TRIBE RUSH WEEK! Pre-Rush Event! Update: The deadline has been extended an extra 24 hours to Sunday at 7 PM CST. If the only information you're missing is certs/uncerts you can still enter and be considered, provided you add that information as soon as possible. Anyone can edit their entries up until closing. If anyone who's already entered feels this is unfair, please please let me know so we can try and find a way to accommodate everyone. The month of April is going to be full of games and surprises for tribes and their members! There will be more information about those events in the coming days, but before we begin drumming up activity in tribes, we'd like to offer test tribes a chance to join in on the fun.
Here's how things will happen:
There will be a Manager's Choice event from now until 7 PM CST on Saturday. This is a chance for people with test tribe concepts to get accepted much more quickly than the traditional path! There will be at least two entries accepted to become official tribes. At least one of these official tribes will come from test tribes that are already posted and open. However, we'll also be opening the event up to concepts that have yet to be posted! Given the short amount of time, the typical RP requirement won't be included. Instead, you just have to give proof of an Elder and five members. These foxes must already exist. Test tribes that already are established can go off of their current members list. Those entering the open concept contest simply need verification from the foxes' owners that they will join the tribe once it exists. You can enter as many open concept entries as you want. Open concept entries don't need to post a thread until after they've been accepted to become an official tribe.
I'll be letting everyone know by Sunday evening whether or not their tribe has been accepted. From there, you can submit your information for the Elder to be put on the new lines and for tribe mods to be done. You won't need the official Elder lines or mods to be done in order to participate in the rush week events. You will, however, need to have a tribe thread posted within 48 hours after being accepted if one doesn't already exist. It does not have to have your complete information, we just need proof that you really do intend to establish the tribe.
There is no entrance fee for the event. All judging will be done by me, and you can direct any questions to me!Test tribes that already exist [size=20][color=magenta]Hey, we're already here![/color][/size] [size=11][b]Name of the tribe:[/b] Info here. Hey, we're already here! Name of the tribe: The Luminarium Tribe Tribe's owner: Yushika Name of potential Elder: Libitana LINK to the potential Elder's cert AND uncert: Cert | Uncert LINK to a good reference of the tribe's modification: Modification Premise and beliefs of the tribe: The Luminarium Tribe is known for being a strange and elusive group of foxes. Living deep in a swamp covered with fog that is impossible to see through by an outsider, the sound of singing can usually be heard at night coming from the village they've claimed.
The tribe is known for being a guiding light to the lost. Their purpose is to help the broken pick themselves back up and discover themselves. Those who have lost their being will find no problem walking into the fog and stumbling upon the village. Outsiders who do not need guidance will only return to the entrance to the swamp when they step into the fog, turned around by the 'Deity of the tribe. The tribe does not ask for payment for their therapy.
Based around therapy, the tribe focuses on the mental wounds and scars that need mending. Those who are depressed, suicidal, confused about themselves or life itself, or generally lost are brought to the tribe for therapy. The patient will be assigned a fox who is specialized in their issue and the patient is given a therapy session. They stay within the village for as long as they wish, or can leave and return for more sessions. When the fox is cured of their issue they are given a celebratory feast and when they leave the tribe they can never return, unless the Elder has requested them to join the tribes ranks.
Those who have a natural gift of discovering the pain of others and soothing them can also find themselves easily directed to the village and given a home. Those who wish ill-will upon the tribe, a patient, or have no place being there can never reach the village, no matter how much they ever wish to. Foxes who have betrayed the tribe are banished and can never return. While members of the tribe can leave the village and return back to it at any time, if a fox is banished or a fox chooses to permanently remove themselves from the tribe they can never return. Protected by their 'Deity who cast the fog in the first place, the tribe cannot be discovered by unwelcoming eyes.
While the tribe lives within a dark swamp, they are a lively bunch. Lanterns have been strung up in the trees around the village, discovered back when the village was found. Kept lit at all times, light dances across the village. Fireflies collect around the water under the village, which is suspended above the ground. Songs can be heard being played during night as dinner is served and the tribe gathers together, merrily singing and dancing. They even have a slight mischievous streak, playing pranks on one another time to time and even leaving the swamp to play with outsiders. However, one thing is certain; they take their job extremely seriously. Others mental health matters to them, and if an outsider or even a tribe-member needs therapy or assistance they'll always lend a hand.
