps..." he chuckled before dressing the wound in the proper salve and wrappings. Afterwards the youth started to share a small meal with the steed. Mainly fruits as was their habit of sharing. Koray watched a apple roll, making a face he reached out for it. Lifting it to see the spider which had hitched a rid... Koray calmly placed the apple back down. Got up. Then after remounting Mortimer gave a full body shudder. "I hate spiders." They came up to a rather questionable looking pathway, Koray dismounting as he looked it over. "Does not look too bad...I'll walk though just in case..." Mortimer felt this was a bad idea but who was he to judge. He was just the horse. The horse with the bad feeling...but still a horse. As the two walked down the path warily. Koray felt his foot sink into the floor. "What...?" Mortimer heard the hissing before his knight. The horse quickly bucking the knight into the saddle before taking off like the wind. Koray looked back to see the hoard of snakes chasing them. Eyes wide he saw the opening. "Mortimer...JUMP!" Mortimer saw it too and was way ahead of his knight. The steed jumping across the gap as the snakes fell to their doom. Koray looked back..."Holy crap...yeah lets get outta here." The knight then flicked the steed. "Next time be more careful...I scratched my ankle after it sank in..." Mortimer looked back at him as if to say. 'That is NOT my fault.'QUEST STATUS You accidentally step on a booby trap as snakes start chasing you! Why did it have to be snakes... -10 damageFood remaining: 9 YOUR HP: 30/50

As Koray saw their goal ahead he smirked. "Well, Mortimer we're almost there. We did it...you didn't run away this time. I'm really proud of you!" Mortimer just knew this wasn't going to end well. Koray pulled at the ale bottle on his side. "Blasted bag...its caught on the---" He blinked as he heard the rip and then watched the bag fall. "Mortimer. Take the path back down...we gotta find the bag." Mortimer stopped. Looked down the hill where the bag had rolled. Then bucked Koray off after it. Hearing the series of yelps the steed started to walk away.... QUEST STATUS In your excitement to get the artifact, you drop one of the bags of food! You lose ALL OF YOUR FOOD. Micheal was out and about when he spotted.... That kid. just looking at the kid reminded him of getting sick. He looked at the kid, looked up at the hit and just... took pity on him. "Come on." he picked him up and tossed him over his shoulder and just carried him up to the top dumping him in front of the shrine. "Go get the artifact."
