Name: Isaris
Stage: Prentice [walking the path of a Assassin or Ranger, depends on how he turns out after a few RPs]
Race: Shifter
Gender: Male
3 Base Traits: Fragile, Protective, Sharp
Personality: Fragile- Isaris witness his whole family destroyed in crossfire resulting in a more fragile state of mind. Any second the male believes his precious baby brother would perish in the same manner. As he gets older this may or may not hamper his social skills with others depending on his trust levels. This also affects his remorse as Isaris might develop a heartless streak in accordance with his loose mental screws.
Protective- Don't ever think you can get near the baby without his glare following you. Isaris is protective over his remaining family member to the point where he'll take insults without flinching. Everything he does now is for the well-being of his brother. If he thinks Issaly would go hungry, he'll give the youngling his meal. If Issaly goes cold, he'll wrap him in his scarf. Isaris wouldn't stop his younger brother from reaching for his dreams, but he would stomp on his own if he felt Issaly was going to suffer. Most would claim that this trait is only in the case of his younger brother but there could be room for another if such bonds are formed.
Sharp- Despite everything wrong with him, Isaris is still a sharp minded male. He was always reading and solving puzzles as well as riddles on a daily basis before the attack. Isaris will always use his mind above his strength if given the choice, but don't let that fool you. The male will use his body as a weapon if he has to. He has a way with words and won't hesitate to use them.
Description: For Art- His skin is a light gray, while his eyes are cloudy silver. His crystals are a shade darker than Issaly's. Hair is long Pure White and in five braids, two down his front, three trailing behind him; to his knees. Special features include faded scars from the attack.
Clothing: Large scarf wrap around his shoulders, baggy frayed pants maybe with a few holes or patches in them. Arches of his feet are wrapped as are his wrists in the form of fingerless gloves. Artist choice on if he has wrappings around his stomach.
Accessories: Random clasps and maybe frayed ribbons from his family decorate his hair. A feather ear cuff on either ear.
History: Isaris was the fifth son in a family of six kids, his mother died in his youngest brother's birth. Despite all his Father said that he didn't blame the youngling, the elder male still insisted for a pendant of his wife to be made and then given to the child. Isaris resents his Father for many things. The male's twisted sense of irony being a big one. The youth just knew that his Father would later on use their Mother's death against the youngling.
When Isaris saw the fight between two small brigades coming towards their group he tried to warn the others. As far as he knows only a few listened and made the excuse of going out for a hunt. He doesn't know if any of his elder brothers went with them. The male's thoughts on all his elder brothers is positive. The siblings were all really close as the eldest son instilled many lessons of having a big heart with his younger siblings. Isaris vows to try his best in passing those lessons onto Issaly.
When the attack hit however, his thoughts went to the younglings. There were very few to be born that past season so it was easy for him to locate his brother. He saw that a few of the other adults had retrieved their younglings but he chooses not to recall what happened. All he'll ever say is that he saw his Father's Death and has no remorse. The next group of memories is being caged as he was caught by slavers, but not separated from his brother. He is currently sick in Issaly's Storyline, but able to recover. He has no idea his sickness is genetic and is what caused his mother to die in childbirth. So, his future health is at some risk.

Hey there :] I have to get going soon, so I can't really get too in depth but for now I think it's safe to just get a jump on some of the appearance issues :] Shifters have either light gray skin and dark gray eyes, or dark gray skin and light gray eyes in their art. So light skin and light eyes isn't something that can happen since they shift from day to night pretty specifically. The other thing that's problematic is that the only races that are allowed to wear dreads are the Alkidike (which are required to have dreads) and the fire earthlings (which are optional). The Alkidike are so dominant in Tendaji culture that their dreads are a sign of power to them and earthlings are well aware of this, steering clear of it intentionally.

Okay now see I didn't know about the dreadlocks thing >< Thanks for telling me. As for the tones...I feel silly because i remember you said the same thing with Issaly >< Jeebus I need to learn. Okay so edited his eye color and hair style! I hope the braids are okay.

Braids are definitely ok :] Now I have a little more time I can start asking some personality questions :] Is Isaris protective in general or just in the case of Issaly? What was the attack exactly? Everything's written a little vague in his history. Why did Isaris detest his father? Just because of the circumstances with his younger brother and his mother's death? Can you explain a little more about the relationship between his father and him, as well as his older brothers and him before the attack? Were they close (the brothers)? You say he remembers being caged? As in captured? (Issaly didn't have any of this in his history when questing, so I have to try to get a feel of what his history actually is). If him and his brother was captured, how did they get out? He's currently sick, who is he staying with? In Issaly's history when applying for customs he was said to be under the care of the elders, is Isaris also? And what is his sickness (generally speaking); is it just a bad flu/bug kind of thing, or like a more serious bedridden for a while kind of sickness? Something hereditary, maybe?

Protective edited XD 2. the attack can be one of two things. One- a stray little struggle on the tailwinds of the ending war. Those are bound to pop up a few times at least. OR a territory dispute between two groups of beasts. 3. He knew that his father would later on hold it over Issaly and give the poor kid a complex. With him his father always put down his skills in hunting, as for his brothers they were all close. The eldest was the main protector and instilled that lesson in all his younger siblings. 4. Issaly didn't have this plot because at the time, I honestly didn't have a real solid idea of where i wanted to take him. I thought of major drama happening which resulted in him wanting to pursue the Healer path. Then the idea of Issaly and a sibling being captured popped up and yeah...Ed and I are plotting still at the moment. 5. He's sick at a healer's. It is an Elder, but not the ones from his family. The sickness is genetic, but he has no idea at this point in time. Its a mild fever. I'll understand if you see too many complications and wish to void this Quest.

lol I wouldn't void the quest :] I'm just trying to dig deeper and get a feel for him. Hopefully help with anything that you may not have thought of at first. When I mention Issaly, I'm not trying to say that there are too many inconsistencies, I totally understand not knowing where you're going till later, I just want to clarify how he fits in since they are siblings. And the attack could be either, both would work in the world, I just need to know that there is a decision on which one :] But he seems interesting and I always love sibling characters.I'm about to head off to lunch, but if I think of any more questions I'll ping them your way when I get back, if not, then I think he might be pretty good to go with the revisions.

Okay yay! I might stick with the whole skirmish thing, since that would make more sense and connectivity with them getting caught.