The Elder, however, is very protective of the tribe and her members. Her word is absolute, and the tribe knows she is not afraid to put her foot down and enforce the rules. Inner-violence is never tolerated and the Elder will show no mercy, stripping away the offenders powers and tossing them out of the tribe for the good. Meant to be a safe-zone, the Elder keeps an ear out and always seems to know just a little about everything happening in the tribe, ready to step in if need be.
An official tribe-member should always carry their personal lantern with them, which reflects they belong to the tribe. All lanterns that belong to a fox stay permanently lit due to the 'Deity. The lanterns make it possible to navigate through the swamp completely safely. Members are expected to always keep their lanterns, often sent back home if the Elder catches them without their lantern.
Kits are never permitted to leave the village. Ever. The fog is far too dangerous for a child who doesn't carry a lantern, as children are not given their own lanterns until they are adults and have roles. However, they can play in the village. Given small chores such as keeping the village clean and lighting the lanterns they can reach, children are mostly allowed to just play and be kids. At a young age they are eyed and the adults (usually the Carers) judge what they are best at giving therapy for. Those without any special skill will become members instead. Foxes are never kicked out unless they've harmed the tribe, even if they do not inherently possess a skill.
The tribe treats one another as a huge family. They eat dinners together as a group. Children are taken care of by all. They're extremely supportive of one another and willing to lend a hand no matter what. Being very affectionate and a tightly knit group only causes more concern for the Elder, who must keep an eye out to n** any problems in the bud to preserve the friendly atmosphere.
Basically, the tribe is focused around providing therapy and stability to those who need it. Hidden from those not meant to approach their lands, they are a lively and friendly bunch who are ruled by a protective and strong Elder.
Modeities of the tribe and their domains (keep this to a reasonable level): Hyperion (Guidance) What makes this tribe different than the others, both official tribes and other test tribes: They're based around healing the mental scars others have, or just helping people discover themselves. They are the ones you turn to when your life has crumbled and you need the light to pull you through. You can ONLY reach their tribe if you need guidance or are chosen to be one who can provide it, due to the fog sending those back who do not need the tribe. There's also the fact that instead of tattoos or modifications, their tribe item is a lantern that hangs from their body. Hey, we're already here! Name of the tribe: Caledonia Tribe's owner: Izumi tenshi Name of potential Elder: Altair LINK to the potential Elder's cert AND uncert: Cert | Uncert LINK to a good reference of the tribe's modification: Modification Premise and beliefs of the tribe: Ben vidos irmáns: Welcome Brothers The Caledonia Tribe is highly spiritual, and deeply connected to their Deity, only referred to as ‘The Maker’. All foxes are taught to view the world in three distinct and separate levels: the physical, the spiritual, and the symbolic. All intertwined and fundamental, it is through these levels that one can truly understand existence and it’s cyclic nature. Everything is inner connected, nothing is separate.
In the tribe families are not of the conventional sense. There is not just parent and kit. A kit growing up in the tribe will have many mothers and fathers as the entire tribe is a one giant tight knit family. There are times where one kit will be raised by four or five different adults, maybe not even by their biological parent. Everyone member is deeply connected to one another, not just spiritually but mentally and physically. Having gone through basic training (history, light combat training, defensive tactics) together a bond of brotherhood forms that is impenetrable.
Most, though not all, members join one of the Orders as a kit. It is harder but not impossible for an adult to enter into an Order. As kits, they are schooled on the teachings of the specific order. Class begins at dawn and does not finish until dusk. Kits are expected to behave and listen to their instructor without complaint or a discipline with be issued. Though of course the instructors realize they are only children and allot time for play and relaxation. The time for play lessens over time however, as the kit matures.
Each fox, upon reaching the age of adulthood, goes through an event called ‘The Trials’. This is their final test before officially becoming a member of an Order. They must face off against the head of The Order in whatever kind of test that fox dictates, and it does vary occasionally.
BCRs are never accepted into an order, they are to be at home with their parents until they become kits.
