CHILDHOODSelena was the secondborn child of the Wynters family, a great disappointment because she was a girl and therefore undesirable as heir, the second of their two failures to produce a male offspring. Her parents had a son two years after, named Gregory, and so the title of Heir was immediately passed to him. Selena spent much of her youth in a similar fashion, constantly being passed over for her younger brother. Because of this, she grew to be very rebellious and obstinate. She spent a lot of her childhood trying to anger or annoy her parents. They grew increasingly displeased with her and decided that she was unfit to be their child, and often ignored her or were cruel to her. That her elder sister Dahlia proved to be everything she was not, the perfect picture of a proper daughter, was possibly the worst part; she could never have hoped to live up to the expectations of her parents or the example set by her. The pair despised one another, and she spent much of her childhood attempting to entice fights between them to make her act even a little out of line.
SCHOOL YEARS Selena's status as the pariah of the family was cemented when she was sorted into Gryffindor. She and her siblings, both of whom were sorted into Slytherin, ignored each other whenever even remotely possible. She excelled at Defensive charms and counter curses, and took up an interest in foreign cultures. She took every class she could on culture and history, dreaming of travelling away from her family after graduation. In her sixth year, her marriage was arranged the heir of a wealthy Slytherin family, a boy a year older than her who was positively horrible. She told her family she refused to wed him, but they insisted that the marriage would go on as planned as soon as the pair were out of school.
POST GRADUATIONThe wedding was set for the month after her graduation, and she spent much of the month at home ignoring all attempts to prepare, skipping fitting for a gown, claiming illness when it was time to choose colors (in fact, the only planning event she attended was to choose the menu, and only because she got to eat). On the fated day, she was missing, as was a substantial amount of money from the family bank account. The family spent a week looking for her and finally found her, staying n a muggle inn of all places. Furious with her refusal to marry the man and her fraternization with muggles, she was disowned. She soon after got a job for Terror Tours, working as a Researcher, a title that meant they would send her away to review locations such as Inns and Resorts so that they knew which businesses to work with. She enjoyed the job thoroughly, and her work was excellent. When she was 32, she decided she wanted to share her life with someone else, and adopted a daughter named Branwen. When the owner of Terror Tours wanted to retire, she used what little saving she had to buy the company from him so that she could continue to travel, taking advantage of the discounts offered to her as its new owner. She doesn't get to travel much anymore because she has to run the company, but when she does, it's cheap!

She thrives to have all of her questions answered. ■ Accident ProneBranwen is very, very clumsy. She tends to break things and cause things to happen that aren't necessarily good. ■ PassionateBranwen is very devoted to the things she takes a liking to. If that happens to be two characters from a book, she becomes very attached and she isn't afraid to cry if something bad happens.She's a big fangirl. ■ CreativeBranwen enjoys writing, so whenever she travels, she comes up with stories and stuff. She's really into the fine arts as well. ■ IntelligentShe does really well, in schooling terms, but she also can solve problems relatively quickly. Branwen also knows about a lot of different cultures, so that helps with the traveling. ■ AdventurousAlthough it might not seem like it, Branwen is very adventurous. She likes finding new things. Archaeology interests her, especially the tombs and pyramids. She'd really like to be someone who discovers something in one.

She quickly grew accustomed to the traveling and the homeschooling. She actually enjoys it most of the time. She doesn't really understand the feud going on between Selena and Charlize, but she finds it amusing, most of the time. Branwen fell in love with Egypt and its pyramids the first time she'd visited. But, there is a downside to her traveling. She is able to make friends fairly easily, but they move around so much, she's come to terms with the fact that her mum and Fen are the only permanent friends she'll have for a while. Especially in the world of magic.

