Name: Lucien Tokeran Age: 18 Gender: male Sexual orientation: heterosexual Favorite sayings: If you didn't want it stolen, you shouldn't have left it in plain sight.You can't catch the wind.Powers: mostly mundane, Lucien is a skilled acrobat, and an even more skilled thief. Can use a knife very well. After becoming an ambassador for the wind spirits he can make himself as intangible as the wind, allowing him to make himself into a breeze to travel quickly. Subject to the favors of the wind spirits, this makes his body very suspect-able to the cold and any stronger wind than his, which is a light breeze.  Bio: Lucien Tokeron is the older brother of Mikora da Roma. A b*****d child like her, he gave himself the Tokeron to hid the fact of his birth from others. Setting to making himself better off than some gutter child of Rome he set out to make a name of himself, leaving his sister to her own ill-advised devices. In his travels, he found himself in a position to ingratiate himself with the Wind Court, the barely political center for all wind spirits that blow across the world. He managed to convince these spirits that people in need of speaking with the wind needed a face by which to speak with, and thus became a sort of ambassador for the Wind Court, with access to the powers of the winds. He then returned to Rome to take of his sister, becoming as embroiled in crime and the thieves guilds of Rome. When his sister was injured, he automatically whisked her to a healer, whom to the best of their abilities healed what they could. Fearing for not only his safety but his sister's, he asked the winds to take them somewhere they could be safer. They were sent to Kuro Shiro. Once in Kuro Shiro and his sister was well enough to join him, he entered the underworld of Kuro Shiro. [More when we kick off the reboot] Personality: Lucien comes off as a very careless individual with a political mind, with no regard for anyone but himself and Miko, but the reality is that the boy harbors a lot of hate for abuse and can be more stubborn than a mule when he wants something. Powers: A ring and a necklace render her capable of shifting into a black rat and a crow.
Other: Experienced sneak-thief, master pickpocket and lock-picker, almost impossible to hear when she tries to be sneaky.
She cannot talk above a whisper that sounds similar to a snake, which makes it difficult for many to trust her. If she speaks above a whisper, runs for too long, talks for too long, or doesn't chew her food thoroughly enough, the wound in her throat ruptures and she begins to choke on blood.
Appearance: She is close to five foot two with pockets all over the insides of her clothes. Very skinny due a constant lack of food. .
Bio: Miko grew up on the streets of Roma, Italy; she never knew her father and her mother was a well-known prostitute, so anybody could have been. She got into crime early, stealing food from the markets and running from the guards by escaping onto the rooftops. She was largely left alone, seeing as her mother wasn't exactly a role model and her older brother was often literally gone with the wind. She became deeply embroiled in the affairs of the myriad thieves guilds of Rome, but never joined with one to preserve some independence.
But eventually the guilds grew tired of such a dangerous liability and decided to use her as a lesson against fence-sitters. They cornered her one nights, forced her mouth open and poured hot oil down it, she was then left for dead in a ditch where Lucien eventually found her and brought her to a healer, who could only prevent her from dying, leaving her with a ruined voice.
She followed Lucien to Kuro Shiro in search of peace, but old habits died hard and she eventually started up a career as a freelance thief.
Personality: A very sad and quiet individual with a surprising stubborn streak. Looking at her eyes often allows you to see how she feels about things, as well as lets you glimpse the pain she suffers with everyday. Hates to fight, prefers to run away if possible. Carries no weaponry due to her hatred of fighting. Likes to keep people at a distance, lets no one close due to a belief that all people would inevitably hurt her, with the exception of Lucien. Distrusts anyone who so much as says one white lie to her.
Side: Good by nature, Bad by necessity.

Powers: Flight, can manipulate the air and winds. Can cause wind related storms at will.
Appearance: Embodiment of a wind that comes in from the sea, thus doesn't really have an appearance. Most people that speak with him get the impression that he looks something like this 
Bio: Ollor has been around as long as the sea has crashed upon the shores of the land near Kuro Shiro. He is a powerful wind spirit, responsible for many wind related occurrences, including storms. A valued member of the Wind Court, he is considered one of the Court's big fish, there are very few winds larger than he is, except of course the four Wind Lords, who oversee the north, south, west, and easterly winds.
Personality: Ollor is a somewhat playful wind, though like all storm bearing winds his anger is quick to rouse, but also quite to abate. Thus he can sometimes come across as unpredictable. Like many wind spirits of his size and power, he feels responsible for the occurrences of any element he ties himself to being used, and can be quite nosy about it. He sometimes can be called mischievous and enjoys wreaking havoc, (if asked to do so of course).