Any adult that wants to join an Order will be tested by the Head, and then it is left up for them to decide. Though any fox can appeal to the Seer if they are turned down. Modeities of the tribe and their domains (keep this to a reasonable level): The Maker (Knowledge), Modeity (Domain), etc. What makes this tribe different than the others, both official tribes and other test tribes: The religions of the Caledonia Tribe understood that there is a direct continuity between the physical world and the otherworld, spiritual world. Caledonia teachings, which have come down from ‘The Maker, himself, recognized that there is an unseen world that interpenetrates and affects the visible world. Things are just not what they seem. Everything exists on several simultaneous levels. Modifoxes can understand things as having three levels: the physical, the spiritual, and the symbolic. Thus, the Caledonian culture is integrated with nature, and expressed itself through the multiple possibilities of life itself. ‘The Maker’ is the creator of all life on earth, both mother and father to modifoxes. He is benevolent and generous to all his children, and have bestowed the gift of his ‘word’ to the Caledonians. As such this is easy for any fox to remember if they remember this primary guideline:"Nothing is true, everything is permitted."~ This means that nothing anyone says about how we should be or should act is true, and that everything we could ever think of doing within the realm of actual possibility is permitted to happen. There are also three tenets that the maker has set forth for the Brotherhood no member should brake: Do not harm any fox with out cause~ Caledonia is a tribe of pice. Harming a fox with out cause goes against the Brotherhood Always be discreet~ Be unseen. If you must go out Let the forest mask you such that you become one with nature Never compromise the Brotherhood~ The actions of one must never bring harm to all. Kurai's been sitting in the approval thread since 2012, so 'Rea told me to post it here as well!Hey, we're already here! Name of the tribe: The Kurai Clan Tribe's owner: Shi Berry Name of potential Elder: Koumori LINK to the potential Elder's cert AND uncert: Cert | Uncert LINK to a good reference of the tribe's modification: Modification — Fifth one on the far right. Premise and beliefs of the tribe:
This tribe has a strong affiliation with darkness/shadows. The foxes of this tribe owe their lives to darkness, for darkness is a place to hide, a place to escape, a place to be accepted. Darkness does not discriminate; it will accept all who come to it. It does not illuminate your flaws, shine over you to reveal all that you are, all that you would rather conceal. It does not care. It allows you to maintain your secrecy, and hide in its depths. When the foxes came to darkness, darkness hid them from their enemies. Darkness did not retreat away from them; it embraced them.
All except those of light.
They welcome all who wish to find solace in shadows. As long as a fox cares for the tribe and will do the duties he or she is assigned, Kurai is accepting of them. The foxes are those who have either been turned away from the world of light, or those who would rather avoid light and come play in the dark.
Foxes here tend to be nocturnal, but diurnal foxes are not uncommon or strange here. The tribe land includes a thick wood enclosing a crag of black rock, a lake, and a clearing. At the base of one side of the crag, there is a lake with a seemingly perpetual fog hanging over it. On the other side of the crag, there is a clearing. In the center of the clearing, there is an enormous oak tree. The tribe itself has no affiliation to trees or nature, however, this tree is said to be the tree where their patron 'Deity first touched the earth.
Their patron 'Deity is the 'Deity of Darkness/Shadows, Kurai. He is the manipulator of shadows, he who created the darkness in which the foxes of this tribe found refuge. He is the one who accepted them, despite themselves. They pray to him, thanking him for his acceptance, and, in return for their loyalty, he continues to provide darkness.
Kurai is not a violent tribe by any means. They are a very reclusive tribe, and prefer to keep to themselves. They are not aggressive towards outsiders, but are not very welcoming at all.
The tribe does not have a detestation of light. They understand that light is going to be around no matter what they try. They simply have an aversion to light. Modeities of the tribe and their domains (keep this to a reasonable level): Kurai (Darkness/Shadows) What makes this tribe different than the others, both official tribes and other test tribes:
This tribe is a tribe for those who wish to find unconditional acceptance.
Now, that is what most tribes do. However, here in Kurai, even those with the most sinister of pasts, those who are ostracized and persecuted for whatever the reason can find a place to call home. The foxes do not need to run any more. Darkness welcomes all. Hey, we're already here! Name of the tribe: The Orestes Tribe Tribe's owner: demon~hybrid Name of potential Elder: Daedalus LINK to the potential Elder's cert AND uncert: Cert | Uncert LINK to a good reference of the tribe's modification: Modification Premise and beliefs of the tribe: The Orestes Tribe focuses on knowledge. They are devoted scholars of a wide variety of topics, from hunting techniques to geography to humans. Not only does each member strive to expand his or her own mind, but everyone in the Orestes tribe is very passionate about spreading their knowledge as well. Each fox in the tribe is both a student and a teacher, as knowledge is infinite.
