Name: Zev Mikael
Nickname: Anna calls him "Z," and is the only person he doesn't give weird looks for using it. Got the unfortunate nickname of Pup due to his tendency to wander around after his sister.
Age: 19
Birthday: January 16, 1996 [ Full Wolf Moon ]
Sign: Capricorn
Gemstone: Ruby
Blood Type: Type O
Fav. Food: Beef lo mein. Which is good considering he sometimes seems to live off it. Almost anything home cooked (that's not pork) is a giant hit for him, too.
Hated Food: Pork that's not bacon. He just.... doesn't like the taste, and the texture's weird to him. He also doesn't like most deli meats, but loves meat off the bone for his sandwiches.
Occupation: Graduated from Meadowview High and has since then been working at a consignment shop called Giving Grandeur, owned by his landlady
Hobbies:
____Multi-Canvas, Multi-Purpose xxxxxHe's the kid who always doodled in his notebooks at school instead of paying attention in class. He's also the kid who's into doing murals on random buildings, with or without permission, though he's aware the former tends to stay longer. Some might call it graffiti, he calls it self-expression. Painting on normal canvas didn't really appeal to him until an art teacher in Meadowview yanked the tiny brushes he was fussing with and handed him thick paint and... sculpting knives? The shift in perspective helped him realize how any medium can be taken out of the box, something he's taken to apply to his art in any avenue he can. The sales counter at his work is usually decorated with his pencil and pen scrap paper thumbs, all so he can hold onto the random ideas that hit for when he heads home. There are a few housing complexes in the area around his home he's done murals for to try and help brighten up the buildings, and bit by bit is building a portfolio to see if he can continue to get work. Work that's not entirely legal however, he's careful to keep to more... remote locations, or buildings he's pretty sure will be torn down soon anyways. Recently Zev's begun to look into doing tattoos--he's already got his own ink after all.
____Nature Needy xxxxxNot the best tick when you live in the city, but Zev has a tendency to get a tad bit restless surrounded by so much concrete and glass. The guy highly prefers the suburbs and parks, and certainly has his hopes of moving out of the more cramped regions he's settled in someday. He likes trees, he likes gardens--in fact he keeps two himself, one in window boxes at the apartment and a larger one (technically a complex wide community garden) in the courtyard of the apartment complex. Neither are super spectacular, but he's managed to grow a decent amount of veggies, herbs, and flowers to help brighten up meal choices and table centers. He just likes being outside, somewhere out in nature. He used to escape issues at home or around the neighborhood by climbing some of the few trees in the sad excuses for parks in the area, usually resulting in him falling asleep up in the branches or just watching the world. He's still liable to go for these high cat naps, but hikes through denser areas in larger parks are just as useful to get him his (sort of) clean air fix.
____Black Eyes and Red Knuckles xxxxxKickboxing isn't just a hobby, it's a required skill with how he's grown up. Attending the same classes as his sister, he's used to being her sparing partner from long before they finally caved and started taking the actual formal classes. Back then it was fist fights and alleyway brawls, trying to make sure he could wrestle away from a guy who wouldn't pull his punches--or worse, pull a knife. Actual lessons and training have helped him exponentially, not only to know where and how to hit the human body, but the techniques required to try and disarm an opponent with a rather unfair and potentially deadly advantage. He keeps attending the gym four to six times a week though--he's aware he's still got a lot to learn, nevermind he understands he has to maintain the skills he does have if he wants to keep them. Zev packs force behind his punches and keeps a sturdy stance, and it's certainly helped give him a figure to help display he's serious about the sport. He's becoming more of a regular in amateur rings and does have a good chunk of victories under his belt to gain some bucks. Not quite at the level to look to anything more pro, but he'd like to think maybe someday.
