Kano was leading the girls to the pool and he looked around seeing that no one was around but at the swim store by the changing rooms at the far side of the pool. Here we are the pool it just opened a few days ago so its still new. He says as he walks towards the changing room for men.
((The pool is much bigger then in the pic it just to show the over all feel of it))

 Alexandra Marie "Shadowfall" Blackgate"Let's get changed." She said to Alynn, as she felt her nervousness. She grabbed her wrist, grabbing her to the dressing rooms.

 Aevalynn yanks her wrist free from Alex's. She wasn't fond of contact from people she didn't know very well, and it made her just as nervous as the pool. She had learned not to get too close to strangers until she knew them well enough it was okay to trust them. She had learned that from both her cruel parents and the warlock who took her in. So she gently rubs her wrist as she glances around the area, but avoided looking at the pool at all costs. The moment she did, she wouldn't be able to hide her nervousness.

"Are you okay?" she asks with a concerned voice. "You can tell me if something's wrong." Something seemed wrong for her, judging from the look she just gave.

Aevalynn sighs and walks past Alex into the changing room. "I'm fine. I don't like being touched, sorry. It brings up bad memories. I'm sorry for acting how I did." She stops and turns back around, offering her an apologetic smile. "Come on, last one in the pool is a rotten egg, so you better hurry up." She grins then runs into the changing room, giggling softly. Once she made it in the dressing room, she frowns a bit. How am I going to hide the knife, she asked herself. The thought made her nervous.

Alexandra Marie "Shadowfall" BlackgateShe giggles as she chases her new friend. It felt like heaven to be able to act lightheartedly again. She opens the door to dressing room. "Hurry up." Then she goes to a cabinet, wears the swimsuit quietly and goes back to the pool, waiting for Alynn.

Aevalynn switches into her swimsuit, taking off the knife and hiding it in her dress, she glances down at her scars on her thighs and shoulders before sighing softly. It was one of the disadvantages of cutting; showing the ugly scars that remained. She sighs and walks out of the changing room and towards the pool. She saw the water, and the fear built up. She trembles slightly before forcing her gaze towards the side of the pool. She built up a little courage and walked over to it.

Kano came out of the changing room wearing black and blue swim trunks and his glasses that he took off and put on a chair where his towel was,he then seen Alex and Alynn exit the changing room. Kano seen the look on Alynn's face and walked up next to her,Kano was vary fit for a warlock he had vary well defined muscles along with a six pack he also had countless scars including whip marks across his back. Kano smiles warmly. It wont hurt you Alynn come I'll show you. He says softly as he steps off the edge of the pool but his foot doesn't go into the water instead he walks onto of the surface,then he turns to Alynn and holds out a hand to her. The water is not deep here so don't worry. He says warmly.

Aevalynn watches him, then glances at the water, terrified. Last time she had managed to get in water, well, it didn't emd very well. The thought of going under and not being able to reach the surface again made her tremble worse. She shook her head, backing away from the water. "A-actually, y'know I think I'll just sit over there..and watch, y'know? Away from the pool...Where it's safe..." Aevalynn backed up to the wall, trembling. Her knees buckle and she falls to the ground, folding her arms over her chest as she stares nervously at the water. She couldn't trust her family not to let her drown, so how could she trust these too? She didn't see any harm coming from them, but she'd only just met them. And she didn't want to make the same mistake twice.

Kano came out of the pool and walked over to her and gently put a hand on her head. Calm down Alynn,its alright to be afraid. His voice was gentle and soothing. Kano let his hand glow softly,he used his powers to try and calm the girl down but to do that she needed to trust him even just a little. Kano then lowered his voice even more so only Alynn could hear him. Alynn don't let the past control you,let me help you. He says giving her a knowing look but along with a gentle smile,he knew what she went through because he went through much the same thing.

Alexandra Marie "Shadowfall" BlackgateShe sits on a chair as she watches Kano and Alynn. She didn't knew Alynn is afraid of water. She stood up and approached them slowly. "Don't force yourself. You can enter whenever you want." she said, smiling. "I can help you however I can." She felt that if Alynn would be forced some more, she would go berserk. "Come on, lets have a cold drink. On me."OOC; I won't be able to post actively for a couple days but I can check out at nights.

Aevalynn flinches as he put his hand on her head, expecting to be hit or hurt somehow, but when he just rested his hand there, she relaxed slightly. Her trembling slowly faded away as the magic calmed her down. She glances up at him, the terrified look fading away. She trusted him a little. Surely if he wanted to hurt her, he would have already. He didn't seem like one to hurt her, and so she placed the little faith she had in him as she relaxed. She glances over towards the pool, then back up at Kano. She was speechless.

Kano smiles at Alynn and slowly helps her to her feet. If you want to learn to swim just ask both me and Alex will help you. He says as he walks her to a chair by the waters edge but not to close so he didn't scare her,he then sits her down. He looked over at Alex and smiles. I would love a drink and pleas tell them Kano sent you,you can get them cheaper that way. He says then he looks back at Alynn. Do you want a drink? He asks as he sits beside her in another chair.
