The creatures of shadow were endless, it seemed. Shun found another medium creature, then rushed in to engage it. He kept the blade down low as he charged. Once he was within range, he slashed upwards at its leg. Chel followed Shun into another battle. They still hadn't had more than a moment to talk, but they seemed to agree that the shadows were the main concern.

Chris didn't think much beyond the fact that there was a familiar face fighting the monsters, and he should probably help them. Had he stopped to analyze it, maybe he'd wonder why he kept running into her.
Instead he just drew his sword and readied himself for a fight against a creature he didn't understand.
