Xarnith was told to go out and help gather things. He was told to keep an eye on the youngllings who tagged along. What was he...a babysitter?!? The male peeled the wind youngling from his shoulder to turn them towards their parent before bapping them on the bum to sent them off. He sighed as he straightened, yeah...he was a babysitter...a glorified babysitter. He looked around then walked over to a tree, scaling it easily as he brought himself to sit on a branch. He took up his post of lookout... If his eyes chanced upon someone in need of aid...of any sort, he'd most likely leap into action....

San'thari came down the path, looking more tired than anything. She had a satchel full of herbs she needed to dry out, grind down, make a paste from or powered depending on what she was going for, and honestly? The Leaf female just wanted to lay down on a bed and sleep for two days. She looked a little worse for wear. Camping hadn't exactly gone as she planned. Some of the wildlife decided to try to make themselves at home to her things, her satchel had bite marks on it, and even a patch job. Some of the more uncommon herbs were gone, no doubt settling in something's stomach. She was hungry, tired, and just wanted someplace safe. She stopped right there in the middle of this traveled path and took a deep breath before pushing her hands through her hair, pulling it down and massaged at her scalp. "Oh great," she whispered. "A headache. Just what I needed."

Xarnith blinked as he saw the Leaf female. Watching her a bit longer than he most likely should have the male dropped down to stand beside the tree he had been sitting in. Why was a female out here alone? Where was her brother or escort? Who the heck would let her come out here alone? Why was he still standing there like an idiot and not helping?!? All these question flickered through his mind, the last spurning him to walk out with purpose; "Excuse me miss. What are you doing out here alone?" Great conversation started...

A voice startled her and San'thari looked up, ready to just run away before she quickly told herself to calm down. If she was being attacked, this... man wouldn't have called out to her, right? Was that the way the world worked? Her hair settled around her, a bit longer than her shoulder blades and she looked him in the face. "Trying to get to the nearest town or settlement?" She was honest. "I want an inn."

Xarnith crossed his arms in thought, "There are none, save for a small group just down this path. I should know...its my kin. My name is Xarnith. If you would like I can escort you there for a short stay. We don't mind a guest for a few days. You look like you need the rest." He blinked with a straight face. He meant no offense but said in his tone and with his face...one could only guess the true meaning behind those words.

She shifted a little and bit down on her lip. Had she offended him? His tone was sharp, sort of. That or she was just honestly that tired. San'thari might not be the sharpest when it came to reading people's intentions and tones. She was by herself for so many hours and she honestly preferred it like that. "Oh. I'm.. San'thari. I ..wouldn't mind an escort.." Well, she did, but she didn't want to be rude. Being around a crowd made her uneasy, but she would have to get used to it sooner or later, wouldn't she? She put her hands together in front of her. She was already starting to feel a bit anxious and self-conscious. "...I have been walking for a while.."

The male looked her over, Leaf Tribe. Female. Alone. Three factors that he took into account as he made his choice on actions. As San was Leaf Tribe, he knew she was resourceful. This was her home turf the young woman was more than capable of surviving here. She had amazing green eyes the male noticed without much thought. He blinked as he thought of the next fact. Female. That alone screamed at his moral code to assist. Despite the fact she could most likely out maneuver him in this terrain. Finally....Alone. That was where he drew the line. No one, regardless of gender, should travel alone. That just asked for bandits to take advantage of them. He gritted his teeth then gave her a semi bow. "Would you accept my offer to carry you to where my clan is currently camped? I don't mind assisting you..."

San'thari could probably outrun him. Probably manipulate the area to benefit her, but honestly she was too tired for anything right now. If someone were to try to steal from her she couldn't do a thing about it. The girl didn't even really look like she was paying attention to anything but getting to bed. "...I don't mind," she answered at length, sighing slowly and nodded. "Thank you for your... hospitality." San didn't know if that was the right word or not, but it fit. "Xarnith..." She blinked slowly, repeating it to remember later and just took a deep breath. "I'll repay you by making any medications you might need before I head out tomorrow? For headaches, to stop bleeding.. Things like that." She couldn't cure poisoning or really fight off infection to well yet, but she was trying.

Xarn nodded then knelt down to offer her his back, "Here climb on. I can carry you there." he wasn't new to this sort of thing. He did it all the time with most of the young females in his clan. Most of them attempting to flirt with him...not that he realized this. He was pretty dense....