The tribe also serves as a school to outsiders. Any fox wishing to learn something, whether they wish to become a member of Orestes or not, is welcome to live with the tribe for a few months to study. Meanwhile, certain tribe members, those with the rank of Scholar, are free to leave the tribe for extended periods of time in order to study something off the tribelands.
The tribe lives around Mt. Ilithyia, a large mountain with an extensive and diverse system of caverns and tunnels. Though the darkness of the caves are difficult to grow accustomed to, the tribe has found many ways to illuminate their paths or navigate despite the dark. Modeities of the tribe and their domains (keep this to a reasonable level): Enki (Illumination). What makes this tribe different than the others, both official tribes and other test tribes: This tribe is so far the only one that focuses on learning and teaching. The rank of "Scholar" has been added, as well as the "Teacher" form of each other rank. Orestes' openness to non-members is also rather unique to the tribe. Hey, we're already here! Name of the tribe: Shinku Chikai Tribe's owner: Renogoran Name of potential Elder: Hiyoko LINK to the potential Elder's cert AND uncert: Cert | Uncert LINK to a good reference of the tribe's modification: Tattoo Jewelry Premise and beliefs of the tribe: The Shinku Chikai believe heavily in the concept of Karma, and believe that ones retribution for the sins they commit comes during life, not after death. A belief that parents instill by telling children that Tamamo-no-mae will eat all those who have evil spirits. The Shinku Believe that The phenomena of the red moon is a sign of Tama releases the souls she has stored up since the last occurrence. It is at this time the tribes people pray for their relatives safe travel to their new life. and is usually met with a festival led by The elder and those He/she has deemed capable of leading the festivities. (Usually the next in line, or those who have devoted themselves to learning the history and beliefs of the tribe. The Shinku try to gain Tama's favor by taking an oath upon reaching adulthood, or joining the tribe to protect the ones they care for, and helping those who are in need. By reciting the crimson mantra (found in the religion post of the tribe thread), followed by imprinting their paw-print on a rock in the center of the tribe. From here they are officially under Tama's watch and protection. The tribe has mostly been peaceful, over the last few generations, however combat is part of the practices for Kits, mainly as a form of self defense, and in case the tribe is threatened by others, or if its needed to help a fox that is in danger. Modeities of the tribe and their domains (keep this to a reasonable level): Tamamo-no-mae (Karma) What makes this tribe different than the others, both official tribes and other test tribes:This tribe is based on the belief of Actions against others, will cause bad luck, and the only way to avoid this is to make it up to the one you wronged tenfold(steal a Rabbit from a fox catch them a deer) This tribes Eldership is usually passed by generation with the last elder naming a successor of their choosing,(which is usually a family member) this decision is determined by the elder themselves without divine consultation. Additionally the tribes Traditions are often adhered to, However its not rare for the Elder of one generation to toss the traditions of another out the window.

Name of the tribe: Eventide Tribe's owner: Reoakee Name of potential Elder: Ion Fortuna LINK to the potential Elder's cert AND uncert: Cert | Uncert LINK to a good reference of the tribe's modification: Modification Premise and beliefs of the tribe: There are those who cannot stand the sun’s light directly. There are those who can tolerate it but in truth are creatures of the night. The moon may be beautiful but moonless nights are far more beautiful still to them. This tribe is home to those who feel the soft embrace of night and shadows like a kiss.
The tribe more nocturnal in nature than other tribes which does make them a bit strange to most. They do worship the night after all. Still a cursory day watch is around to welcome visitors. Which might well be the best time to visit if there is any hint of fear about things that go bump in the night. While the tribe does not condone senseless violence it does understand the need to survive and a few of the members are of a vampiric nature. Those who have senseless violent pasts may be tolerated but they will be watched until it is certain they will not lash out at the tribe. This is not a tribe for the dark shadowed of heart.
The tribe has two shamans to handle issues one deals with those who live in the sun and daylight since there are tasks like hunting that are easier in the light as well as a few smaller things. Such as taking care of those who haven’t adjusted to darkness of night. At twilight the foxes met the night shaman who is in charge of the evening duties. The elder can be up at all hours day or night, though he is restricted to the cave during the day.
