Eiffel Tower Top Floor ~ Violet Spire
The really spectacular way up the Eiffel Tower is in the glass lifts which offer you a panoramic view over the extraordinary example of audacious architecture that this monument is.
At the end of the 180 metre trip to the top of the Tower you’ll be rewarded with a stunning view of Paris and its monuments. Even with all the jutting Pink Crystals and the wall of Crystal that surrounds the Champ de Mars, it is almost impossible to deny how beautiful the Eiffel Tower still is. Which, I suppose, is nice considering that this view might be the last thing you ever see.
Thanks to the two levels that form the top of the tower (one in the open air and the other under a roof), you can wander around and enjoy the view just as much during the day as during the evening.
Lower Level & Open-Air: Champagne Bar
The Champagne Bar is enclosed but can be accessed in the lower level and the Open Air deck. There Crystals have claimed various victims in the establishment and some are even stuck in the poses they were in at the time. It is almost like they are frozen in time. Due to the small size of the Tower's tip, there is not much in the way of cover except for possibly the bar itself and a couple of tables.
- The Counter is 6 ft long by 4 ft high. It's quite sturdy but can still be destroyed.
- There are only 4 small circular tables available to use as cover in this area.
- There are 3 sets of people trapped in large pink crystals.
- Set One is a Man proposing to his Girlfriend located by the Tower's edge. The woman is quite obviously crying...
- Set Two is a Father, Mother and Daughter. The Father is frozen holding the Daughter so that she can use the binoculars to see across France. The Mother is taking a photo of the two of them.
- Set Three is two women drinking champagne inside the Champagne Bar.

The Ring's Resting Place ~ Open Air
The Star Sapphire Ring embedded/inserted itself in the Tower's framing and formed the Crystal Forest that is currently engulfing parts of the Sienne, the Tower and surrounding the Champ de Mar. It is currently struggling to find a new bearer similar to Carol Ferris and came to Paris when its systems began to bug thanks to the Space/Time anomalies created from the Legacy Initiative. It will take some climbing but once you have made your way up past the normal limits of the Tower Tour up the very spire itself you will find yourself on a small plateau of Pink Crystal.
Atrocitus has come to try and destroy the Violet Ring due to the fact it can be fatal to his own Lantern Corps. Black Beetle came out of curiosity. Naturally, the two are now engaged in fierce combat and are shaking the very tower with the force of their blows; you will not have long to get through the fight and to the ring. Sinestro has also appeared trying to claim the ring, hoping to give it to someone who he can make an alliance with.
Post Countdown: Heroes have 90 posts TOTAL to get through the fight and get to the ring before the fight reaches new explosive heights. The post counter starts from the first HERO to enter the Top Level (but Atrocitus and Black Beetle may post before then, their posts just won't count towards the countdown) and the timer is carried over. You CANNOT exit and enter to reset the timer.
*If cover gets destroyed, it is, obviously, no longer fit for use in a fight. New cover must be found.
**Please use the below code to help keep better track of what cover is left for use. Remember, you're not going to be the only one coming through here, and parties that are later than you would like to know what's still available for use.

Sinestro felt the anomaly of the Star Sapphire ring even before Lyssa or the Qwardians felt it. Ordering 10 Manhunter to come with him Sinestro opened a warp line to earth and flew to the City of Love looking down at the pink crystal spire. He turned to his Manhunters. "Go down to the floors make sure none of the humans make it through, and if any of the new heroes arrive slow them down. I wish to examine this before we take it."
The Manhunters mearly nodded before flying down and landing by the elevators and ladder prepping yellow construct barriers and defenses to slow or stop any takers of the tower. Meanwhile Sinestro landed flew over and landed by crystal plateau and examined the pink ring. He didn't dare touch it yet as he was curious where the ring had gotten most of it's powers from. He began telling his ring's a.i. to examine it in hopes of learning where it had come from.

 As Sinestro approached the artifact that had come down and caused the mess that the tower was in, a red glow would begin to radiate about thirty feet behind him, as Mira stepped out of the Bleed, staring at the man from behind. She frowned slightly, as the Beetle immediately began to run a scan of the entire area and everything around it. From civilians, to entities that shouldn't belong, and especially the ring that had found its way to the lovely city of Paris. Brushing a strand of hair from her face, Mira watched the Yellow gumdrop for a moment, before speaking up, once the beetle had finished its scan of the area and reported to her.
"You know, you might want to call your friends back, and step away from that thing. That's the property of Reach, and I'll be sure to take it, along with your own, the moment I'm done beating your a**." the woman ordered, frowning all the while. It felt awkward, being in this new outfit, standing on top of the tower. She felt as if all eyes were on her body now, which traditionally didn't bother her, but when she was out, fighting people, there was something about skin-tight leather that just caused her to mentally puke.
"So, will you comply, or will I have to show you why it is not wise to interfere with Reach property?"