She paused when he offered his back and just blinked at him. The look on her face was similar to the look if a person grew an extra head. She wrung her hands together and then toyed with her pinky before sighing and nodding. Well, might as well. She was starting to ache. Slowly she wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his hips, hoping she wasn't too heavy or choking him. This was embarrassing. Slowly she looked to the side and just tried to focus on other things and swallowed hard. Ohhh this was awkward. "S-sorry," she whispered softly, "if I'm heavy.."

Feeling the female secure herself, the male locked his hands under her rear end. Standing straight he felt everything shift into place. The female was well built from what he was feeling. Strong muscles in her legs signaled the amount of time she spent walking. A tight core was proof of her efficient diet while on the road. Still enough body fat that she wasn't overweight, nor was she under...all in all. The female was perfect for a traveling mother. Xarn chuckled, "I'm used to a small hoard of younglings on my back...daily. I'm sure I'll survive. Besides...your not that heavy. Healthy from what I'm feeling. Perfect if you ever decide to start a family while traveling." The fact his words could be taken in a different almost insulting manner was over his head as he started on the smooth walk back to the camp. The male spoke as they walked. "Gran is the leader of our group. She'll help you with anything you want to know. Don't mind the leers of Lor or Noh...their the twin Guards you would be most likely to meet first. Harmless if you say Gran's right behind them."

Traveling mother. If San'thari was a mind reader and read his thought she would have said something against that. She was no mother. Children weren't honestly in her future, at least for now. She hadn't gotten her medicinal skills up, she hadn't gotten ...She wasn't ready. Nope. All she knew right now is that she was wrapped around Xarn like a vine because she was scared of falling. And then he complimented her and said that and her face went a bright red and she ducked her head down in embarrassment. It wasn't insulting, but just very, very embarrassing and reminded her why she never really interacted with anyone. Swallowing thickly she just nodded a little as he continued to talk. So he watched younglings? That was... kind of adorable. Slowly she loosened her grip on his throat so he could breath and just took a deep breath. "I'll.. remember that."

As the male came closer he heard sounds and stopped as twin males dropped. One had the top part of his hair in two tails while the other had the top layer up in a fanned twist. Both wore identical smiles as bright blue gray eyes glittered. Xarn's tone was even, "Lor....Noh. Come to greet me again I see." The two moved as one as they crossed their arms to speak. "Gran's looking for you, Xarnith. Who's your friend?" Xarn muttered to San as he let her down, "They speak as one all the time. Its irritating." he then spoke up. "She needs to see Gran. She'a a traveler. Back. Off." With that he took her hand gently to lead her into the small camp. The younglings who dashed by all chorused out a welcome and hellos to them. Xarn merely waving as they walked further in. He seemed to be scanning the surroundings. Smilng as he spotted a gray head, "Gran's this way. We actually have two different Leaders. The one everyone sees is Leader Faro....Gran's his Mother. She leads the group when no one's looking. So, while most larger groups are taken to Faro. Single travelers like yourself are brought to Gran. She likes one on one...hates the mutli-person meets. Says too many voices drown out the real words..."

San'thari blinked and looked startled as twins appeared from basically no where. She hadn't even sensed them before sighing. She was let down and San righted her clothing before they asked who she was in a creepy sort of way. "San'thari," she half whispered to them. The girl kind of huddled against Xarn, keeping up with him as she was led further into the camp, and just watched her step. Her head was tucked to her chest the entire time, like she was too startled to really talk to anyone. Which, given she had mild social anxiety, was pretty much the truth. One on one meetings were better for her, anyway. "That's nice. I like... just meeting with one person at a time." She sighed slowly and then gave a little smile. "..She sounds like me."

Saint Sergio Two away from finished!!! Xarnith watched the girl before coming up to a rather youthful looking woman, "Gran." he called out. The elder wind female turned, aside from her wrinkles around her eyes, not much idenfied her as an Elder per say. She smiled brightly... "New friend, little Xarn?" she asked. Her voice aged and weathered. "Yes. She needs a few days to rest. She's willing to impart her knowledge of medicine with us for the time." Xarn said. The youth flinched as Gran smacked the side of his head. "Lad! Manners, the lass can talk for herself and has her own voice. Hush up and go tend to the youngen's." she scolded. Xarn grumbled.