____What Goes Bump in the Night xxxxxA fan of the occult, his favorite shows are A Haunting and other such supernatural tales he can usually find when scrolling through the TV options. Documentaries--clearly fake and the kinda questionable--and horror flicks are typical views for him either as background noise in the apartment or the actual focus of his attention. Even a few books have slowly found their way into his possession, opening his mind bit by bit to the fears and lore of cultures around the world. Fully aware of how fearful the night can be, with all its thumps, bumps, gunshots and sirens, he finds comfort in lore from the ye ole days that try to explain the unseen world around them. So-called encyclopedias on demons and mythical monsters? Anthologies of different horrifying tales? He's either borrowed them from the library a few times, got them as audio books, or actually has them stuffed around his room somewhere. Modern renditions are appreciated just as much as the old, though he's more versed in the modern versions. Hasn't really gone too intense on his research in a library yet, but he's certainly been found among the shelves now and then.
Virtues:
____Cuddly as a Teddy xxxxxFor all his snaps and snarls, Zev does have a rather shinning point. The guy gives damn good hugs. Someone who finds just as much comfort in physical contact as he does solitude, he shares this frequently with the people around him. He's pretty open to helping a stranger feel better if he realizes they're upset, at least to an extent. Acquaintances, or even upset strangers, he'll pretty quickly throw an arm around and try to steer towards better topics or (what he hopes to be) a more comfortable mutual silence. Added bonus to his hugs? He runs pretty warm. He's a sympathetic bystander sort. He's lived a rough life, and it's most certainly formed a pretty big bias for the underdog. While he knows he hasn't experienced all the evils of the world, he's had his own share, heard stories from others, and in his mind gets that sometimes just having someone else there with you can help make a situation a bit more bearable. Not everyone would agree with him as this being an aid, but for those that just like having a body around either for silent company or random conversation, Zev's more than willing to take up the space.
____Eyes Wide Open xxxxxWhile he'll quote things like "instinct" and "gut feeling" a lot when it comes to how he makes his decisions--on people, on routes, on... anything in his life--the fact is these senses are built on years of a damn good memory and being damn observant. Or at least, as far as he's concerned. Zev does possess a near photographic memory, and while he's a lot better at placing faces and events over names and numbers, he's figured out the best means of application for his talent. The phrase, "I know how this horror movie goes," might be tossed about by Zev in apparent joking, but he's got the signs memorized. Person he's speaking to keep shifting around on their feet or glancing about? He'll be on edge. Alley looking a tad too cramped full of things for people to jump out from behind? He'll take another route. Customer or potential new employer looking a little too much at his tattoo and piercings? He'll look for cash elsewhere. Sure he's prone to jumping to conclusions based on these generalized observations, but once the guy's seen a few too many reoccurrences--be they just on TV or from actual life experience--then his opinions are more or less locked on how he should expect to handle similar occurrences in the future. He does take the time to go slow and observe the world around him before he makes his decisions, and is able to admit when his assumptions are dead wrong, but each success and failure's just one more test to hone that grand thing he'll just call instinct.
____Declared Independence xxxxxWhile Zev can be seen trailing after his twin sister, a point needs to be made about the young man: he doesn't for a moment view himself a dependent on her, or anyone else. Protective of her and others? Of course. But Zev's got what he feels--in all his nineteen years of oh so much experience--that he's got a solid grasp on life. He's got a job to pay bills, he's trying to push through his art and kickboxing to do better, and he's not someone to look to others for assistance. Not that he won't accept the help if it's offered, but Zev has a steady confidence that he can figure out the problems on his own. Born from having few constant others to rely on in his life, Zev has often felt he's "learned it all" on his own--cooking? It was either he figured it out or his sister burned it. Handling money? He worked too hard to get it, didn't make much sense to screw around and lose it even faster. Stress? Issues with friends? Dealing with strangers? He's figured out his own coping methods through trial and error, and while he's still got a lot of his own anger issues to work out, and knows the world's a lot bigger than his neck of the city, there's very little doubt in his mind that each situation he crosses there'll be a solution he'll find on his own. Just a question of how many times he can redo a project, blunder through a first introduction, and generally try to save his own skin.