Mood: Calm, as far as I can be considered calm. Excited.
Company: Oliver, The Butcher
A few spans above the platform that the ring rested on, another rip in the air would appear, but this one would be vastly different from the most recent random opening. For this opening would carry the feeling of true power....true fear....and true rage. A deep red glow would radiate out along with a menacing, deep chuckle that could only be described as the laugh of Satan himself. After a few moments, the very demon himself emerged, though both Mira and Sinestro would recognize the being as none other than Atrocitus.
However, he would look different. The red aura that shone around the being would be a darker red than usual. Most obvious, however, would be the two horns that had sprout form either side of Atrocitus' head, resembling the horns of Earth's rams. With red eyes and pierced the soul of all they looked at, the figure stared at Mira, and then Sinestro, a wicked smile spreading to reveal long, pure white, dagger-like teeth. As the rip in space vanished behind him, Atrocitus descended down to be almost level with the other two, still floating so that he stood out above them. He was above them, after all. "All the manhunters in this universe and the next would not save you, Sinestro. And as for you, girl, Reach and its beetles will have no such thing. This ring will be destroyed long before either of you can hope to graze it with even the air around your pathetic hands. Today, Earth sees true power. Today....you both will learn the meaning of rage. Today.....this tower will flow with crimson red blood." Still smiling, and glancing from Mira to Sinestro again, Atrocitus let is aura flare as he spoke one final sentence.
"So...who is going to be first?......bitches."

Feeling the presence of someone else arriving Sinestro turned and saw the girl stepping out of the bleed. The girl herself was irrevelant his true interest was in the scarab attached to her back. 'So it seems the Reach has tried once again to weaken earth. I will have to send a message to them later.'
Sinestro just analyzed the woman before speaking to the girl and more importantly to the scarab. "Well aren't you a brash one. The Reach do always seem to pick the most willful humans." Sinestro then thought for a mere moment before speaking up once more. "I shall propose a counter offer one that should prove beneficial to both myself and the Reach. In the past the Reach had tried to gain favor and ally with me by combining your scarab's with my ring. I see merit in this and I will have my engineers create 3 brand new rings as gifts for the Reach. Which they may do with as they please. In return you will aid me in acquiring this ring as a tool for a potential alliance with a powerful figure here on Earth."
Sinestro stared at the woman curious on how she would respond. If need be he would kill her and put her Scarab on someone with a more..agreeable nature. He would be sure to tell The Reach about his actions, and still broker an alliance with them, they might even thank him for it. Then again who knows maybe someone strong enough to resist the Reach would prove a better ally.
Before Sinestro would get a response though. A powerful surge of energy would make even SInestro stop and look as Atrocitus himself appeared, and worse still imbued with the power of the avatar of Rage...The Butcher. Sinestro just eyed him and murmered. "Fool" The sway of the avatars was to great and while Sinestro new he could call upon Parallax in the same way. It was not a tactic he would resort to lightly. "Atrocitus you are as mad as the savages you keep. If you think that using the Butcher would cause fear in anyone. Are you truly so weak that you must submit yourself to anyone but your desires? Leave here now and go back to Ysmault and purge yourself of the Butcher." Knowing what was to come next Sinestro's entire body shown a piercing bright yellow as armor covered his his normal uniform and his left hand began to crackle and pulse with yellow energy. Sinestro could feel fear radiating from the streets below his ring fed upon it and Parallax hidden away in his power battery screamed to be let out. Though he would have to wait Sinestro would not make the same mistake as Atrocitus instead he looked over to the Beetle curious on how she and the scarab would respond. Maybe she would prove a useful distraction in assaulting Atrocitus while he focused on securing them the ring or maybe Paris would burn.

