(The name is not relevant to anything really)

You can dance if you want to...

If you have a wind tribe member that is interested in learning how to dance, than you've come to the right place! Flick would love to instruct and show others how to season the skill! She's not really a book person, so be ready for trial and error method.

Rules of the ORP-

  • Flick will only train tribe members. Any gadji need not apply.
  • Please respond in a timely manner. If your character fails to respond within a week, your action will be skipped over.
  • There is no posting order. Respond to your character being responded to... but please keep up!
  • Be nice. Please don't ignore other characters if they are trying to interact with you. If ICly your character would ignore someone, play the character doing it.
  • ON the flip side, don't get bum-hurt if your character is not the most popular around... You have to interact with others sometimes to get a reaction.
  • Anything not listed here is considered common sense (as it's listed in the shop's rules), please abide by them.

I will add characters to the word-count list as they post, all counts will be added at the FIN of the RP:

Flick couldn't have been happier with the day. Deep gray clouds clustered the skies, a gentle wind rustled the trees, and the grass had taken part in the tree's wiggling about. It's like it thought it was water or something. Silly grass. It made noises like water did, only more rustley.

This spot was the best in the island to practice dancing. It was completely enclosed by the crystal trees, filled with tall grass, and the rushing waters could still just barely be heard. It was a melting pot of noises. This was such a perfect place to feel and imitate all of the noises!

Flick nibbled on the end of her bandana, her eyes shifted around while her ears tuned into every sound she could pick up on. The question was, where to start? What sound to begin on? There were so many sounds to start a step on.

Well, which one was the loudest?

"hmn...." she hummed and continued to nibble on the end of her scarf.

Concentrate... Concentrate... con- OH! Her eye shot open to see the wind carry off a leaf. It twirled about and her head followed its movements. What a brave little leaf!

Wind Waker

"Oy!" Called loudly from above the Crystal trees,

"Sastipe! Phen!" (Sastipe: Greeting meaning; 'Good luck and Good health'. Phen: 'Sister'.) Rang boldly in a singsong tone, as a pair of gold paws flex for a landing.

Rhapsody landed rather heavily just before his mentor mate, they had studied close together along side Riddle mouth. Though, what was different was the fact Flick was managing to stay still!

Hopping sticking his landing, WindWaker's tail wiped and curiously flicked behind him, a rough giggle of bells rattle the air in the movement. Ruffled wings folded neatly and naturally on his back. The firm, yet graceful blades of grass under his paws reminded him of his culture. Which prodded the in the back recess of his thoughts to use for one of his songs.

An Intrigued maw poke closer to Flick's own as she was caught nibbling on her scarf again. It cause a lush chuckle to leave the Tahtill.

"So Keres?" ('What are you doing'?) The Words left Rhap musically as his outstretched neck tilted his head to the side a little. A forepaw raise as if mid-step.

"I have never seen you so still before, FeatherStep." The Tahtil teased in a velvet like rouge, batting the air with the back of his paw toward the Nahtil.

Not that it was a compliant, it was just so strange. It hadn't been something he had caught before. Perhaps she did such a thing, at sparing moments-like he did crafting his instrument. Which, was neatly tethered around his body-not to hinder his soft azure and vibrant yellow wings in flight, of course!

Flick's ears twitched to the velvity voice that suddenly joined in the natgure chorus. With each word her ears bounced to the sound. It was one she had heard before, but she had been so lost in thought that the sound was being contemplated on, rather than what was said.

Her wings stretched out while her maw opened to release her bandana. This tione had a good rythem, something she could sway to- her hind legs begun to move followed closely by her front.

Soon her entire frame was twirling about to the rest of the sounds created by nature around her. Finally there was a start! It was a good- The dance came to a sudden halt.

"Oh! Wavely-whiskeres!" She giggled the name she dubbed him on the spot. It wasn't an insult, just how she was. By now WindWaker had several 'on-the-spot-names'.

"Are you enjoying this as well? All this wooooooosh-" She flapped her wings to enphasise her point. Rhapsody's former inquirey was not ignored, simply lost.

This is the place. Shamira scanned the location with glee filled eyes as she approached the two figures in the distance. The green, foresty colored nantlil suspected that all the times she found herself grooving to her imaginary made up beats as she worked on more details one step at a time for how to manage the stores with improving efficiency she was itching to find more means to jam as the inner performing artiste that was a part of her eccentric personality. And thus she knew with all intensity at her core that attending lessons at this dance studio was exactly the monumental decision of all decisions with regards to this that she was meant to follow through with.

