Diglett's Cave is a long tunnel dug by wild Diglett and Dugtrio in Kanto. The northern entrance is on Route 2, south of Pewter City, and the southern entrance is on Route 11, near the eastern edge of Vermilion City (although in Generation II it was located within Vermilion City). The passage is famous for connecting these two routes. Regardless of what Generation a Trainer encounters Diglett's Cave in, the Trainer must pass through the cave at one point or another, either to continue the storyline or to access the western Kanto cities of Pewter and Viridian, as well as Pallet Town.

First steps into the Tunnel and Jimmy was attacked by hoards of Diglett. But then he realized that they wernt attacking, they were just digging. it wasn't until one diglette commanded the group to stop and wait. The glare in its eye's let jimmy know, this was one he wanted to catch. And it wasn't like jimmy had a choice. the Pokémon had him Arena Trapped! Jimmy didn't want this to turn into a gauntlet match with digletts, so jimmy called out Nala. Quickly Mega evolving, Nala was ready for battle. The Diglett tried to use magnitude, but Charizard was too fast and a solar beam made it faint, also caused the other pokemon to run away. Jimmy threw the Greatball and it shook three times before finally stopping. the pokemon was caught! Jimmy Opted for the pokemon to be sent to the PC for now.

Jimmy decided now was a good time to train to go against Erika. JImmy decided to light his odd incense to attract pokemon. Specifically grass types. it wasn't log before pokemon were attracted to the auroma. the first pokemon was a Bulbasaur, who didn't even seem to want to battle. Next was a Treecko to fall prey to the Odd incense trap. Another flamethrower was more than enough to Overwhelm the grass type pokemon it was attracting. and the Pokeballs were barely shaking before they dinged in submission.

Soon after turtwig, a Snivy appeared! It went from training, to just capturing the rare grass pokemon that were normally afraid to show themselves. a flamethrower and a pokeball seemed to be the routine, and like the rest, Snivy was sent to the Pokémon Pc.

A young Pansage was the next to be captured. it tried jumping over Charizard, but a Air Slash and a pokeball took care of that problem. Jimmy then realized that the odd incense attracted only unevolved pokemon.
