Dante lazily sat in his secluded back yard, though no one could see him past the tall fence and trees and grass on the other side that perfectly hid his house almost. His backyard was a lot neater, having the grass been moved and watered, flowers surrounding the edges as well as other plants. Taking care of the plants gave his life a purpose, until Ebony dropped by to give him more food and water to live off of that day. Though his house was well decorated, it still lacked the needed services, like running water and electricity, so as beautiful as it was, it was also rather pointless. Still, he had nowhere else to stay. So he laid in the sun sleepy, the warm breeze providing him comfort, drifting into a delicate sleep- when suddenly his chest gets an unwelcome ache, as he's kicked across the yard, three dark figures having appeared. He stands up quickly, and confused, before seeing exactly who his attackers are. His ears folded down against his head as he hissed, though he knew he couldn't take on all three kidnappers by himself.

Dante blinks in confusion as the man dressed in black appeared and mocked the kidnappers, who rolled their eyes in annoyance. "Great, more set backs..." one of them complained before pulling out a gun and aiming it. "Kid, we don't have time for this. We have a job to take out this kid, along with it's two other siblings. Run along, or we'll take you in for extra money."

Dante slowly backs away from the man in black, still confused and slightly scared.

Dante watched as the man in black removed his helmet, revealing he was a neko too, which just doubled his confusion, not as much as the gunshot that made him jump from the other neko. Although he was capable of speech, Dante was often a mute around strangers, so he couldn't bring himself to speak, instead, just kept a safe distance from everyone as he watched the chaos that was about to unfold.

The man growled as his gun was shot out of his hand before cursing. The two others took out guns and open fired at Shade and Jade. "Great, more rats we can exchange for money."

The men glared up at the nekos, before glancing back to the third man that had his gun shot out of his hand. He stood back away from them, before running across the yard to where Jade had dropped her own gun and picked it up, before grinning at Dante. "Now it's just you, wussycat."

Dante hissed lowly as the kidnapper approached slowly, before taking out ducking just as the man shot at him. The man had barely missed, grazing his ear before aiming again, however, this time Dante ran straight towards him, knocking him backwards and making him drop the gun before racing over towards his tree and hiding up in it's canopy.

The man glared before pulling a pistol and firing at both Jade and Shade rapidly as he backed away. "Stay the hell away!"

Dante calmly watches from his tree, holding his ear tenderly as it began to throb and bleed.

The man spat blood out at the cat, glaring even more, though he hadn't quite given up. He swiftly kicked out at the neko holding him back, catching his stomach and using the fence to push the cat away even farther.

Dante studied the neko down below his tree, glancing around slowly before looking down at her again. Slowly, he crawled down from the tree, sitting upon the lowest branch as he studied the neko further, unsure if he should get completely down yet. He glanced over to Shade and the man fighting, watching for a bit, before looking down at Jade again, his good ear twitching as he kept a tight hold on the other.

The man groans, before head-butting the neko right on his shoulder. He once again kicked out at Shade, anger and pain flowing threw him. "Bloody ******** cat, won't you go away!?"

Dante slowly climbs down off the tree completely, nervously looking over Jade before offering a weak smile. His gaze wandered over to Shade and the kidnapper again, before locking eyes with Jade once more. He wondered how she knew his name, and what her name was, though he didn't physically say a word.