She began to place a skip and a sway to each of her steps as she neared her current fellow occupants of the sensational space. And this, all of what comprised this amazing area is truly inspirational! She listened to the surrounding sounds of all of everything that was around her. She even closed her eyes for a few moments without halting her steps before then opening them again. Then she mixed her tempo up by adding two quick and slight bends at her joints and bounce every now and then as opposed to one at just a little slower pacing. And as she was closer to them both now, her next motions were a crouch and a pounce forward at an empty spot some ways away and ahead of where she was a breath ago. And she rose and flew, spiraling up into the air several feet while approximately in place before landing yet again. "Salutations," she greeted cheerily staying low against the grass as she had landed with wings still kept spread out and spanning at a line complementary to the ground in a bow, both of courtesy and merriment, which accompanied her words. "I am here for polish with teachings, discoveries, experimentations, fellowships," she said beaming brightly as she raised herself where she stood and looking toward each reputable individual in turn, "and oh so very glad to meet the both of you two."

Rhaposdy's head took it's self back as Flick started to twirl in a dance. Sitting down on his hunches the Nahtill gave a chuckle. She had been so easily distracted, yet-if was vary entertaining and free as the wind. Slowly his tail bounced and shook to fallow her movements in rythem only to still after a steady rattle as she stopped after noticing him.

A Smile remained on his maw, she was so funny. Being called 'waves whiskers' cause elagent smile to stretch more across his lips

"As sure as the songbird sings, Lavuta. (Violin)" The music Tahtill, purred before his attention was taken over to their other approaching 'class mate', Shamira landed before them.

"Ah! Sastipe, Shamria!" Rhaposdy answered with a greeting bow of his head. Straightening once more, Windwaker smiled.

"It is always good greeting with WindKin!" The conductor answers with a smirk. "How have you faired, last I saw you and Flashy was when you left to find our horde keep." The Nahtill smiled, before drifting his sight back to Flick, his whisker slipped infront of his maw and Bobbed it infront of her. Showing his own little dance of his conducting whiskers

Flick turned attention from WindWaker with the swift new steps of the keeper. For the life of her, Flick could not remember her name. What was it? Sha..Sha.. Riddle Mouth had said something about it. Oh! it would be very rude not to compliment her on her wonderful steps.

"Oh! Sha-sha! Your feet know how to talk to the winds! I hope you are going to keep dancing, the sky is being so polite today!" She bounced her words playfully as she displayed a playful smile.

Flick lifted her haunches and lowered her elbows to the ground. Behind, her tail waved about gracefully to mimic the grass's motions in the wind. Her wings tucked closely to her sides before the motion of her tail spread throughout her entire frame.

"Yes, it is so good to see the both of you here. Both of you will be dancing here? I want to see your stories too. I will teach you both to make interesting stories you know."

User ImageOo, oo, oo, was this the place? Under storming skies, Yingarna swooped down towards an island floating in the sky. Trees and grass swayed in the breeze, water gurgled from inside the island and tumbled out into creeks. A clearing in the woods was brightened by movement and by colors fantastic. Yes, this looked like the place the stormy-colored tahtll had described. Yingarna floated down to the ground at the edge of the clearing. The feeling of grass under his paws was not an unwelcome one, but it was nonetheless strange. He wasn't used to it. Ever since finding out he had wings, he'd been trying to fly as much as possible. He had a long way to go before he was a flying master, though.

But swooping and diving like that grinning B'alam, no, that wasn't quite right for Yingarna. He wanted something more brightly colored, more flashy. Something that matched his tail, and wasn't that a strange thing to say, now that he thought about it? Prism Dream couldn't see his own face or his back very well, but he could see his tail. Very bright indeed. But anyway, what was he thinking about? Oh! Dancing! Of course! He hadn't been living with other wind B'alam for very long, but as soon as he heard about this thing called "dancing," he'd known that he would stay forever here if he could just dance. Movement? Music? Energy? Oo, yes, please! So now he was landing on the ground watching three B'alam he'd only seen in the distance, never interacted with, never learned their names. Huh. What was this weird feeling inside him? He'd felt it when he first looked down from the sky, what was it? Oh! Right--intimidation! He remembered now.

