Hey everyone! Welcome to our Revolution: Gaia Summer cookout event! This guild is all about being heard and fighting for the Gaia we once loved but this weekend it's also about having some fun and getting to know each other! Summer time is here, at least where I am, and along with the heat, humidity, and the occasional summer storm there are also the delicious smells of cookouts! I live in the South and here cookouts and get-togethers outside are a summer tradition. I didn't know what when I moved here but it's something I absolutely love now. Food on the grill, good company, games, and plenty of mosquito repellent are the creators of some wonderful summer memories for many people.
Your Guild Council here at Rev:Gaia wanted to re-create these warm feelings with you, our community. Thank you guys so much for all of your support and passion. Every single one of us is a loyal Gaian trying to be heard and this guild has created a wonderful atmosphere of creativity and passion. This event is for you guys. I'll stop yammering now but please remember that we're a community here and we would be nothing without your support!

Every event needs to have some rules. Please note that specific contests may have a different set of rules so please make absolutely sure that you read the rules in each thread you attend. That being said, here are some broad guidelines to follow throughout this event!
Follow the GaiaOnline TOS and our Guild Guidelines at all times.
Don't start trouble or cause any drama during this event. Any arguments you have need to be taken elsewhere. This event is for fun and togetherness, not drama and meanie-faces.
Follow all specific contest rules and deadlines. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action by our crew. We don't like to punish people so please don't make us.

A Referral Contest Refer people to the guild during the event and have them put your name in their join request. The most referrals by 8/15 will win 5 Billion gold from me!* Daily Dress Up! Dress up with each day's theme and you could win big! Every day we'll have a new couple of winners! Revolution:Gaia Lotto! Pick a number, send a charm, possibly win big! So you think you can (GIF) Dance? Show off your gif-moves and compete against your fellow guildies for prizes and laughs! Revolution: Art! We have a lot of creative guildies here! Let's showcase that with a Revolution:Gaia art contest. You can win big! Campfire Tales Write us a short story. It can be spooky, funny, sweet, whatever you want! We'll post up these tales and read them together on the final day of the event! Banner Makeover Create a brand-new banner for Revolution: Gaia! Council's choice will win gold! Win-Win Gold Sink Our own Pwnder has set up an awesome gold sink for you guys! Now that the Gold Gens are gone (for the time being) this can help us get the market back to a stable place!!
By the Grill You guys want some free art? I want to give you some free art! Artists and art lovers unite in this thread to give and receive art to each other!
Movie Night! On the last night of the event I'll livestream a movie from netflix that we can all watch together in our jammies! Don't forget to vote in the poll to pick the film!
Cookout King and Queen! Our Cookout King and Queen will be chosen by their overall participation in this event. Each of them will receive a Crown of the Thrice Great crafted by Pwnder as well as a large gold prize and other item prizes (tba) from me!
