xxxxxThe Gnomesmashers booth is made of a dark, smooth, aged wood with a strange texture, and tiny strings of lights decorate the back, where some sort of brighter blue light pulses like a heart beat, slowly. It's hard to notice unless you are watching it change. xxxxxThe counter boasts only two distinctly different features: in the center there is a game labelled GNOMESMASHERS; if you look to the right of it, there is a plate of brownies iced in a shade of blue that matches the heart of the booth. Play Gnomesmashers for Carnival Tickets and the Booth Minipet.
xxxxxTake a Brownie?
A little tag to the side of the plate probably once assured you that the very-sugary looking brownies are normal. Really normal. That, however, has been scratched out. Instead, it reads eat at your own risk.Stomach gurgling prompts you.
xxxxxInspect Gnomesmashers?
It's a plastic, worn-out looking game where you mash controls to make your gnome pummel the other gnome with its tiny plastic fists. It seems like Amarus was feeling benevolent, as they are not real gnomes; how sweet. Amarus is smiling with some secret kept as she selects her gnome, the one all in black, and she tells you that every go costs pumpkin seeds. Not a lot, mind you-- why not try?

There are brownies. You can take as many as you feel like paying for, and then wash it down with some pink lemonade-- the cups cost extra, however, as a small slightly hidden sign indicates. The little tag slipped under the plate indicates they are very definitely normal brownies-- do you feel brave enough to eat one?
Anyone who plays Gnomesmashers may take one brownie, free of charge.
xxxxxTake a Brownie, cupcake, or lemonade?
Roll 1d8 to determine the effects. On a scale of 1 to 8, that is the severity: 1 being you are seemingly immune, or got one that was narcotic-free; 8 being you feel any of the effects from a sense of disconnect with time, a longing to stay at the booth, mellowness, drowsiness, visual effects, etc. A sense of bliss is usually iconic. The effect can wear off as soon as you like!
[[ OOC: This is for fun, take whatever snacks you want, but talk to Amarus if you do! ]]

To play, roll 5d10 in one post, and match to the results. Tally up the damage to get your score, and the SUM of all your dice is the time you managed to last. 1-2: Your gnome hits with the force of a typhoon. If it was a typhoon made of pillow feathers. +5. 3-4: Your gnome feebly pushes its tiny plastic fists at the other gnome, like it's trying to inflict damage by pawing pathetically. +3 5-6: Nothing happens, the gnomes don't respond to commands for a brief, shining moment of peace. +/- 0. 7-8: Nothing seems to stop the onslaught of punches. Does the other gnome have a secret rapid punch?? -5. 9: Your gnome just got sucker punched. It seems pretty likely this game is rigged, or Amarus is cheating. -10 10: Did the booth's resident gnome just shiv yours?! It isn't clear what happened, it was such a blur, but your gnome is just wrecked. INSTANT GAME OVER. Ignore your other results after this!
[[ You can play until you win a ticket ! Only your first roll counts towards the time challenge, however. Please post your Minis SN if you won the duration record ]]
Did you score 5-10+? Congratulations! You received a Carnival Ticket! Did you achieve a new current high score today for longest time lasted? Double-congratulations! You get the booth-mini, up to ten can be distributed per day. After that, you're out of luck for the day! sad

Amarus took up the controls for both gnomes, for fun, before anyone else could arrive. At first, the purple gnome seemed like it might be okay. Suddenly, the black gnome delivered fists of fury that left hers losing plastic panels left and right.
Amarus was reduced to laughing quietly behind the booth for quite a while.
3, 9, 9, 9, 6 : She lasted for 36 seconds. Her score is -27.
[[OOC demo post! This will not count towards the booth's high score for time lasted, nor will I get anything from this! ]]
The quiet laughing was met with a hiss from Sludge whom had just stumbled upon this newly opened booth. The xenomorph was intrigued by the little plastic gnomes that were set up, and knew how to play it having seen how Amarus had used it.
Picking up a controller, he then began to press the buttons and watch the little gnome punch the other one until it was defeated.
( 1, 1, 4, 9, 7: He lasted for 22 seconds, his score is 20 )

The hiss didn't bother Amarus. In fact, it seemed to be met with a smile that was even more cheshire-like. "Bad luck," she said, gesturing to the defeated gnome with the shrug of one shoulder.
"You have the first high score of the day, though, so enjoy your prize," she said, handing out a booth minipet.
The Current High Score for Duration is now 22

Just in case you don't see the minis site, you received the booth mini for your duration score but a 9 is actually a negative 10, and a 7 is another negative 5 I think! So I believe when I looked, you had a 3. So close!
Sludge didn't appear worried that he lost, as he had enjoyed playing the gnome game immensely. Plus he was given a mini for his troubles, so he dipped his head as a show of thanks.

Ack! sorry about that, I added the 1s to the duration then subtracted the -10 and -5 from that, which is how I got the 20 XD;

Ryou stared blankly at the screen. Well...errrr...that was fast. He would have to come back later. That was too pathetic.
Lusine thought the boxing gnome game was a little violent, but she was willing to give it a go. She started off ok, but the then black gnome began to pumble her poor little fighter
+5 -5 +5 -10 +3 = -2 | She lasted 26 seconds against the gnome's onslaught.
Arynek adored the colors used of this mysterious booth, she asked to play the Gnomesmashers, but apparently she had no idea how to control electronic appliances.
She was in a big shock and kept blinking until the one behind her called.

I got a 10 and gameover but my time record is 40? SN: yuo117 in case I win???
Yes, his little gnome was kicking but, first with a good punch, than a better one... but a moment later it was all game over. Maybe his gnome had come up lame or something. Shiki blinked at the little fighter and shook his head in disbelief. -2? His score was worse than nothing??
Oh well, he was still feeling great from the dessert he had at another booth so he drifted away feeling like he was flying.
If it wasn't for the emotion sugar-high Nova might have been tempted for a brownie, as it was the game drew his attention more. His wings fluttered, something that happened constantly when he got the least bit interested in anything. This booth was a lot more put together than the ones he'd visited already today. Oh, game!
Man, he'd started so well with the first two hit, but then all his points were gone in the third. Nova waited just long enough for the points to reset and started the Gnomesmashers game again.