She is capable of only transforming part of her as well as changing her hair color between blue and black, the colors of her wolf form.She has some magical capabilities as well but mostly her powers are limited.
Other: half-Immortal and as such has reached the age of 22 and her aging has slowed down greatly. She has several siblings she doesn't know about. She is a descendant to the founders of the town, and as such, feels this town belongs to her and is very protective of it. It is the one thing she can call hers. Her ability to turn into a child also allows her to reset her own physical aging cycle.

Axel's birthday is on 25 September 1994. He loves eating meat in his natural form, but also enjoys a good cheeseburger or two.Appearance:
  Bio: His family is of Greek and French backgrounds. He was born in France, living in the country up until he was three, before living in Greece for a year until he made the final move to the United States. His family immediately found a nice home in Kuro Shiro where business ventures could be found in the surrounding areas.
The young man has never had a problem growing up as a shapeshifter and nothing really bothers him except his six younger siblings—his four younger sisters and his baby twin brothers. Otherwise, he has an uneventful life in an uneventful family, not including stealing a police car and several other petty crimes from when he was in middle school and high school, but of course, since Kuro Shiro has no laws, he was never charged or processed for the crimes, but his parents made him pay with community service, even though the police car was a piece of junk no one used. He's convinced it's just in town to look nice.Personality: Rather brash and impatient, but kind and considerate when you get to know him. Axel loves his family despite how annoying they are. He really does, they just drive him bonkers most days, so his affections are rarely shown to the public eye. However, once at home where he can be at ease, he's a loving and fun big brother. He's also a loving and fun romantic partner. When he commits to someone, he commits himself whole-heartedly. This has led to nary a number of bad incidents involving the sheriff's daughter and the local animal control officer's two sons. However, despite his overall personality, he will focus on a task and complete it, if only for the praise and attention it will give him.

She developed her magic to the point where she doesn't need a wand, but sometimes uses her wand when the need arises.Other: She's a very intelligent girl and very adaptive to any situation. She uses her physical and mental strength to defeat enemies much stronger than her.
Malak was born on 17 November 1995 at the Cleveland Metropolitan Hospital. As a small child, she unknowingly got herself involved in the Sanchez's affairs, but she's completely unaware of this. In truth, it is her intuition that has led her to meddle in Silver's life and protect him.Appearance:  Bio: Malak was born in a Ohioan suburb surrounded by family and friends until all her aunts, uncles, and their children moved to and around the area of Kuro Shiro. And, as Arabs do, her family moved to Kuro Shiro as well to be near family...and for more business opportunities, though that doesn't make much sense to her. They had plenty of opportunities in Ohio, but she guessed her family got into a bad business deal or something; or they just wanted to move to a place only magical peoples could find, which included her witchy family and relatives. She's convinced her family has caused the greatest influx in the population in the last hundred years since her immediate family and her father's two brothers and two sisters along with her mother's three sisters and two brothers and their spouses and children moved to town with them.
Her father co-owns a convenience store in the town with his brothers and her mother works as nurse for the elderly with her sisters. Her maternal uncles co-own a grocery store with their wives. She has settled in well in the new town and doesn't think much of it. She misses Ohio and her friends, but she keeps in touch with text messages and emails. Basically, she's doing just fine, but keeps to herself unless school requires her to interact with people, which she generally does not do.Personality: Her personality ranges from a cunning deviant, a cynical sadist, a sweet, motherly type, to the reliable best friend. But, in general, she plays the good girl and does not cause trouble. Once she gets a good feel on you, you see her real personality.

Her shifting abilities comes from her family's history with animals. Thousands of years ago a pact between animal and forest elf made it so the spirits of animals who die protecting them, or because of them, would bond with the elves of that bloodline. However some animals were not happy with the agreement so at times she expresses some animals' angry spirits and some animals' happy ones.
Personality: Aura can be shy at times, but she is also somewhat unpredictable. She has a good and self-less heart.