Flaws:
____Everything My Eye Can See... xxxxxZev has issues with sharing. Once he's called something his, then the deal's pretty much done. What's his is his and few other people get free passes to just waltz around whatever's his. Largely this at least only deals with space--rooms, organization of objects therein, how things are managed within that space--and material objects. He keeps as sharp an eye as possible on people when they're around what's "his" and very much hovers. And becomes rather vocal when they try to change things on him. He doesn't take critique well on his art... or anything really, for that matter, as all his work still falls under the umbrella of "his so ******** off." Try to move things around the store he works at? Expect an immense amount of snapping and huffing from Zev as he rearranges it all back to how he had it before. Attempt to pick up something in his room? Unless you got permission before you touched, don't be surprised if he rips it from your hand. Paint over the mural he did on a wall, even if he didn't get permission to do it? In his mind, that space belongs to whomever has their mark on it so why the hell shouldn't it be his? His inability to really share does extend to the people in his life, in at least in what sort of role he views himself as playing in the other person's life. Unfortunately, this view is not always reciprocated, which can often result in some rather embarrassing, if not explosive, confrontations if Zev catches another person "intruding" on that role of his. While he--usually--doesn't result to physically drag away his friend, family member, significant other, or whatever other connection he views he has with the person, he most certainly is the type to puff up and try to physically place himself between them and the so-called intruder. Including between them and someone of authority. Which again, doesn't always end too well. Being told by the person that, in his view, he's trying to protect the connection or relationship is not mutual, does make him... well. Embarrassed is the lightest possible way to put it. Reclusive for quite some time after and not too keen to see them so soon, is more accurate. For as much as he hates sharing, he also hates having it slammed into his face everything he thought he knew, was oh so wrong.
____Bared Fangs xxxxxWhen his voice naturally has a rougher, grittier lean to it, it's pretty easy to slip into harsh growling tones and barking out points to whatever he's talking about at the moment. He doesn't mean to come off as hostile, but from his body language running more to the side of defensive and closed off, to the normal swing of his voice.... yeah it's pretty easy for him to hit that way. Zev does have a tendency to try and win any conversation--that's right, conversation, not just an argument--through these semi-unintentional-semi-intentional intimidation tactics. He's used used to a life where barking loud hopefully makes it less necessary to bite as hard. Dealing with people not of a similar mindset confuses the ******** outta him till he's able to get it through his skull--which by that point, the other party might have exit stage left to get away from the perceived brute. It's not necessarily that he doesn't get the concept that not everyone responds the best to his usual ways, it's that he doesn't get how to act any other way. He can understand it when he's screwed up, and will usually try to backpedal himself out of a bad conversation if he begins to recognize negative responses in the other person, but he's not going to suddenly be speaking like he's coddling a five year old. In his head, most of the people he's grown up around are of similar cloth, where it's expected to be gruff and intimidating or risk injury. The older he gets, and the more of the world he experiences, the more he's learning that is far from the typical case. Changing his whole demeanor though? The guy's more razors than roses, and it's a learning curve he's still yet to figure out.