Kits in the tribe are taught to be self sufficient at a young age but encouraged to be in sight of a guardian or carer at all times. Those who decide to wander off find themselves under guarded watch and unable to obtain any special gifts if extra treats are found or made. Because of this strict but fair policy the kits tend to grow up happy and well rounded if a bit stubborn.
The tribal land is a mix of forest and caves. The land itself is rather flat and there are stretches that resemble more plains than anything else. Game is plentiful so far though the cave systems are not well explored yet as such there are limited places to go until such time as they have been fully cleaned out. Modeities of the tribe and their domains (keep this to a reasonable level): Nacht (Night) What makes this tribe different than the others, both official tribes and other test tribes: The foxes of this tribe did not choose their lives but were born into it. Others may join them of course, but these are children of the night. Fox example the elder himself can never be in sunlight do to his vampire nature.
The night provides them safety and sanctuary which is why the worship it. Other parts of the night like the moon and stars don’t really play a role for the tribe beyond a prayer calendar for the elder. This is not a tribe for shadows because those can exist in the day just fine. The night has a limited span and yet it is everything for these foxes. Hey, we're already here! Name of the tribe: Kisetsu Tribe's owner: lisais-fire619 Name of potential Elder: Ava LINK to the potential Elder's cert AND uncert: Cert | Uncert LINK to a good reference of the tribe's modification: Modification Premise and beliefs of the tribe: Growth and change permeate life. Those of the Kisetsu tribe understand and celebrate this. To them the seasons help show the stages of life. These stages aren’t simply cut and dry like kit, to child to adult. Rather these stages can be emotional as well, such as learning to deal with the loss of a loved one, or a mother learning to handle motherhood with its many responsibilities.. They are all about change and greet each change head on good or bad. They understand that time is key to any change. Second chances are given but thirds are not. The tribe believe change is possible but if the second chance is give and it is the same as the first result it a third chance will not be given because in some cases of change there has to be the will of change. Modeities of the tribe and their domains (keep this to a reasonable level): Alnair (Change), What makes this tribe different than the others, both official tribes and other test tribes: The focus is all about the change. Foxes going through hard changes are most welcome to the tribe. Any change for any reason is welcome and so is any type of fox. No one is turned away as long as the members of the tribe aren't being hurt. Violence or death toward or from a member isn't tolerated. The Tribe is family and family is to be protected no matter what. Hey, we're already here!Name of the tribe: Eiru Tribe Tribe's owner: Katsura Zanshin Name of potential Elder: Lucifer LINK to the potential Elder's cert AND uncert: Cert | Uncert LINK to a good reference of the tribe's modification: Modification, Tattoo Premise and beliefs of the tribe: Eiru believes that there is life energy in everything. When something is loved and cherished, a sort of soul forms in the object and when that need and love dies so does the 'soul'. This is from their belief that the world is in fact made up of two different realms. The world in which we live in and the next world, a world of souls and spirits, with only a small veil to separate the two.
Due to these beliefs, those in Eiru are extremely respectful of ancestors who have passed on and anything that may have held a soul. It is custom to occasionally leave offerings at gravesites or at the shrines on tribal lands.
Eiru also believes that, on certain times of the year, the veil rips or disappears allowing souls and other spirits cross over into our world. Most of the time the rift isn't great and they hold a festival to appease the lost souls that might try to get through.
However, during Halloween, the veil disappears almost completely. During the day the tribe throw a massive feast as a way of honoring those that have come before them and the spirits already here and living in Nature. At night they believe angry ghosts will prowl for unsuspecting victims and they dress up and perform tricks in order to scare away and confuse the ghosts. This is to keep the ghosts from trying to gain a new body to live in this world. Modeities of the tribe and their domains (keep this to a reasonable level): Alaunus(God of spiritual barriers and veils) What makes this tribe different than the others, both official tribes and other test tribes: The Eiru tribe are a mostly polite group of foxes that will stick up for each other. They also have a love for pranks and tricks, though, so they're polite, but fun loving and tricky. The Eiru often believes in the more mystical aspects of the Modifox universe, whether its different branches of magic, jinxes, or even dark energy that sometimes seeps into the Modifox world. The Eiru tribe understand these forces can sometimes change and and cause certain foxes to become outcasts, and they want to accept anyone with different afflictions that might not make them fit into normal society.
