Lacunosa Town is a town in the north-east of the Unova region. To the north-east of Lacunosa Town lies the Giant Chasm, which is a location that has affected the residents of the town greatly over the years. According to legend, a long time ago, a large meteor came from the sky containing a terrifying monster. It was said that at night the monster would appear in the town along with the cold winds and take away humans and Pokémon to eat them. The residents of the town surrounded Lacunosa Town in a wall to keep the monster out. A rule was then set on the town that forbade anyone from leaving at night and encouraged people to stay in their homes. Even though residents no longer believe this old story, they still stay inside of their houses at night...

Arriving in Lacunosa Town there was something strange in the air. Returning both of his Pokemon he walked around the interesting town which he noticed was surrounded by a tall wall. Before going to a small area of tall grass Simon went up to one of the towns people walking about outside. "Hello, what's with the walls?""You must be new to town," the man said with a thin smile, "Just an old custom. They say a terrible monster comes at night so not only did they put up a wall but no one goes outside at night. The monster was later determined to be Kyurem but still no one goes out at night." Simon nodded and thanked the man before heading off, maybe once it got dark he would stay inside as well.

Heading over to the PC Simon removed his newly caught Tangela for a moment to feed it one of his rare candies. Since it already knew the move Ancient Power it evolved right there. The larger pile of vines was called, "Tangrowth the vine Pokemon. Its vines grown so profusely that, in the warm season, you can't even see its eyes." Giving Tangrowth a hug Simon returned him to the PC for now.

As they continued to search for Pokemon to train against Simon took notice of another large rock. However this one wasn't shaped like a sun but a moon. Scanning the Pokemon with his Pokedex Simon smiled at the data, "Lunatone the meteorite Pokemon. Lunatone becomes active around the time of the full moon. Instead of walking, it moves by floating in midair. The Pokemon's intimidating red eyes cause all those who see it to become transfixed with fear." Lunatone would be a perfect addition to his team, a rock Pokemon who still had an air of ghost-likeness to him..it?

Continuing on the path Simon looking into the sky, it was darkening so soon he'd have to go inside in order to get dinner and some sleep. There was a call from the trees as yet another bird Pokemon attacked. "Swellow the swallow Pokemon. Swellow flies high above our heads, making graceful arcs in the sky. This Pokemon dives at a steep angle as soon as it spots its prey. The hapless prey is tightly grasped by Swellow's clawed feet, preventing escape."

In order to preserve power she switched the power to low knowing the only people to come in would be outside trainers since the town knew that night was staying outside. Nodding to her Simon went to the beds and claimed one for himself setting his backpack on it and taking off his shoes. With that he went over and grabbed a bag of chips before laying down on the bed. Sending out Houndour he lets the dog Pokemon lay at his feet in order to rest as well. Noibat came out as well, only he flew up and hung upside down to sleep as well.

The next morning Simon rose and the trio went out into the just lightening town. Munching into a breakfast bar the went into the tall grass surprising a wild "Golbat the bat Pokemon. Golbat bites down on prey with its four fangs and drinks the victim's blood. It becomes active on inky dark moonless nights, flying around to attack people and Pokemon." From the information he really wanted one but honestly he'd rather catch it at Zubat level so he could eventually get a Crobat, for now it was a battle for experience.