____Here for Hugs Not Tears xxxxxHe'll hear you out when you wanna gripe about some idiot driver, or man you were sure you had that test right, or oh god that customer was such an a**, but get too much into the sappy, personal feelings territory and Zev will exit stage left in an instant. While he's fine with basics to why someone's upset, and being willing to help them out if he can, the young man feels extremely unnerved by sharing deeper emotions and thoughts, largely because of his own tendency to just bury most of his crap away. He throws his more sappy thoughts and emotions into a box till he can work out his "issues" alone against a punching bag or something, and largely it's made him... almost unable to process how to handle these emotions in other people--or rather, how to process them being vocal about it or showing it. Someone sobbing their eyes out? He'll give a hug but if you're keeping up the water works too long he's out. Talk about what's got you so down? He's probably out all the faster. Oh he'll try to bare it for a bit--he gets that people operate differently, and he genuinely does want to try and help someone out if they're that upset. But the guy gets awkward and flustered fast in such situations, which for him means getting all the gruffer and tenser, and generally not coming off as the friendliest of people. A mix that doesn't exactly endear you to many people, as it might be. Zev will usually come back to see the person later on if he can, hopefully after they've worked the most intense of their feelings out so he can help in what he views as a more reasonable emotional state. Still enraged or crying or otherwise too open about personal things? Yeah he'll come back later. Assuming they even will talk to him then.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: #cccdce Pale grey-blue, runs more into the silver (can pick a darker color if this is too light!). Narrow. Hair: #564E43 || #CDB79E Grey-brown naturally, he does have a few strips of a far lighter, sandy-grey along the left side of his forehead. Zev keeps an short undercut style. Face: #E7AD8B Ruddy Caucasian with a slit bit of darker color from so much time outside--though he does have a tendency to burn first rather than just go straight for color. He's got a bulkier figure that tips more towards practical use muscles than vanity cut. Jagged scars streak across his left bicep, and a black partial-sleeve tattoo of a wolf and smoke designs stretches from his right pectoral down to a little past his elbow. He's got three piercings in his left ear.
Clothes: Street punk. He's got the ripped and worn look just by virtue of wearing a lot of hand-me-downs and thrift store finds. [ Eventual Polyvore to come, along with probably more details... ]

Senshi: Sailor Hati, Senshi of the Cù-Sìth [ coo-shee ]
Challenge: "Bay for the dead." / "Beware the third toll." / "Can you outrun the hunt?"
Fuku Colour: Please see these two pallets for inspiration! I'm a little stuck personally. Stone accents?: Moonstones
Fuku:
Collar Dark green fur, either already a wolf's pelt with the cu-sith's head, or later develops into a full cu-sith's pelt. Either way, would like to see it pinned at his shoulder with his brooch. Up for discussing actual design with the artist! Google Image Search for Cu Sith; "Its fur is shaggy, and usually cited as being dark green though sometimes white. Its tail is describe as being long and either coiled up or plaited. Its paws are described as being the width of a man's hand." - Wiki Bow N/A unless made of leather. Thin strips. No actual bow. Bodice Simple long shirt belted at his middle. Any accent borders can be simple strips of his colors, or maybe have a pattern related to cu-sith and/or moons? Up for discussing actual design with the artist! Furred accents? Brooch Up for heavy discussion with the artist for exact design, but basic concept is a canine head with the mouth around or clutching the moon(stone)--all a giant throwback to Hati chasing the moon in lore. Bottoms Cloth leggings, can be a bit worn/torn up like something was ripping it with claws. Tiara Headband across his forehead Can be solid leather, braided, made of metal, or leather with metal and/or moonstone accents. Or the latter options could be used for his later stages. Choker N/A due to the pelt, but if the artist has ideas for other accents here I'm open for discussion! Shoes Simple leather, over the leggings, can have furred accents or keep without for this stage. Gloves Up for discussion. Leather bracers, fur accents or none, heavy gloves, or nothing for this stage. Accessories He's got three piercings in his left ear, so those might be visible depending on how the art is done. Would be fun to see a wolf's tooth earring, or other accessories. If the artist has any other ideas for accents than what's above, I'm open for discussion! Depending on what's on his arms though, his scars and tattoo might also be visible on his right arm (see civi info).
