Welcome to Arcana, A word ruled by royalty and stricken with warring tribes. Some live in prosperity, with large manors and many human servants, while others live in poverty in small huts, scrapping by for food and just trying to survive.

The land is ruled by a single royal Queen with no heirs. The queen has sworn off marriage and is currently holding a contest to find the next ruler of the country. The contest is something that happens once every three hundred years. Creatures of all kind come from all over the land to participate and see if they have what it takes to become the next ruler. There are demons, elves, were-beings, and magical being such as witches and warlocks.

The contest lasts many months, during a special festival called the Festival of Blood. During this festival, the Royal City holds fights. The fights were something that only the strongest participated in. The winner gained wealth and automatically ascended the ladder to Nobility. The loser of the final match would be publicly executed.

The land of Arcana welcomes you. Choose your life and you social class. The fight for survival begins.



Possible classes:

Noble- Highest class next to royalty. Has wealth and power. live near the palace.

Artisan- Workers. Middle class. Craftsmen. Has some wealth. Live in the center of town and essentially make up the shops and towns business.

Rats- Poorest of the people. Have little to no money. Live on the outskirts of town.

Assassins: Work directly for the queen. Makes sure the fights have the outcome the queen wants. Act as a police force in the city. Work for the nobles and royal family, but never the middle or lower classes.

Left is the female assassin outfit. Right is the male assassin outfit.
All Royal guard assassins wear a red scarf to cover their faces. Outfits may be slightly customized with hoods or cloaks and other things within means. All females have bows and arrows and katanas. Males have throwing knives and katanas.

All assassins that work for hire wear all black or the color of the family they work for.






Note***** Characters can be half human BUT NOT FULL HUMAN. Half humans are treated as the lowest of the low. They are treated worse then the human slaves kept by the nobles.

Ritic was running through the thick crowds of creatures trying his best to rid of the foul demons chasing him. "Help! Someone please!" His cyan blue eyes are wide in fear. He ran as far as his legs and lungs could carry him when one of the demons tackles him 75 feet in front of Queen Kassandra.

"Now that we've got you theif! You're going to repay us back by entering and dying in the Festival of Blood." Said the Stronger demon who is pinning the young 16 year old to the ground.

Ritic couldn't believe what he was hearing. The Queen wanted him? What for? He was only a street rat after all.

"Why should I hand over this thief? He stole my pocket watch..." the eldest male demon said while another said "and my coin purse." Both blurted out "We want justice for his crimes!"

Ritic's heart all about stopped in fear that they would get their wish by the hands of this nations Queen. "I didn't steal anything honest!" He shouts out struggling against his assaulter.

The demon nobles reluctantly got off the lithe boy and tossed him to the assassins feet and left without saying another word. Ritic sat there on his knees shaking, knowing the laws about stealing especially from nobles. Silently praying for his life once again he keeps his head down.
"Please don't kill me!" He begs in a hushed tone, not wanting to make a scene.

Ritic kept his head down and answered. "Ritic Faye... Your Majesty...." He got closer and kept quiet. "I-I'm a-a half elf ma'am....."

Ritic didn't want to answer. Just for the simple fact he was part of the lowest of the low.... Humans. "I'd rather not y-your majesty...." He just wanted to go home to know hes safe.

Ephira moved through the halls and came to a stop as she exited the building and stood next to the Queen. She knew Kassandra was busy with this elf/human, but she was not concerned with that, all she wanted was to get her payment. Kneeling, "My queen, the situation, has been dealt with." She was referring to the three men who had cheated her on some deal or something. She never asked for many details when she was asked to do a job, just the main specifics of what she needed. Name, possible location, and what the buyer wanted done.

Ephira watched as Camaren approached. "Hello again. What is it this time?" She was a free lance assassin but the queen had always been the highest buyer. Once Kassandra had offered her a job as a personal assassin in her ranks, but Ephira had always been more than rebellious and never liked to take orders, but if she could control whether or not she took a job, she would work for the queen.
