It seemed like centuries since Zen Temple had last opened its doors. Many had forgotten it even existed. Those who remembered began to give up hope that it would ever show life again. Yet, one night the abandoned braziers that decorated the temple began to light. Their pattern followed invisible footsteps from the beginning of the temple's territory. Which each step another brazier was set aglow. Fountains that no longer flowed with life began to trickle. At the top of the staircase leading to the main part of the temple appearing a figure out of thin air. His figure glistened under the moonlight as he turned to gaze out upon the lands he was so familiar with. It would be a long road to rebuild the temple to its former beauty. But, it was a task the figure was willing to take upon his shoulders. A few more moments passed before the figure turned and entered the temple. A long slumber had finally come to an end. The Zen Temple was no longer a figment of lure. Delun, the God of the Tao, awaited people who sought their true path in life.

Before finding her way to Zen Temple, Esper wandered the land, trying to help others find tranquility through meditation. Upon hearing that Zen Temple was showing signs of activity, she made her way here to offer her services to the god within. Are you aware of who you truly are? Or are you still misguided?: She feels that she knows who she is, but she admits to still needing a little bit of guidance herself every now and again when dangerous situations arise. What do you wish from seeking my enlightenment?: She hopes to learn more about being at peace with everything around and to try to help others learn as well. RP Potential?: If muse allows, yes.

Delun did not hear footsteps approach yet he felt a calming presence enter Zen Temple. He carefully placed a bamboo scroll down on the table before him and rose to his feet. "Welcome, Esper...", a small smile graced his lips before he bowed to her. "May you guide others in finding the tranquility they seek and in turn I shall assist you with yours." He gestured out to the courtyards and beyond. "There is no rankings here in Zen Temple. Simply strive to better yourself and live your path to the fullest."

Your journey has lead you to Zen Temple... Pockettu's Name: Huang Chia Username: Yousei Akki Which path did your formerly take? Huang has no previous history that he can recall beyond waking up recently. It is like life before now was all a dream that he just can't recall. He knows that he has several minor interests, but is sure that with time and reflection he will discover the path he's meant to walk. Are you aware of who you truly are? Or are you still misguided?: Huang is searching for his purpose and path. What do you wish from seeking my enlightenment?: He believes that by following Dulan he will find the right path he is best suited for. In addition he feels that there is never a end to enlightenment. Just because you discover one truth doesn't mean you know it all. RP Potential?: Oh I'm sure Huang will be happy to sit and chat or listen to his chosen God. How else is he supposed to learn new things?

Delun looked Huang Chia over before meeting his gaze. "Welcome, Huang Chia... The path is long for you as your journey yet begins. If you ever seek guidance, please call upon me." A faint nod of the head with a small smile and the qilin God outstretched his hand towards the courtyard. "There is plenty to see when you are ready."

She just remembers being angry at everything and everyone all the time. Are you aware of who you truly are? Or are you still misguided?: She is still misguided, but at least she is trying to find a different path to follow. What do you wish from seeking my enlightenment?: By following Delun, Mishi believes that she will find her true purpose and path. If it helps her control her anger and rage at the world, that'll be an added bonus. RP Potential?: If the muse hits, yes.

Delun sensed anger approach his temple. While it was not currently directed at anything it lingered enough to make the god step out of the small hut he was meditating in. "...You must calm yourself before it becomes your undoing..." His words were kind and soft spoken. Anger was a horrible thing to hold onto. "Please, come join me for some meditation... That is if you would like. After your journey to find your path shall begin."

She was the child of a affair of the lord of the house. Her mother was a servant of the house. So she was looked down on poorly by the lady of the house. Are you aware of who you truly are? Or are you still misguided?: she knows who she is and is fine with what she is. All is one in the world and one must know ones place or one will be wondering forever. What do you wish from seeking my enlightenment?: A place to call home where she will not be looked down upon and can relax without worry of others thinking little of her. RP Potential?: Lan Lin would very much like to get to know her god.

That is if you would like. After your journey to find your path shall begin." Mishi was a bit startled at first at Delun's apparent sudden appearance (she had not been paying too much attention to what was around her), but she soon gives a small sigh. Nodding, she follows Delun to meditate.

Delun approached Lan Lin, a bit of concern on his face. "While we hold no ill-will towards those seeking shelter... is that your only reason for coming here?" He paused. He wasn't being rude or distant, he just wished she knew what there was to the temple. "Those that lived here are encouraged to meditate, study, train, and become a better, enlightened person." He smiled at her. "If that is what you wish in life, then you will fit right in. If it is not what you are looking for, perhaps I can help you find one better suited for your wishes?"

Delun looked at Mishi with a raised brow. "Do not sigh as if it is an impossible task. Meditation helps calm the mind and soul. It helps one achieve tranquility." He watched for a few moments before stepping down one of the paths towards the small hut he ventured out of. "There is too much noise in the world. Too many obligations. Sometimes all one needs is a moment to clear one's head and you will see clearer."

Lan Lin smiled at the god."I love to Meditate already."She looked him the eyes and smiled even more."i would very much like to learn more. One can alway learn more."She was happy just to be speaking with him."I know you have much i could learn."She bowed."It would be a blessing to learn from you.

[tell Delun a little about where your Pockettu has come from prior to making it to Zen Temple] He is merely following his fate. It led him to Delun's temple and gives him the feeling he is meant to stay there. Are you aware of who you truly are? Or are you still misguided?: [do they have a strong sense of self or do they feel lost?] He follows his destiny/fate very strongly. He believes that all others should do the same. Suyin has had the misfortune of seeing much more of the darker side of people than the lighter, and as a result, she can be pessimistic and not quick to trust. Are you aware of who you truly are? Or are you still misguided?: Not lost so much as wanting to find a different path than the one she currently walks. What do you wish from seeking my enlightenment?: She wishes to find herself in a less sardonic state of mind and quiet the thundercloud of mistrust and contempt that is currently roiling inside of her. RP Potential?: Suyin would love to sit and learn the wisdom of one who knows how to sort their feelings out and find peace within.

Delun nodded. "Very well. Strive to reach enlightenment, Lan Lin. The path will become clear over time." He smiled a bit then gestured out towards the gardens. "Meditating among nature is highly recommended. It helps keep us grounded and learn to appreciate what nature has given us. Do make yourself at home."