Hearing the man talk to them, Mira heard the beetle chattering away inside of her head, considering the proposition the man had made. Letting out a small sigh, Mira's thoughts immediately went to the Beetle's, trying to communicate with the creature. 'Do you honestly trust this guy, Scarab?' she thought, as the Scarab grew silent.
'Negative. However, there is nothing wrong with what he has said. Three rings are greater than one to obtain for Reach. If we were to assist in getting him the ring, then we would be in a grand foothold to claiming this territory for Reach's arrival.'
'That also even depends if he'll hold with his side of the bargain...' Mira thought, noting the red portal opening up, with a large red creature appearing from inside. 'I have a plan, Scarab.'
"What's wrong, don't wanna join in on the fun? Tell you what, Sinestro. I'll help you out in beating this freak's face to a pulp, and get you the damn ring. You make me one of those rings, and get me two more for Reach, then we'll be even." Mira quickly comment, a small smirk on her lips as she heard the Scarab chattering away inside of her mind. He could see what she was planning, and from his sounds, it sounded like it was in agreement with what she wanted to do.
'I shall do you a favor for this fight. In your current state, you will be unable to hold your ground against Atrocitus. Therefore, I shall be giving you my full assistance. Use everything in our arsenal to ensure that we obtain those rings.' The beetle echoed, as Mira smirked, watching the giant red demon before them

Mood: Calm, as far as I can be considered calm. Excited.
Company: The Butcher; Mira and Sinestro
Atrocitus could only laugh at the words of both Sinestro and Mira. Shaking his head and looking at both of them, Atrocitus spoke through chuckles. "Oh this is rich! Sinestro stooping to the level of human stupidity...well, it's not that far of a drop....and a human with a fancy bug threatening me?! You haven't the slightest idea of who you are dealing with." Rage energy flared around Atrocitus, sending a light shock wave through the air, something akin to a strong breeze. Letting out a sudden and deep, rage-filled roar, red acid poured from Atrocitus' mouth in a wide spray, sending droplets of the acid all over the top floor of the tower.
The essence of rage coated the overbearing crystals that championed love and obstructed the already eyesore of human ingenuity. When it came down to it, Sinestro used a power that was only fed by the humans around the area, and the earth girl used a technology that would ultimately fight for her if necessary. Using the split consciousness of his own mind, and that of the Butcher, Atrocitus began to feel for all human beings in the immediate area. Removing them would remove a large portion of Sinestro's power base, but this would take time. Leaving the Butcher to do most of the identification of humans, Atrocitus himself focused on the fight that was starting.
"You pathetic earth girl. Think about the alliance you've apparently, and idiotically, formed with the yellow coward over there. He proclaimed loyalty to the Green Lantern corps, and betrayed them for his own desires. And now he aligns himself with you....against me...a foe that you both know neither of you could face alone. You both want the ring. Think beyond the immediate. Think beyond this ring. What exactly...does Sinestro want? Realize that, and you realize that you've aligned yourself....against your own cause. Poor beetle. So advanced, yet so easily fooled."

Sinestro smiled, pleased with himself when the Beetle agreed to work with him. "I will join in the fight later for now priorities must take precedent. However he is a show of good faith." Sinestro instantly pulled his power battery from the pocket dimension and placed his ring into it pulling from the increased power of Parallax amongst the fearful parisians. His ring became supercharged to over 300% power. He then pulled his ring out and of the lantern and dismissed it.
Sinestro smiled up at Atrocitus before extending his fist out and concentrating the power in his super charged ring into forming a duplicate overcharged ring that would immediately fly over and place itself upon the Black Beetle's hand. Allowing her temporary access to the yellow power of Fear as long as it kept a charge or Sinestro granted her access to it.
Hearing Atrocitus response to all of this Sinestro just ignored him. Atrocitus would learn soon enough about desires and what it takes to achieve them. Instead he gave the Black Beetle an approving nod before speaking. "Teach this arrogant fool a lesson he soon won't forget. I will go and retrieve our prize."
With that Sinestro returned towards the plateau creating an impenetrable yellow barrier to seal him in with the ring. As long as the parisians remained terrified for their beloved tower. The barrier would remain strong and indestructable even against the draining effects of the red acid.
OOC:s**t post I know but gonna be starting OJT next week and it gonna consume most of my days. This way Beetle and Atrocitus can go at it without waiting for me. Then once it over Sinestro will come out and join in the fighting.

 When Hal Jordan's ring failed to respond to the summons, the Star Sapphire ring took it upon itself to go to him. It refused to be ignored, and as such, it would make him listen. The ring broke free from it's crystal throne and started it's descent through the tower. The floor closest to it held two Lanterns and a Beetle. The ring sent out a pulse meant to stun all three of them, however temporarily, and three separate wormholes opened up, one for each. The wormholes would take them and send them back to wherever they were before this, whether it was on this planet or not. The three were sucked through the wormholes, after which the holes closed. Another pulse was sent out, shattering the crystals that had formed on this level at such a frequency that there was no debris from them and nothing to clean up. Those who had been trapped in the crystals were now free, but it was up to them to leave the tower. The ring moved on to the next floor.