While she does love her children, it would probably be impossible for them to state a single instance where it showed. She treats all relationships as if they were business relationships, politely but aloof. That said, she does attempt to be a good mother, just not a particularly affectionate one. ■ SHREWDRaised the daughter of a wealthy South African businessman, Charlize is exceptionally quick-witted and astute. and an excellent businesswoman. She knows how to haggle so that any deal ends with her on top. ■ FINICKYCharlize is exceptionally precise about the way she wants every situation handled, every object placed, every interaction to go. She wants things done her way, always, because her way is obviously the best. CHILDHOODCharlize was born in London, in her family's old estate. Her father owned a company in South Africa, and they lived there, but always spent the duration of her mother's pregnancies in England to ensure that the child would be eligible to attend Hogwarts as opposed to an African school, firmly believing in the superiority of British schooling. She grew up in South Africa, watching her father run his company. She was the middle child, having an older and a younger brother. As the second child and only girl, she had no prospects of ever having any power over the business or even owning a large enough portion to have any say in how it was run.
SCHOOL YEARS Charlize went away to Hogwarts each year, and found herself to be, for the most part, an average student. But, she had a knack for Wandless Magic, and for business, having grown up watching her father. She excelled in her Law and History lessons. While she was in school, her parents arranged a marriage between herself and one Gregory Darren Wynters. He courted her for the remainder of their school years, but it was obvious from the beginning that their relationship would be purely for business. Luckily, they found each other relatively attractive, so there was at least something other than their collective desire for money and power keeping them together. Both believed the marriage would be mutually beneficial.
POST GRADUATIONShortly after their graduation, Charlize and Gregory were wed, and she took control of half his assets, as per a private arrangement between the pair. His parents died less than a year later in a mysterious house fire, which Charlize always suspected her husband had set up. She never spoke her suspicions or complained, though, since both of them objected to her having anything to do with their family business. They had plenty of children, the first two being a set of male twins, followed many years later by a third son and then a daughter the following year. Marzaan, their only daughter, was conceived too soon after William's birth, and Charlize suffered horrible complications. She spent most of the pregnancy hating her husband, but when the child was a girl, she devoted herself to the child. Shortly after her birth, Gregory died of a heart attack and Charlize assumed full control of his estate. She has been running the Wynters family business ever since, and been sure to keep her place in the social hierarchy to ensure that her business flow remains constant.

He also isn't exactly comfortable around people he doesn't know, and usually is silent with people he has just met unless he has known them for a while. His tendency to clam up when around new people has made him painfully shy as a result. ■ RATIONALThinking and careful study of any situation before coming to a solution is what Seth prefers to do in a situation. CHILDHOODAs the oldest son of Gregory and Charlize Wynters, Seth grew up without having any issues. His father was distant, and his mother was rather, well, domineering. However, Seth always had his twin Alan to fall back on for friendship, and the two were close. Living in the lap of luxury, Seth never wanted for anything, and had no issues with anyone. When he was ten, his youngest brother William was born, and while Seth longed for the days he and Alan were the only children, he welcomed his baby brother.
SCHOOL YEARS When Seth was accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he was sorted into Ravenclaw, while Alan was sorted into Slytherin. It had been the first time that the twins had been separated, but only during the times they were at meals and in their dorms. Otherwise, the two were inseparable. Marzaan was born during this time, and Seth, while still unsure about the fact that he was now a big brother twice over (he never really considered the fact that he was also Alan's big brother since they were twins and thus it didn't count) he still accepted his sister. The summer before his second year, Seth and Alan's father passed away, leaving just Charlize to raise the children. It was also around this time that Seth discovered an attraction to both sexes, causing a bit of confusion in his young life. Third year, Seth and Alan decided to take a break from each other, mostly to try and become more individual. They met different people, which while it seemed to Seth to come naturally to Alan, it wasn't so much for him to deal with. Seth also found a love of crafting wands, attributing it to his professor in that class. Fifth year, Seth decided to endtheir separation with the claim that people were complicated, and he preferred the zen atmosphere he could find with his brother around. Seth had a few relationships while in school, none really lasting, as he tested the waters of his confusing preferences. During sixth year, a curse swept through the school, affecting the muggleborns. Seth investigated a bit, finding that there were rune circles drawn in several places in the school, but couldn't figure out their purpose or why they were placed. Seventh year was hectic, with Seth studying valiantly for NEWTs and trying to maintain good grades.
POST GRADUATIONSeth graduated from school and immediately started looking into an apprenticeship for wandmaking. He still lived at home, hoping to save up enough money to potentially get his own house. He got a shop in Diagon Alley, but decided ultimately to give it up and go work with his cousin, Damien.

