Okay gang the poop is starting to get real around Gaia. Durem is about to be attaacked by Nyx and his followers are growing by the day. We can thank Slick being in the manga for that bit of free advertising for them. At any rate we need to ramp up our efforts in getting more supporters. We need to overcome the stigma of the Gambino name, the fact that two of our GOSH family nearly destroyed Gaia, and the badmouthing of our patron goddess by her own son. We need support behind Gino if Gaia stands a chance at surviving this war. So what I need from all of you is ways we can get more people to join our cause. We are so few in number right now and numbers will give us a fighting chance. This just might lead into sides for the summer event so we need to get on it as soon as we can.
Share your ideas for getting the good word of the GCA and Gino out there.

I think it might be smart to make a gaia temple in the gcd. Then we would have two threads to help us recruit, and it would be a good counter to the nyxians.
Plus, we basically already have a good set up that we can just copy paste easily. Maybe add a section about monk apparel and bam we are set up!
If we do it, I'd like to make a mule called terra mater abbot or abbess and share the pw with the crew for updating purposes, because I have too much going on.

Also I agree with Hassli, we need a thread in the GCD to counter the Nyx cult. Count me in biggrin

A temple for Gaia sounds like a great idea.
I'd happily be one of Gaia's Shrine Maidens xp
Maybe we should look for some affiliates? I could see if the Sailor Moon group that I'm trying to frequent would be interested.

I get that the evil side is the better side in their eyes but they can't be swayed by a few slick turns of the tongue. Because even with what he's saying it sounds like Nyx will still kill everyone in Durem just like he did Franco the Fish.
While I do want to go ahead with this I want to wait a day or so because I'd like to try and get some fresh graphics for the GCD. There's nothing wrong with how it looks now but it would be nice to have a cohesive look between the two threads.
EDIT: I got to thinking. Would Terra Matter Abbey (the name we use here in the guild) really drive it home that this thread is for the Goddess Gaia or should we rename it to something like The Temple of Gaia. I like the name we have now but I wonder if it needs to be something more obvious. We don't need to change it but I do wonder about that.

I think we could have the Gaia Spirit Week group be an affiliate, they're pretty active in the After Pary thread.

Hm... Well, we could also set up relief situations, welcome in people negatively affected by Nyx. Efforts of peace are better accepted than efforts of attack.

Temple of Gaia is probably the better choice for the GCD.
