Laeh hurried along as fast as her little legs could take her; though she had no idea where she was hurrying to. She simply had a feeling something exciting was going to happen and she wanted to get to wherever it was going to happen as quickly as possible. It could be the start of a new adventure! She leaped and bounded over rocks and fallen logs, grunting as she fought off invisible foes that tried to get in her way.
Her little wings fluttered and she let out a 'roar', charging the final foe.
"Be gone, beast! You will not stop me!"

Myrllin peeked around a tree, his headwings held aloft in curiosity at the clamor ahead of him. He didn't quite make it all the way around the trunk when a loud, higher-pitched bellow sent him cowering back behind it again. What was that?
The voice that rang out clear and bright answered his question.
Squinching his eyebrows together, Myrllin tiptoed out from behind the tree, his head tilted to the side a bit as he looked at the fierce pink-and-cream mare before him. "I am no beast," he said, headwings flapping to send a little buffet of wind in her direction. "I am a wizard, and it looks like you are, too." Nodding to her, Myrllin flapped his headwings again. Hers were so dark he had nearly missed them in the shadow of the forest. "What are you hunting beasts for?" he asked, taking a step further forward. Was she a knight? His sister had told him all kinds of stories, but he had never thought them to be real before.

Laeh was slightly taken back by the arrival of the other - she hadn't really expected to fight an actual battle just yet.. She relaxed a little as he spoke - it appeared her was friendly enough. She giggled as the wind blew over her, whipping her hair and she sent her own back towards him.
"Why? Well, the beasts were surely to attack you. I was hunting them to keep you safe," she said, taking a step forward and giving a slight bow. "I am no wizard. My name is Laeh and I'm an adventurer, a knight. Slayer of dragons and rescuer of princesses" Her wings wiggled. "Of wizards, too, now!" She circled him. "A wizard, hm? What kind of wizard are you?" The putti had no met any real wizards though she had fought many in her stories. She wondered if perhaps she should be more cautious. Did wizards trick their victims or were they good in nature?

Myrllin grinned as she sent a flutter of wind toward him. You are a wizard! he thought, and nearly wiggled with excitement. "I see no beasts," he replied, looking around with wide eyes. "But I suppose you vanquished them all, right? Thank you for the rescue." His grin turned to a wry smile.
"What do you mean, 'what kind of wizard am I?'" he asked, not understanding. She had just proven she was a wizard! The fact that she had just said she wasn't one escaped him - she must simply be in denial, right? "I'm the same kind as you - a wind wizard. I'm Myrllin, by the way. What kind of adventure are you on right now? I mean, besides slaying beasts." Tilting his head at her curiously, he let his tail wiggle a little, the only indicator of his enthusiasm at meeting this other who seemed so like him.

Laeh raised a brow at the stallion for a brief second as he questioned her. It was odd, his logic but she was not one to dash dreams or crush spirits. "Oh! I don't think I've ever been called a wizard. That does explain why I can do that," she nodded, as if suddenly believing it herself (which, knowing Laeh, likely wasn't a stretch).
She puffed up her chest. "Of course I vanquished them all. I'd never let any harm come to such a nole wizard," she gave a bow and if she was anyone else it would have come off as mocking but the mare was most sincere. She straightened, a smile spreading across her features once more. "No adventure in particular. I go where I'm needed. What about you? Wizards go on quests, don't they?"

Chuckling for a moment at being called noble, Myrllin shuffled his feet a little. He did his best to return the bow, but it was clumsy and halting - he wasn't used to such formality. He was glad that she acknowledged her magic, though; he would have felt weird if she had left it where it was. "What kind of things are you needed for?" he asked, curious. "As for me... I haven't really gone on a quest yet. I want to meet other wizards, though. So far I've only met you, and this other one who could make sparks. She called herself an imp? Have you heard of those before?" The mare had been a curious creature, and even curiouser was the fact that their magic had disappeared when it had collided. She had wings on her head, too, even stranger.

"Why, a knight is always needed on a quest! Someone to protect the quester." Laeh shook her head, wings fluttering."No, never met or heard of an imp. Must be nice meeting other wizards, though!" She stretched before moving around a bit - not particularly used to being still for this long. "Are you going to meet others? Wizards, I mean." She kicked at the ground, trampling an imaginary foe with her little hooves. Looking up, she eyed him with a raised brow.
"Could be dangerous, you know? Not all wizards are nice, I'm sure."

Myrllin nodded enthusiastically. "So far meeting them has been fun! They've been really nice to me." A moment after speaking, he ducked his head, bashful. He paused to try to compose himself from the accidental flattery he'd just spoken, then looked back up at the bright mare. "I'm trying to meet other wizards!" he said, smiling wide. "Sure, there could be dangerous ones out there... But that's what knights help with, right? You're all wonderful and rescue us when we get in trouble?" His eyebrows were raised innocently, curious about what exactly knights did besides fight off beasts and protect people - did they have some special ability? Courage, maybe? He knew that he sometimes lacked that... Especially when it came to talking to big soquili. He may have been raised among them, but the ones he'd met outside of his family didn't seem to take him as seriously, which was disappointing. But! Here he was standing in front of somebody who seemed to be taking him very seriously, and his headwings danced a little in excitement at the prospect.