At most, he can perform simple and semi-complex transformation spells and other minor spells. He isn't the most gifted of sorcerers.
He's half-alchemist, not that he's aware of it, so if he is ever introduced to alchemy, he'll find himself extremely skilled in the field and this will lead to him unblocking his problems with his magic. However, he will not be unstoppable in both fields of power, just good, like slightly above average good, which is better than being completely terrible and at an infant's level of spell casting.Other: What he lacks in magical skills, he excels in science and mathematics. Despite his lazy appearance, Silver is a academic and street genus. This keeps his nose clean and eyes off him when he goes to practice his sorcery away from his fellow sorcerers. He can also cook complex and delicious meals and clean a household like no other.
Silver was born on 31 May 1996 in Los Angeles because his parents were traveling by car on their way back to Kuro Shiro. However, he was flown to Kuro Shiro as soon as possible. Silver has fallen in love with Malak despite knowing it's a bad idea, but he's not going to stop himself.Appearance:   Bio: Silver never knew his mother, she died from hemorrhagic bleeding during childbirth, so he views his stepmother as his real mother. He has never thought about his actual mother or cared what she looked like because his father already told him all about her since they have a policy of no secrets. Besides his late mother, Silver has never had any emotional, personal, or physical problems. He gets along fine with his three half-siblings and stepmother, as well as his stepmother's parents. However, the string of heart-broken ex-girlfriends and their angry fathers do have a problem with him, but Silver doesn't care. He's happy with his life as it is.
Now, Silver is at the top of his class in community college—he found all his peers boring and irritating, so he decided to take summer classes and skip three years of high school. It also helps keep him from the other sorcerer children who are far more gifted than he is in magic so he wouldn't be distracted from his academic and magical studies—and will be going to a private university once he's got enough credits for his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
Now, in conjunction with his history, it needs to be said that his family is more than well off. They have been living in Kuro Shiro since before it was founded and they have a mass family fortune. He lives in an old family manor and family servants—also sorcerers and half-sorcerers—who have served his family since before the manor was built.Personality: Silver is a ditsy, yet happy-go-lucky guy who enjoys leaving a string of broken hearts. Of course, that's his persona when around friends. In actuality, he's a lazy, often times unmotivated young man who deeply loves his family, especially his three younger siblings. He practices his magic just so he can protect them, but because he's terrible at magic, he trains by himself until he can protect them without shaming them. So, because he's terrible at magic, he works hard at school to give his three siblings a reason to be proud of him and to set a good example for them.

Powers: Kitty is a cat who can change into a human form. Not a shapeshifter, who's main form is a human, her main form is a cat, but a spell cast on her allows her to become human when needed. In both human and cat form, she can talk and does so quite frequently.
Other: She considers herself Silver's Familiar and will run errands for him and tried to keep things in his life in as much order as possible.
Appearance: In her natural cat form, she's a jet black cat with bright yellow-green eyes, and a black collar with a big silver bell.
As a human, she has long, straight hair, her bright cat-like eyes; and she's fairly short. She's always wearing whatever strange things she can find to wear as a human, and often wears them wrong. (Human clothes make no sense to a cat.) She still retains some of her agility and balance as a human.
Bio: She was born how any cat is, in a litter of kittens to her mother, who cared for her until she was old enough to care for herself. Her mother was the Familiar of a very brilliant wizard, and when she got word that her mother passed away, she returned to take over the Familiar position her mother had held.
Eventually, the wizard placed an enchantment on her, to allow her to become human, so he wouldn't feel so lonely. He didn't last long after that however, as he was very old himself, and when she turned 14, the wizard who had called her "Mrs. Kitty" passed away.
So she once again ventured out on her own, and bumped into Silver on a rainy day. She could tell he was a wizard right away, and when he picked her up and put her somewhere out of the rain, calling her "kitty", she realized she had just found the wizard she wanted to be the Familiar for.
She hasn't got the guts to ask him quite yet, or to show him her human side, so she follows him around.
Update:
After being chased around and stuffed into a doll's dress, Mrs. Kitty has finally met Silver again, and has asked him to make the contract with her, that would make her his Familiar.
Personality: She's a bit of an old maid for her age and could even be called a nag. She likes to run a tight ship, so it's a wonder she chose Silver. She is the kind who will follow him around like a mother hen, cleaning up after him, and scolding him. But she really does care for him, and would defend him with her last breath.

Bio: Kuro and Shiro were born to the founders of the town, and the town was named after them. The towns aura revolves around them. She grew up getting up to no good, breaking hearts and breaking bones. Sometimes people were scared of her and her willingness to do anything regarding dark magic from blood-packs and Ouija boards to selling her soul if it got her what she wanted. When she got a little older, she wanted to explore the world, feeling like her wings were being clipped by the dull town, and her sister was forced to go as a vice. Without her, she usually went off the deep end.
Personality: Cold, heartless, inconsiderate, greedy, sly, loud, proud, intelligent, possessive, and all those other things you use to describe negativity. To her twin, she is much more considerate, kind, compassionate and understanding as as long as he is around she usually acts relatively normal though is prone to anger driven outbursts and spite.

Powers: Healing though it takes her own energy, light magic, enchanting items for good luck or other beneficial features, talking with animals of the light and she can speak to the elementals and spirits that have not taken a humanoid form.

