Personality: ((Sheridan is a placid and calculating man who is always thinking one step ahead. He often states that every turn in battle is a part of his effortless planning. He speaks with a polite and proper manner at all times, albeit terrifyingly so when he completely stumps his enemies. Though his intentions are sometimes questioned, he is indeed loyal to the Seireitei as he admires its humble and noble qualities. Perhaps a bit too confident of his abilities, he only half acknowledges his rivals. While they are intent on befuddling him and proving their mental superiority, Sheridan will haughtily denounce their efforts. When they succeed, he congratulates them with quaint words of praise. As Captain of squad 4 he tends to have a passive-aggressive approach to running the relief squad. He believes that using an offensive form of defense saves much more lives than simply waiting it out, allowing more bodies to pile up. Extremely eccentric. Enjoys watching and inflicting misery on his opponents in a sadistic, cruel fashion.))

History: ((Sheridan was born into a decent family within the Seireitei. He spent most of his childhood under his mother's nurturing wing. They spent endless time together as she was a healer, a doctor to some, within the Rukon District. Sheridan was fascinated by the medical arts and wished to learn all he could from his mother. He spent countless nights reading over her medical journals & notes and absorbed all at his disposal. His father however felt that this was going to make him soft and decided to use his son's extensive medical knowledge and turn it into a weapon at age 10. After 100 years{10years}of rigorous training his father turned him into the ultimate doctor, one who could heal you or dissect you without any flaws. Now at age 20{200 years old} he, thanks to his father's connections, was enrolled into the Shino Academy were he soon became top of his class. Despite his father training he had his mother's heart, and all who came in contact of him knew him as a gentle soul. Though that would change as his mother was killed by a swarm of hollows while on one of her house calls. From that very moment Sheridan changed. He began to believe that in order to heal this world one must be willing to kill those who would hinder such healing. With that as his mantra Sheridan set out to become the captain of Squad 4. After 5 years{50 years} of dedication and undergoing the processes, Sheridan was made captain of Squad 4. He quickly implemented his philosophy into the squad and had them undergo the same training his father put him through saying to them "Not only will you be the remedy for their pain, but the blade that protects them as well." With his extensive medical knowledge and deadly mastery of both kido & zanjutsu, Sheridan Alabaster will rewrite how the Seireitei sees Squad 4. Watch out Squad 11.))

The practitioner will place their dominant foot forward and bring his or hand to their opposite hip where their katana is sheathed. The sword hand will be gripping the katana's hilt while the other hand will be gripping the sheathe, its thumb resting right under the katana's guard. This stance allows for a quick draw of the sword should it be needed and allows the practitioner to quickly gather Reiryoku into a weapon should it be capable of channeling spiritual energy. Depending on the situation or the practitioner's preference, this may be done while kneeling or upright.
•Hōzuri | 頬摺 | Cheek Stroke
A simple but precise slash technique. The move is capable of displacing air just enough for the displaced air to to deal light concussive damage nearby targets even if they are slightly out of the blade's range. A blade is required to perform this technique. It should be noted that it is matter and not Reiatsu or Reiryoku that is displaced.

A Narrow and or blunt object is needed for this ability to be used. Another way of performing this technique is a narrow and or blunt blade. This object aims to subdue an opponent. The practitioner will aim at a cluster of nerve with the tip of their weapon and perform a quick jab without touching said target. The move will displace air and deal a concussive blow to the targeted area as though the tip of the weapon had extended into a blunt weapon. This will stun and knockdown an untrained opponent should it hit home.

The sword is raised above the head with the tip pointing back and the blade facing up, in readiness to strike. It is a very aggressive stance. Its advantage is the reach of the strike, the intimidating posture and the speed of the strike. Its disadvantage is the weak defense, since the throat, wrists and body are open.

The practitioner swiftly swings his weapon around his or her entire body without cutting themselves. The speed of this technique makes it difficult for an adversary to get close to him in order to attack at close range without risk of serious injury. This technique only pushes the user about 1 meter (about 3 feet) in the direction they are moving. Automatically obtained should Air Slide be learned.

Spiritual beings are generally more capable of jumping distances that would be considered "superhuman" when they were still alive. The highest a normal Jump can reach is about 5 meters (about 16 feet). Automatically obtained if Soul Jump has been learned.

