Rain lightly fell through the tree tops landing on Fiore's back and the forest floor. The clouds covering the sky made the forest all the darker, but he preferred it that way. He felt at home under the dark canopies, amongst the shadows. He figured it was just in his blood, he was after all born of the shadows amongst the decaying graves and sprawling roses. But even amongst the shadows where he was home, he felt alone.....always alone since his mother left.
He cared for his father and sisters, they were family but his father like him weren't exactly emotional beings. He watched over his sisters as his mother asked but he knew they would be alright, but he was still the oldest so there was a sense of duty. More and more since his mother left though the woods have been his place, keeping to their shadows and watching his family from a distance. Unfortunately he couldn't hide amongst the shadows as well as his sisters, but he dwelled in them nonetheless.
The rain hit his head again and he looked to the sky, wondering if he would find true purpose or was he to drift like a nameless shadow through the world. He was still young though and just curious as to the world that laid beyond the graveyard and forest. He drifted through the trees again as the rain let up. He stopped as he came to a small opening in the trees, he had been a zombie not paying attention to where he was going and now he found himself somewhere he didn't know. He turned around but was unsure of which way to go next.
