Mewsings of An Angel`s Teepee || Pinchmonster`s Teepee

::Setting::
Among a field of bright flowers just after sunrise, the clouds are bathed in a pink and gold glow from the rising sun.
A cool breeze sweeps through the field, carrying the smells of lavender, mint, and crushed spring grasses.
The sun brings a feeling of heat to come further in the day.
But for now, the morning is perfect.
Nearby, the sounds of water falling can be heard as it falls over the side of a small cliff, falling into a pool of clear water at it's base.
The music of birds permeates the air, greeting the morning.

Jaela loved the morning. There was something so peaceful and tranquil about the early, cool breeze. Paired with the soft trills and calls of songbirds, the entire scene was rather picturesque. The scent of sweet flowers was delicate on the air, and Jaela inhaled deeply as she settled down next to the vivid green pond that the small, musical waterfall fed.

This was when she felt her most peaceful, at one with the world around her and in perfect solitude. Beauty was everywhere around her, and Jaela drew it all in. This day, especially, felt more vibrant and vivid. Jaela wasn't sure why. It simply did, and Jaela was not one to question it.

The little butterflies that seemed to perpetually follow the mare settled on the long curls of her mane. Jaela was left feeling utterly content and completely fulfilled, despite her solitude. She had gotten used to being alone, nature her only companion. It was easier this way, really it was.

Lifting her face towards the sky, Jaela's eyelids fluttered closed and a small smile flickered across her features.

This was bliss. Jaela was certain of it.

Yngvarr couldn't help feeling slightly less manly right at this moment. He was standing in a field of flowers of radiant color and they seemed to love him. Or his tail, rather. His tail had become a magnet, and as he walked through the meadow, it seemed to have attracted quite a bouquet. He frowned, flicking his tail repeatedly in a futile attempt to dislodge them. After a few minutes to no avail, he snorted in a resigned fashion. "Och, I'm stuck with ye little flowers, aren't I?" He murmured, clearly feeling moody at this.

He continued onward, pushed onward by the sound of water running. He was thirsty from wandering, as he had no real path to follow. His sister was off somewhere, enjoying the peace of this land. But where did that leave him? He felt without purpose.

He scrunched up his dark eyes at the thought, and continued onward, his pace picking up til he was in a near gallop, racing through the flowers and tall grasses. He was a rather tall and heavyset horse, and with every hoof that fell to earth, he thundered onward toward the water he could see glistening in the distance.

Yngvarr soon came to the water, mist touching his face as water made it's journey over the lip of the cliff to the pool below. And there, beside the pool, was a pink figure. He could smell her from here. It was definitely a her, a feminine odor touched him, smelling of flowers and honey. A sweet smell. Be slow. He reminded himself. He could appear terrifying to some if he came charging up.

The waterfall was only the slightest constant trickle, and when she heard the slight thundering sound Jaela immediately opened her eyes and glanced towards the crystal clear water. No, the noise certainly hadn't come from there. Her attention once more turned skyward, and Jaela was half-expecting the sky to be dark with clouds. It was as blue as it had been mere moments before, and Jaela was left feeling a little baffled.

Until she caught his scent.

It was masculine and a little wild, but not off-putting. Quite the opposite. Even still, interaction was not easy for Jaela, and when she finally saw the male - he was utterly massive - the slight kirin rose to her feet and watched him warily.

She had little doubt that she could outrun him. He was big, but he was bulky - and she was small, quick and nimble.

Jaela did not run, but she looked prepared to take off if threatened even the slightest. She did not speak, but watched the male carefully, ears pricked and eyes alert. The pool was large enough for them to share, absolutely, but Jaela was wary of all strangers.

Especially giants.

Yngvarr's ears flicked upward when the mare stood. She was dainty, moreso than he was expecting. Her frame was similar to a deer, thin-boned and strangely covered in scales. A horn protruded from her forehead and butterflies flitted around her, woken into a frenzy by Jaela's rising nerves. What was this creature?

With a soft snort, the stallion stepped carefully down the slope, making his way down through the rocks to reach the bottom. Mist formed droplets on his face and mane as he neared the waterfall and the mare who stood at attention staring at him with the palest blue eyes he had ever laid his own upon.

"Easy, lass. I don' mean yeh any harm." He murmured, trying to sound as assuring as possible. But he he could not hide his curiosity. The scales and horn made him think of a dragon... could she be some wingless descendant of those mythical creatures?

He edged closer, his head lowered slightly as his dark eyes took in the mare.

The brogue of his voice was soft, but Jaela didn't want to take him at his word. Not yet, despite the fact that he wasn't charging forward with murderous intent in the depths of his eyes. His size made her a little nervous, but there was something oddly comforting about it, as well. She'd never seen such a large stallion before in her life - not that it was saying much, really, as Jaela was not so world-wise herself.

There was something picturesque about the way he came through the mist of the falls. The drops of water that collected across his features and in his mane glinted softly in the sun, casting minuscule rainbows across the stark patterns of his face. There was beauty in all things if one only took the time to look.

Her long tail flicked just the slightest as she watched him approach, though her muscles were taut. She was ready to bolt if he showed any unkind inclination towards her. Jaela was skittish, yes, but she was not terrified.

Not yet, at least.

He continued his forward movement, his hooves scrabbling lightly against the wet stones that lined the bank. He tried to be delicate with his movements so as not to frightened the pink-hued mare, but being a giant had it's disadvantages. Aye, to move with daintiness was not a trait he would say he possessed. But oh, how he took care to move gently that moment. He raised his gaze from the stones and looked once more at the mare, taking in the beautiful curls and shiny scales that covered her frame. She was a very dainty thing, like a little bird next to his tall stature. "Yor very lovely, milady." He said, bowing his head, which caused his black and white hair to fall in an unruly mess into his eyes. Finally within a few feet of her, he stopped and raised his head, peering with dark eyes at her. He wonder if he looked frightening to her lovely pale eyes.

"Milady, I am Yngvarr, and I come from those distant mountains to the north, a place called Hjordheim. A stranger to yer lands... but I have coome here to make me a home regardless!" A small smile lit his face and he flicked his long tail, scattering droplets from it.