Appearance: (only the black clothing is white)
She typically wears a of light weight bright clothes, and loves lace and bows. she shares many of the same outfits as her twin though usually tweaked to be more conservative and usually a lighter color such as pastels or white.
Unlike Kuro she likes dresses and bows.  Other Alternate clothes the same as Kuro's, but in pink and cream colours.
Bio: Kuro and Shiro were born to the founders of the town, and the town was named after them. The towns aura revolves around them. She grew up trying to keep her twin sister out of trouble, and helping those in need, lending an ear for their troubles. People often find her easy to talk to, a great listener with a lot of empathy and she can be lucky for those around her. She's hardly every angry and can't seem to do any wrong. When she got a little older, she was forced to follow Kuro on an adventure, afraid of what her sister would get herself into if she went by herself. She is fiercely loyal to her twin sister, despite their apparent differences, and feels responsible for looking out for her.
Personality: Kinda, caring, loyal, friendly, compassionate and tirelessly works to show others love and affection. Though, to her sister, she can be a bit annoying or scolding her, things she wouldn't do to others.

Powers:
Demonic alchemy - Alchemy is alchemy, some people just have access to different materials and have mastery of different area's of the technique. Demonic alchemy focuses more on the supernatural effects and reactions, including and often focusing on those forbidden by others such as human transmutation and creating life.
Astral, mental, and dream demonic-magic - She is able to enter dreams and other worlds and invoke the powers of the world itself and the beings within it to do her bidding. Basically the fancy way of saying she can use demonic alchemy but can also do some other dream based and mystical demon stuff. She can use whatever is openly available. She can't control your mind or anything but she can give you urges by looking you in the eye or with the sound of her voice.
Eye of truths- her hidden eye can see through all illusions and into people's dreams. It can also give her very strong control over those not "born under a strong star" (Basically NPCs and willing RPCs). With it she sees peoples nature and can see through the eyepatch and through masks in a manner of speaking. She will see your true form with it. Phantoms, invisible things, etc she sees all things with it and can see through things with it. She may also use it to peer into other worlds without actually crossing over.
Demonic contract power- She can make contracts with people and make all sorts of bizarre things happen. To escape a contract you must complete some sort of strange challenge she has for you. She can lend some magical abilities or useful curses to others using this.
Other: A demon born into the world from the carnal indulgences of the world's inhabitants. She is capable of many funny demonic sorts of things but the above is her "skillset". She has about as much malice towards the world as a lion has for a tasty meal. The world is food to her.
Appearance:
Bio: When born it was an idea or philosophy that had come to life. It saw the world and gave itself a shape imitating the features of things it found beautiful. Ever since it has thrived in the sins of this world carefully putting in place the tools for it to destroy itself.
She appears and disappears from history as though she could enter and leave existence at will. Her name sometimes disappears from texts where there is no magic to hold it in place. She lives in the shadow of history and in the dreams and reflections people tend to forget they saw. She appears on occasion to feed and indulge in the world and plant more seeds of chaos. Often she does so under a kind and wise premise.
Luckily for many she sees far beyond any one small instance of time. She may or may not be helpful to those that meet her but even if she convinced herself to do good it is in her nature to commit acts of evil even if she has to lie to herself.
Personality:
A liar who rarely tells a lie. Vain and selfish. Callous and shrewd. She prefers a more sophisticated style of raising hell so you're about as safe around her as you are far away from her. Just don't expect to leave the way you came if you sleep over or anything.
Though she fails to care much about others she tends to show great favor to those that praise and exalt her or bring her any other sort of pleasure. She would happily trade treasure for a contract to make you her follower/minion for a time.

Name: Death ( goes by 'Dorrie.' ) Age: unknown Gender: male Resident for: a very long time Sexual Orientation: unknown Favorite saying: "Death's come a'knocking." Powers: He is a gateway for dead souls to cross over. They go through him, and he sees their life flash before his eyes as they do. Other: ages very slowly. Carries a sythe made of bone. Appearance: Dorrie has the appearance of a very young boy (around 9), with blond hair and very pale skin, almost white, and dark blood red eyes. He is usually covered with a back head-to-toe robe, with a ripped bottom and a long pointy hood usually pulled up over his head. If you could see his skin under the cloak, you would see millions of little black tallies on his skin like tattoo, one for each sole that passes through him, and the continue to appear. Eyes:  Bio: Dorrie doesn't remember where he came from or how long he has existed. He only knows that wherever he goes, spirits of the dead pass though him, and that his true name is Death. Personality: Dorrie is very quiet and shy, and very unopposing to be around, aside from his unnerving eyes. He tried not to make direct eye contact with for too long, as he knows his eyes are scary. Though he looks young, he is very intelligent and capable. He has seen and learned a lot from the spirits who's lives he's seen, and is very old as well. He is a bit at conflict with himself and what he is, but he doesn't hate it. More like he assumes others will, and tried to keep others at an arms length.