Attacks:
Sailor Scout Attack: Bay from the Moors xxxxxxHati bares his teeth and snaps down as he speaks the final word of the attack. Within a seven foot radius of Hati, all Chaos-aligned opponents begin to hear what sounds like the baying of a large dog. The baying is heard three times, and at each baying they feel an increased sense of dread. By the third and final bay they feel as if there is something coming for them, hunting for them. This dreadful sensation lasts for 20 seconds before dissipating--as if the creature has moved on. The magic can be interrupted by stepping outside of the seven foot radius, and Hati can only use the attack three times per day, and must wait 60 seconds between uses.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Bay from the Crags xxxxxxHati bares his teeth and snaps down as he speaks the final word of the attack. Within a 10 foot radius of Hati, all Chaos-aligned opponents begin to hear what sounds like the baying of a large dog. The dog sounds out three times, and with each they feel a powerful sense of dread, that by the third and final bay they not only feel as if something is coming after them, but begin to think they see the creature. They might glimpse a green dog the size of a large calf, yet only out of the corner of their eye; they might hear it growling, or hear its paws and claws against the ground, but never see any prints. All are illusions only, and each person within the radius experiences the illusions separate from others whom might be under the attack's influence. This dreadful sensation and illusions lasts for 30 seconds before dissipating--as if the creature has moved on. The magic can be interrupted by stepping outside of the seven foot radius, and Hati can only use the attack two times per day, and must wait 60 seconds between uses.
Eternal Sailor Attack: Bay from the Highlands xxxxxxHati bares his teeth and begins to move towards a single target. Snapping his teeth down as he speaks the final word of the attack, the target hears three bays each growing increasingly louder as the creature approaches. At the second bay, they see a green dog the size of a large calf, soundless as it moves and races around them. At the third bay, the cu-sith charges through them, a spectral beast only. Yet for anyone who looks at the beast, it would look as if the cu-sith is holding the target's starseed within its mouth. While this is entirely an illusion, and their starseed is safe inside their body, the target would still feel a drastic draining effect and bone chilling sensation as if they were being separated from their soul. This draining illusion would vanish after 30 seconds, with the final illusion being that the cu-sith would bite down on the illusion starseed, shattering it, before the illusion vanished all together. Hati can only use this attack twice per day, and must wait at least 90 seconds between uses.

Hi Kae!
Civilian side is very balanced and good! I love gruff prickly pears with soft gooey chocolate insides ohohoho. <3
As far as powered, I think instead of starseeds being pulled out, that perhaps heart or...piece of soul is better? Especially since the negaverse are often feared because of their capabilities to mess with starseeds where senshi cannot do that (excluding princes(s) ).
Just a small edit and I think I can get you trial stamped.

I'm... extremely confused with the crit on Hati's eternal o__o;;;
The cu-sith never pulls out someone's actual starseed. It's only an illusion to give a visual to the concept of a (fake) creature pulling out someone's soul. The starseed is the universe's physical representation of someone's soul outside of their body, so I'm confused then why you say a piece of a soul is better when, per my understanding, it's the same thing..? o_o;
Hati nor his magic are at all affecting or messing with starseeds. It's entirely an illusion, and one that people will probably quickly realize as being such since, as you said, it's only Negas that can actually gank someone's starseed. The difference between what a Nega does and what Hati does is, beyond it being an illusion on his part, the target will still be alive even after the illusion of the cu-sith bites down on their starseed lol The sensation of drained energy and cold, the concept of being slowly separated from one's soul, would not even last as long as it would have if someone was legit drained by a Nega. Unless someone really wanted to play it up in a fight, soon as the illusion would vanish they'd be back to normal and going wtf at Hati and back to fighting.
I hope that explained it better? eue;;;

Ah, I was thinking along more the lines of a starseed as something well..precious and determined by a player if someone else could mess with it? Even if illusion one. (such as a player of a nega asking if they could interact with the player of a senshi's starseed)
Oh gosh but thank you so much for being patient with me! I double checked with an admin (especially since I am newer to this) and they said since its an illusion (which you explained and thank you so much for that!) then its okay!
And AS SUCH. AGAIN THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PATIENCE HUN. And congrats on your Civ!
Here's a stamp for you! A mod will be by!
