Cianwood City is located in on the far western edge of Johto, apparently on a totally different landmass than the rest of the region. Due to Cianwood City being at a dead end location in the Johto region, it was not a popular destination. However, since the opening of the Safari Zone located to the west of the city, it has started to grow more popular. Tales of Lugia and the whirlpools it creates circulate among the sailors that stop in this port town.

As soon as they reached Cianwood, Leon thanked Krystal for her help and returned her to her ball to get some well deserved rest. Kai had swam the whole way beside the lapras, and was now basking on the beach lazily. Inari had been restless as they were surfing, but now that they were back on land, she was doing better. Now that they were here, Leon finally got to planning out how training for the gym would go. He had a few incenses he could burn for it, too.
