Cain was ready to test the waters again, determined to find a way to bring back an artifact. Marching with sword at his side he went to obtain another quest and another map. This was surely the day, he couldn't fail and heaven help him if he caught another sickness. The knight-apprentice shivered in distaste as he thought about the past few nights of said sickness.
Never again.
Map in hand he started out towards the stables, only to pause when stopping the female apprentice from before. "Hey there!" He called loudly, squinting softly and looking a little sheepishly, it had wounded his pride a little the last quest to fail in front of a woman. "Where are you off to this day?" Cain inquired as he moved closer to her, a hand tucking his map into pants as the other smoothed through his hair. "If by chance you aren't busy, care to take on another quest?.."

Loading up his bags of food a grin was past to his riding partner, Nellie had accepted his invitation. Surely two apprentices of Lancelot could pull though? A for up and over and he was mounted, waiting for Nellie, "ready?"

It was beginner's luck really that enabled Nellie to narrowly escape the dysentery that both Cain and Julius suddenly came down with, and retrieve the pair of gauntlets that she now wore over her hands. She was debating if she should head out to locate another artefact on her own or with other apprentice-knights like herself when she heard a familiar voice call out to her. "Cain! Are you better already?"
She was admittedly worried for a moment that both Cain and Julius wouldn't make it. Coming down with an affliction in this day and age was a really serious event that could potentially lead to certain death if one was not careful. "I was thinking of grabbing another quest and heading out again today." She smiled, her gaze curious as to what the male was up to until he posed to her an invitation to join him on another quest.
"Sure!"

She hadn't wasted any time in grabbing some supplies from the guild master and readying her horse so as to avoid holding up the other apprentice any longer than was necessary. Sitting herself atop her steed, she looked at Cain and nodded. "Yup. Let's go."

As they left Camelot in adventures name he smiled pleased to have a companion on the quest. The smile a rare one indeed as he even turned to grace the woman with it, "I trust you are well today?" He didn't want her sick on the journey that could be bad. While turned to address her Cain wasn't obviously looking ahead, which meant as he passes a low hanging limb a nest that could have been avoided easily ended up smacking him right in the face.
The stinging, buzzing horde swarmed him and his horse. Himself falling off but luckily grabbing most of the food he held with him before his horse ran off. "Damn it!" He cursed, standing up to examine his stings before peering to Nellie, "would you mind if we rode double?" He couldn't walk the rest of the way he would die.