■ OUTGOINGAlan is, simply put, an uncanny balance between an extrovert and an introvert, a love for trying new things and meeting new people instilled in the young blond. New things are an excitement and is always up for trying something at least once. ■ FRIENDLYAlan has never really been a snarky person, much preferring a laid-back, open demeanour when taking into account others. He adores people, loved talking to them and knowing about them and is always happy to accept another person into the fold of his social circle. Easygoing and relaxed, Alan had always been synonymous with the word 'friendly.' ■ PONDEROUSSurprisingly enough, Alan is a thinker. He spends a lot of time simply thinking, wondering what would happen if so and so happened and questioning a lot of what-ifs in life. His head is basically one big mess of thoughts and wonder and helps him to see the world in different lights from different perspectives. ■ CALMAlan is very difficult to anger. Nothing short of insulting his direct family or hitting him would cause a reaction and even then, it would be diplomatic and civilized. He is anything but a warfreak and actively avoids conflict whenever possible ■ CONSIDERATEHe is not a selfish person and considers people to be a bit before him in everything he does. Tending to others and lending a helping hand, a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on are only some of the ways he tries to cater to others as they need. ■ AFFECTIONATEAlan is a hugger, a very physical person and, coupled with his expressiveness, make for a lot of affection.

CHILDHOODAlan grew up well, leading a privileged childhood doted upon- - - in the form of material things- - - by his father along with his elder twin Seth. Having been favoured with being the first two children of the Wynters family male, Alan was given a very smooth path through his younger days, enjoying in the luxurious lifestyle and meeting their parent's requirements with ease. Despite the rather intimidating personalities of their parents, Alan had Seth, and that was enough for the young boy in his life, having his brother with him. At a relatively young age, he, along with his twin, were declared 'big brothers' to the new addition to the family. Possessing an innately affectionate disposition, Alan was more than positively receptive to William and doted on him as a big brother could.
SCHOOL YEARS
FIRST YEARAlan's first year was mostly a blur, having still stuck close to his elder brother during the whole time. Despite usual house non-interactions, the younger had paid them not much mind, not caring much for popular opinions. Almost never seen without the other, they were nigh inseparable at the time, one whole unit instead of two. Even so, it had to be noted that the only reason this had been tolerated by his house was simply due to his family name and the fact that Alan had been able to prove himself worthy of the house. In addition to being a large milestone in his life, yet another decided to make its mark during this year as well--- the birth of the youngest Wynters child, Marzaan, who Alan doted on equally as greatly as with all his siblings (though it was a little less received with this one.) SECOND YEARA similar repeat of first year, only with the younger Wynters deciding to focus more on his academics than anything else. Said boy was not very often seen outside the library, aside from classes or meals and would spend many hours of his spare time simply traversing through the library's shelves, deciding and thinking on a suitable career and electives the following year. Somewhat the defining factor for this turn of disposition towards the more introverted end of the spectrum was the death of the Wynters patriarch, who, while not very close to his children, was still a father and thus did not let Alan pass by the incident unaffected. THIRD YEARThird year had set the catalyst for a rapid change in the relationship between Alan and his brother Seth. Both taking a mutual decision to try and separate for a while to develop their own individualism, taking the time to actively interact with other people. While it did come easily to Alan, what with his open personality and all - around friendliness, the younger twin still much preferred his brother's company, though he did make the best of everything. It was to be expected, really--- they were twins, after all. FOURTH YEARFourth year had cultured in Alan his inner social butterfly, gaining many acquaintances and a boost in popularity among his own house and in small circles outside it. His general demeanour that he had obtained of friendly openness and the influence of the Wynters family name did much to kickstart this more extroverted personality in the blonde. He still maintained contact with his brother, though they had drifted apart even more due to their differing social circles. FIFTH YEARMarking the end of the forced sabbatical from each other, Alan and Seth snapped back to their old routine after a rather grueling time away from each other. Definitely much happier with the turn of events and infinitely more comfortable with the world now, Alan still continued seeing his friends, of course, but ultimately stuck to Seth's side once again. O.W.L.S during this year came easier due to his lighter presence of mind and the time breezed by without a hitch. SIXTH YEARAs the pre-N.E.W.T year, Alan was slightly more pressured during this time than past years. For the most part, it consisted of more of rowdiness and rebellion on his part in an attempt to drown out the stress. It was also around this time that a rather huge incident went around and a sleep curse struck the halls of Hogwarts, muggleborns falling prey to its magic. Playing the Hardy Boys and channeling Nancy Drew, the twins investigated around school for clues regarding this odd and worrying circumstance and stumbled on a few things along the way. SEVENTH YEARCome seventh year had Alan buckling down to focus on his studies, finalizing his preparations for many things. As graduation rolled around and his own satisfying scores came by mail, he then made true to his plans and proceeded on.
POST GRADUATIONOn a break from all the studying, Alan traipses around the Europe for the most part as his means of income. Holding a small section in a writing magazine, the younger Wynters twin still lives at home, spending his days with work and his nights out and rowdy in the streets of both Muggle and Wizarding London.