Much like the Dash technique, Air Slide is initiated when the user pushes off of the ground and in a certain direction. However, Air Slide allows one to "glide" across the ground or up a steep surface.

Soul Jump (Tamashī Tobu魂 飛ぶ)
The user collects a fairly large amount of spiritual energy at both of their feet then releases all of it at once, sending them flying at high speeds in a single direction. This is generally used to get a higher vantage point or to get atop of higher buildings. This technique is more effective than Jump because it can send a person 15 meters skyward.
Shunpo (瞬歩, Flash Steps)
A high-speed movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. As speed is the main point of the technique the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from point A to point B in the least amount of steps. The user blurs out of sight of a brief moment then reappears wherever it is that they wanted to move. It should be noted that the user of this technique CANNOT pass through matter or high concentrations of spiritual energy.
Idou Senkou - Shunpo required
This technique is actually quite simple for those who have conditioned their body for high-speed combat movements and have a decent level of control over their reiryoku. Idou Senkou is a technique that can be used by channeling your reiryoku through a specific part of the body to increase the muscular reaction impulses so that the user may move that part of the body at speeds that rival Shunpo (Flash Step). This technique can be very tiring to the user because constantly increasing your muscle reactions strains those muscles. Even for those who are used to high speed movement find that this technique should only be used if they are having issues landing a hit on their opponent(s)
Air Skate - Shunpo required
Essentially, this technique is a combination of Air Walk and Shunpo. The user applies air walk to hover over a surface then performs Shunpo. This technique is advanced in comparison to a normal shunpo because unlike shunpo it does not require any steps; therefore, there is no friction in the movement. So Air Skate is actually faster than Shunpo.

This is a kaidō technique which creates an invisible bubble around the Shinigami's respiratory system. However, any sudden changes in reiryoku will break the bubble and they will immediately return to the previous condition of the air.

After having gripped another living being, the Shinigami will then proceed to use their reiryoku to focus on any diseases, viruses, poisons, toxins, and anything of that nature. The reiryoku is then transferred in a manner similar to Kaidō no. 1 Charity, only a dark red glow is emitted. The infection will spread throughout the opponent's body as rapidly as it is spreading through the original Shinigami's. The drawback to this ability, however, is that it cannot be recast for any new afflictions the Shinigami endures, as the victim essentially develops a resistance to it.

When the caster performs healing surge he/she will start to glow a golden while color while his/her wounds start to heal at alarming rates. If the move is allowed to finish he/she will be completely healed.The healing is not instantanious though it does take some time to heal. When the ability finishes or when the caster is attacked the aura of healing light will flash with a glass shattering noise echoing as the light disappears.Since this isnt an attack the only way this ability will not work is if the caster is attacked while activating this ability or attacked while the abiliy is active in which case the ability will simply fail to activate. The caster cannot attack while using this move. Power Duration is 4 turns if not interrupted.{4=100%}{3=75%}{2=50%}{1=25%}.This move has a 10 post cool down time regardless if the move is allowed to finish or is interrupted.
Other: This is not a spell to use while in combat or if so the opponent has to be stunned or the fight has to be over before using this spell

This is practical for multiple situations, but it is most especially useful when needing to move wounded allies without harming them further. If caught by a gravitational attack, this technique can be used as well to counteract such a situation, although mostly in theory. It may only be used on living beings and not on objects.

This means a complete cleansing, as though their blood was of mint perfection. Furthermore, their blood may be transferred between races, regardless of race. For this duration, their blood becomes universally transferable. This is critical for those who have lost an excessive amount of blood. This lasts [5] posts.

Taking a sitting position, the Shinigami will appear to be entering a meditative state. Only the most advanced Kaidō users will utilize this ability. By tapping into their reiryoku, they can control how much is being utilized and minimize any excess so that no reiryoku goes to waste and their healing potential is maximized. Furthermore, they are able to gain even better control over their kaidō. This allowed them to transfer large amounts of reiryoku without going to a dangerously low reserve.

This spell will drain all the Reiryoku of a single individual that caster is touching and transfer it to another. The donor will die of exhaustion while the recipient can literally be brought back from the dead. This spell is known to be used for murder murder even if it takes a while, close to 5 full posts for a captain-level individual to kill another of similar strength level, to completely drain an a healthy being dry of Reiryoku.