They looked so fancy, with all their bandanas and flowing manes and jewels and stuff. These were the leaders of their tribe, right? Well, three out of five, or something. Um. Right. Well, no turning back now. He took a step forward and, to his eternal embarrassment--he was surely going to remember this for years and years and years to come--he stumbled on the grass. What--oh. Drat. Cheeks burning with embarrassment, he pulled his claws back inside his paws.

Why he had huge claws? No idea. The Weaver had just put them there. He did that sometimes. He had his reasons. Probably. No, definitely. Otherwise he wouldn't do it. But anyway. Now that he'd demonstrated that he was clumsy, he had to convince them that no, really, normally he was a lot more graceful than this! "Er, I've come to learn how to dance," he said. It came out as a sort of nervous squeak. So, not a great first impression.

Rhapsody's attention was pulled from the keeper as Flick took a more lively position. Light eyes followed the teal and gold vibrant tail as it swished back and forth.

"My dance maybe one of only my tongue, Phen." Words left WindWaker's maw in a gentle-yet regal purr. Respectfully he bowed, and almost mimicked in a more elegant manner of a stance.

"In such I would be more then happy to strum you a lustrous melodious symphony." Rhapsody smiled slowly raising back to his tall standing, just as he did his attention caught the landing of a vary vibrant Plal. It however seemed he had a more graceful time in the air then on the ground.

"Ah!" Exclaimed the Tahtill as his tail raised with a playful flick. His attention returned quickly to Flick.

"your star pupil approches, Lavuta." The male purred velvety, before turning back to look an greet the other.

"Sastipe, Plal." Rhapsody greeted with a bow. "To what honor do we name thee barrier of such a graceful meeting? I am Rhapsody." The Windkin introduced with a regal bow, his words coy, but not cruel.

"Do you wish to take part in our merry frolic?" The male gently enticed.

Flick's attention was torn from Rhapsody's slick movements, and whatever the Keeper was going to say, to watch the unique entry from the bright one. Eyes widened in amazement. To him perhaps it was clumsy, but to Feather Trot it was a potential start to a new routine! Perhaps. In any case she was still rather amused by it.

"It looks like you gotta good start at it!" She hummed delightfully while she looked the newcomer over. His colors were fascinating! Bright like the sun, but green like the grass.

"Star? Well, I don't see stars on him. They are dots..." Flick briefly side glanced to Wind Waker before returning to inspect the new one. "Perhaps rainbows, or brightly colored flowers on grass! Or... something that looks like that."

Feather-Step nodded to her breakdown. There wasn't anything else she could think of that his pelt resembled. It was unique! The colors were a treat to the eyes. She also couldn't help but take note at how silly his voice sounded. It was also not like anything she had ever experienced before. Timidness was a new idea that she had not yet discovered, or recognized.

Shamira gleefully wondered if she was not alone in finding her full focus being swayed by many attention-catching factors. Her head turning here and then there, so many directions! She thought this likened and indeed felt as though caught in the wind! And such an extraordinary feeling this was! While closer and closer it seemed to get to being nearly overwhelming yet at the same time it was also so very enjoyable an experience!

The keeper had not before had been in attendance with her fellow Wind B'alam in a greater number than this grand occasion! This was certainly another memorable first circumstance she was finding herself in. She found herself wanting to put these emotions into motions and sounds, to display them and share them for all to be able to see, to hear, to receive. Her being first began to try her paw to mimic the graceful movements of their instructor of dance. And then her body sprang further into activity spontaneous and free as she jumped into airborne bliss and sailed in waves with the wind as she said to such glorious company, "Indeed good day and fair winds and hi and helloooooooo!" Her voice sang brightly as she then took to sailing the skies around her companions in a circular fashion. "Wonderful Flick, Rhapsody, Phal," she went on, "I do so wish to join you in dance here today and many days ahead!" Though so much was definitely taking place all at once, the nantlil continually had in mind to keep pace together with everyone as best she could and joyfully without any doubt.

Paws meeting the soft blades of grass again, her tail turned clockwise and counter-clockwise playfully. "All is swell with me as I also wish for each of you. What adventures have you all been up to? Tending to the details of the birth of our stores' harbor is so very fascinating and also notably so is such harmonious gatherings of our Wind Tribe as this absolutely! Today is a treasure itself and so surely!"

And all of a sudden the survivalist made two 180 degree turns with exactly two ecstatic jumps and then shook in her entirety as she swayed from crouch to full height and then gave a grinning portion of laughter in having so much fun. "I am anticipating every one of the stories we learn to tell to completion in our lessons with one another, very much so!"

