He helped create the song "Blue," specifically the tune and the hook line, "da ba dee, da ba di." History : Lobina struck out on her own at a rather young age. She was born somewhere in the middle of a string of siblings and though she was close to her mother felt like her presence had no significance to the family. With that gut feeling she always felt a stronger than typical need to find herself and what made her special. She became what one such as her father might call a rebellious child, but she remained responsible and aware of her surroundings and situation at all times. Due to her strained relationship with her father, whom enjoyed order above all else, she felt it best to do her soul-searching away from the small band of centaurs. Away from that safety only found in numbers, Lobina learned quickly how to provide for herself and to guard and fight against predatory types. But she also learned that she was not the only young taur around, and from their influence learned that tight self-control can be just as constricting as an overbearing parent or even simply fear. Needless to say, she has gotten herself into some precarious, dangerous, silly, and embarrassing situations. She likes to relate some of her more entertaining stories to her mother and siblings. This is significant because many more calamities and strange twists of luck befall her than anyone else around her, and so she sees it as her lot in life. History : Bedisa grew up in a diverse family, spanning both equine and feline branches. That said, she and Zeru were probably the closest in age and found it only natural to stay close as they grew. His lighthearted outlook helped hers to remain intact, though sometimes when she has a bad day the strain begins to show. Secretly, in recent years she enjoys the confusion suffered by others when she and Zeru interact. Having such a large and imposing escort usually scares other males away. It's just safer that way. There would be no awkwardness, nobody laughing at her. At least with Zeru she can trust that he will always laugh with her. History : Zeru's family has a tendency to intermix with cattaurs throughout many generations. Sometimes bets are taken as to whether a pregnancy will result in claws or hooves. As a result, Zeru has a very open mind when it comes to love, which he says sees no boundaries. Another result is some equines have feline mannerisms and vice versa. Zeru's fun-loving and playful attitude can rightly be attributed to this. His favorite cousin is Bedisa. Her strange tendency to get into trouble, trip on imaginary things (or her paws), clumsiness, and general awkwardness have been a learning experience for both. He will half-watch, half-listen, rarely alerting others that he is watching them, because he isn't. He likes the company without interacting, and he likes the background noise of others having fun. Dislikes : large groups of other taurs Mannerisms : Making only soft sounds at most, Wayra has a deliberate, slinky way of moving. His eyes are intense and focus, as if everything is a potential target. It probably is. Theme Song : "Tea in the Sahara," by Sting Colorist : Revel1984 Obtained : semi-custom, Apr. 2015 Name Significance : "Wayra" is a name meaning "wind" in the Quechua language, which is used in the Andes mountains. This brings to mind the wind blowing through stunted trees and dry mountainous landscapes. History : Part of Bedisa and Zeru's clan, Wayra is the last surviving member of his branch of the family tree. His parents had no other children, and he does not plan to be. The possibility of this bloodline's extinction does not really bother him, though relatives have suggested (some more forcefully than others) that he continue on the line.
