 Find your inner peace. Follow the Tao.Roughly thought of as the flow of the universe, or as some essence or pattern behind the natural world, the Tao keeps the universe balanced and ordered. The Tao is the understanding or intuitive knowing of "life" or present awareness that can not be grasped full heartedly as just a concept but known nonetheless.

The thought that everything happens for a reason and is essentially predetermined envelopes life. Everything simply is and always will be. One cannot exist without the other. The flow of time cannot be altered yet the past cannot be forgotten. Please keep in mind these concepts upon choosing to join. Delun is a neutral God.  About the TempleThe main temple of worship and most frequented place for meditation is Zen Temple. It features luscious gardens nearby sources of running water. Small braziers line the pathways, seemingly always lit no matter the time of day. Some areas even a whiff of calming incense can be smelled. Copies of various texts are readily available for any who wish to progress on their teachings. The whole temple is worked into the surrounding nature as not to take away from its natural beauty and to stand among it in harmony.
Small shrines can be found throughout the land, even some smaller shrines being dedicated within followers' home. These smaller shrines are places of meditation and to continue teachings. They are not as lavish as the main temple, often featuring calming features and a yin yang displayed.
A select few locations focus on both mental and physical discipline. Here followers train in the art of self defense in addition to learning the usual teachings. They are never to take up their fists or weapon among another without reason. This reason primarily is in self-defense or in defense of another worthy enough. Not every cause is one of "right" or "wrong". It is here that you learn how to properly pick your battles and ensure you are following the path set out for you.
Locations:
Zen Temple - Main place of worship. This is where Pockettu go to be heard by Delun and to gain acceptance.
Tea House - A place of gathering. It is often good practice to invite others for tea. If a Pockettu is older, it is polite to pour the tea for them out of respect. Also, if a quarrel occurs, it is customary to invite the Pockettu for tea and pour them a cup. This is seen as a good way to begin serious apologies and show regret.
Gardens - Various gardens are located in Delun's realm. Each garden is themed to reflect the five different elements. The main garden by Zen Temple consists of a proper blend of each garden.
Training Grounds - There are two major training grounds. The Yin Temple is where one can go to learn defensive martial arts. The arts learned here are not limited to just one style. Trainers encourage Pockettu to try out different styles and benefit from the ones that work best for them. Yet learning ones they have difficulties with can assist them should a fight ever occur as they would know how to block or defend hits from that style more effectively. The Yang temple is where one can go to learn weapons training. There are 18 different weapons a Pockettu could learn how to use. Each weapons master can teach and help a Pockettu learn to use a specific weapon to its fullest potential.

Qiang [ancient spear] - DelunAbout DelunDelun's history begins around the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors period. It was there he began to appear to those who were notable beings, whether it be a family, a ruler, a commoner or a sage. He would seek to protect this being as long as they remained worthy of such protection. In later eras, he was often appointed high ranking positions in courts which the Tao favored, enlightening those he could and punishing those who had malicious intent. Back in those days he was a peaceful spirit, the very model of what a Qilin should be. Protecting the innocent and punishing the wicked. Decades went by, and the heart of man had begun to change. Virtues were lost and Delun felt it wrong to blindly defend such corrupt creatures. One emperor in particular who worked his way into such high ranking position by killing the current emperor. This enraged Delun. Reading such hatred in the murderous emperor's heart and fearing the intentions this man had, Delun took up arms and killed the would-be new emperor in cold blood.
Everything must happen for a reason. The future cannot exist without change. And without change time cannot flow. The peaceful life Delun had known was gone, washed away with the blood he had spilled. Before then he had never killed a mortal. He was not horrified by his acts. He knew the emperor would bring more harm to the land and people than good. That the emperor wasn't destined for that path but sought to foolishly grasp it anyways. Yet human's minds and hearts are fragile things. So easily swayed and forgetful of the past or blind to the obvious. The priests who once saw Delun as a positive, serene and prominent figure quickly turned against him. Unknown to Delun at the time, these priests had been bribed all along by the newly-deceased-would-be emperor. Details which he would find out after the events unfolded.
They had cornered Delun who refused to fight them, stating that he had done what the Heavens wished of him. The proper path had been taken. Yet his words of wisdom and truth fell on deaf greed filled ears. The priests banned together and attempted to exorcise Delun. Their exorcism failed yet the shenfu [talisman] still remains on Delun to this day. It is a reminder to Delun who despite having the power to remove it, keeps it, to ensure that order is always kept despite the cost. Regardless if it is a popular opinion or not. If it is the way then it will happen within time. To remember - time is ever flowing. No one can stop it.
Delun seeks to enlighten other Pockettu who would accept his wisdom. He wishes to help those through their paths and assist those who have gone astray. He also believes that every Pockettu should know a way to defend themselves because unfortunately where there is good there is also evil. Light cannot exist without shadow.
Personality wise, Delun is quiet and observing. His thoughts at times tend to be cynical, almost sardonic in nature. Yet he keeps these thoughts to himself. Such thoughts are a reminder of what corruption there is in the world. Yet when someone pure of heart and intention crosses Delun's path, his faith in humanity is resorted. He will not hesitate to protect those worthy of protection or punish those wicked enough to receive his wrath. His judgement usually fair, at times, can be considered extreme. Yet in the end it will never deviate someone from their chosen path.
Delun's powers consist of being able to draw power and magic from the five major elements. His medium of choice is a shenfu, otherwise known as a talisman. However he can breathe fire and summon lightening to strike down the wicked if needed. If he is unable to call upon a fulu, he will resort to defending himself with a qiang [spear], which he has trained proficiently with. Akin to a qilin, Delun also chooses not to walk on grassy plains, often floating above the ground or choosing to walk on water. He also will not eat meat and sticks mostly to fruits, grains and vegetables as his diet.

Qilin of the TaoDelun's limited is a qilin. A mythical hooved chimerical creature known in Chinese and other East Asian cultures, said to appear with the imminent arrival or passing of a sage or ruler. Qilin are considered a good omen thought to occasion prosperity or serenity.

Demi Gods of the Tao
Esper is Delun's first Demi-Goddess. She appeared shortly after Delun's arrival and seeks to help others find tranquility in their lives. Esper acts as a assistant to Delun whenever possible.

 Please keep in mind that no Cursed Pockettu can follow Delun. While Delun is a neutral God, those with wicked hearts should not follow him.
Followers can originate from many different walks of life. Although Delun is a Chinese deity, other nationalities may follow him. However those who have misguided purposes, wicked hearts, or seek personal gain should not try to become a follower of the qilin.