The world of the wind was all still very new to Yingarna. Freedom, and wind in his fur, of course, of course, but the culture, oh, that was new. Other "wind tribers" were clearly kin to him, and they had a love of movement and flow in common with him, it seemed. But the words, yes, they were new, and they were dancing all around him. The three in the clearing seemed to know each other from a long ways back. Well, that wasn't a bad thing, was it? It just meant that he'd have to get to know them. And learn fast.

"Sastipe," he said quickly to the blue and gold tahtll with the lyrical voice. Bird song, or the sweet chants of the breeze on a fine day. "I am...pleased that you think my entrance to be graceful. I suppose I'll have to refine my somersaults," he added with a rueful smile. Rhapsody, as he was called, sounded amused and pleased to see him, genuinely pleased to meet him, rather than mocking. Yingarna relaxed. "I am Yingarna," he said. "I would very much like to learn dancing from the masters."

The attention of a graceful nantlil (well, okay, one of the two) brought his attention to his own sides. Eh? Stars? What-now? Nope, just as she said, dots. And what appeared to be fishes, oddly enough. But his attention, as it always was, turned to something else. This time, the fancy green nantlil dancing in the air. Was this the teacher? No, wait, talking about stores or harbors or something? "Today is a treasure," he said firmly. "Are you here for lessons, too?" Even as he said it, he cringed inside. Fellow student or not, she was pretty important in the tribe. Was it his place to question her? He wanted to be comfortable and relaxed like the rest of his tribe was, but there was so much to learn!

The conductor chuckled to FeatherSteps's chosen words on the Bright kin that approched them.

"They look more like lines of your flight patterns, Lavuta." WindWaker spoke in a playful and teasing lowered tone, mostly just for her ears but wasn't hiding among kin.

Attention quickly turned, to the Keeper as she spung and frolicked. rhaposdy's head moved and bobbed to the moment.

"As everyday should be." The music b'alam nodded, his tail raised and flicked. Ears happily perked to the repeating 'stories'. Such a grand thing.

Stories! Such a wonderful thing! And even more glorious when combined and manifested into Dance!

"As a refreshing breeze indeed, Shamira." The conductor chuckled once more as their sister took happy flight in excitement. He went on to answer his well being just as she requested

"Yes, it shall be a merry tale." The Tahtill spoke his attention turning back to Flick and Yingarna.

"Well it does seem that you do have a head start on the steps, Yingarna. You managed to ropost and stand back up." Rhapsody went on to explain, falling does happen-and the ones that stand back up are better for it. Head turned and looked back over to Shamira, she as always seemed rather gifted in flight and no doubt will do just grand.

"Indeed, you are in the right place, phal. Flick is a poet in step and lyrical genius in movement." The bard went on to muse, as his attention turned back to thier teacher.

Flick paused in her swift movements as the others begun to ask questions. Stories, teachings? Couldn't it just be a combination of the both? Was she even hearing anything right?

She opened her mouth just as a blue bird flew overhead. Whatever was on her mind simply jumped ship and caused her to continue her playful "dance" prancing. Well, mostly jumped ship.

"Anyone can join, anyone can dance, anyone can dance and tell a story with their movements!" She laughed as she pranced about gleefully.

For the moment, again, she caught sight of Wind Waker. Who was not moving!
Feather step cleared her throat.

"Why are you not moving? Dancing? Feeling everything around you in rythm? Common, the winds have given us a symphony!"

"Indeed," was Shamira's nod in affirmative to the query posed by Phal.

"Certainly," was her reply to Wind Waker in further agreement and a nod given as well.

"Definitely," the keeper gave again another cheery reply and nod at Feather Step's words.

Then the nantlil found herself nodding to a beat of her imagination. Her front paw began to stomp lightly and rhythmically as she sat leisurely with her tail waving in the breeze.

The nods she had goin' on took on a swing and sway fashion as she moved gradually to stand on all paws. She danced two steps forward and two steps back next and did this repeatedly as she began to speak in melodic tunes. "Today is a brightly shining treasure; yes, a terrific, glorious treasure is what we also are," as the phrase went on she had gotten to hopping with each paw taking a turn at exception from touching down upon each little landing before pouncing and leaping twice forward. With a backward flip and followed by a circular swirl in a backstroke overhead, the dynamic airborne maneuvers eventually returned her to the original spot she had been seated before the spontaneous routine. "I am having so much fun," Shamira giggled momentarily before she went on to say, "and we have only just begun, gathering as we are."