However the Eiru aren’t all about being serious and understanding the more interesting parts of the universe. They also love to discover different ways to trick others, different types of food, and what elaborate schemes they can come up with. There is a natural drive to understand their different fields to show exactly how skilled they are. Hey, we're already here! Name of the tribe: The Harami Order Tribe's owner: Shi Berry Name of potential Elder: Avaritia Link to the potential Elder's cert and uncert: Cert | Uncert Link to a good reference of the tribe's modification: Modification Premise and beliefs of the tribe:
While the foxes of this tribe have been labelled as thieves, they prefer to consider themselves a group of pragmatists. In order to provide for a tribe, stealing resources from others is significantly easier than hunting, gathering, or otherwise earning their own resources. They steal whatever they consider valuable: food, medicine, jewels, metals, anything that could prove itself useful or bring them wealth. These stolen goods are utilized, bartered (and often stolen back...), or stored in what is known as the hoard. The sheer amount of valuables [food and herbs, mostly, as jewels and precious metals are more decorative than useful] in the hoard brings great wealth to the tribe, and along with wealth comes power and respect.
The hoard is the tribe's greatest asset. Its location is kept secret; the only foxes who know where the hoard is are those foxes who have the fullest extent of the tribe's trust. It is also well guarded by the tribe's Guardians. All food, herbs, modifications, jewelry, and other goods deemed valuable are a part of the hoard. If a member of the tribe has contributed to the hoard, he is permitted to take objects of similar value from it. Usually, when a fox supplies food, herbs, or other essentials to the horde, he does not remove any such essentials for his own use. However, if he bring jewels or precious metals, he is more than happy to take items of similar value to adorn himself. Jewels, metals, and the like - while not the most practical items nor the most valuable - are the hardest items to steal, so the more modified the member, the better a thief he is, and the better the thief, the more respect he has within the tribe.
Members of the Order stick to themselves, as thick as thieves if you will. The concerns of outsiders are a hindrance and not worth the Order's time nor effort. It is also very risky, for the hoard must be guarded and outsiders are not to know of its existence. The tribe is very wary of outsiders. This is a matter of which most members of the tribe are in full agreement. The only time this issue arises is when members wish to take mates outside the Order. It is not a frequent occurrence, for those who know of the Order's reputation are very cautious of the tribe, as the tribe is not on good terms with most, if not all, the tribes. Due to this divide, members of the Order are not permitted take mates from other tribes. Not only do other tribes resent the Order, the other tribes cannot be trusted by the Order. Tribeless foxes are a different, more lenient matter. If the Vagabond believes the mate in question can be trusted, the member of the Order will be permitted to take that tribeless fox as a mate. However, the mate is not allowed on tribe grounds without an escort (a trusted member of the tribe). Usually, the outsider's mate will serve as an escort, but if not, another trusted member must be with the mate at all times. The mate is not allowed near the hoard, and may never even be slightly aware of its existence. If the mate becomes aware of the hoard, the punishment is severe. It takes a lot to earn the tribe's trust, and it would be very unwise to betray it.
The tribe is situated in a coastal desert, namely a canyon close to the turquoise waters of a bay to the east. A freshwater river feeding into the ocean runs through this canyon. Modeities of the tribe and their domains (keep this to a reasonable level): Dismas (Thieves) What makes this tribe different than the others, both official tribes and other test tribes:
The Order is a band of thieves, living comfortably at the expense of others. A member's modifications indicate how adept a thief he is. They also keep a hoard of valuables.
Tribe ranks also differ from others, for in addition to the normal jobs [hunters hunt, shamans heal], they have jobs as thieves as well, depending on what position the member is. Following is the list of positions: The Vagabond [Elder]: The head of The Order and master of the art of thievery. She can pray to the Modeity and makes the final decisions for The Order. She commands respect due to her abilities, though she is very friendly. The Marauder [Beta]: The Second-In-Command of The Order and also an adept thief. She is always referred to by The Vagabond for her input and watches over The Order to make sure everyone stays in line, for a tribe of thieves can get to be quite chaotic. The Swindlers [Shamans]: These foxes have a way with words and a deft set of paws when it comes to retrieving riches. They have mastered the art of cheating other foxes out of their possessions, and sometimes even their kills. Along with this, they also have their duties as a typical Shaman, which include tending to the sick and injured. They also have the ability to read astrological signs. The Bandits [Hunters]: These are the muscle of The Order. They are the most violent of The Order members, usually threatening other foxes if they do not hand over their treasures. They are also the ones sent in for a raid to ransack tribes, though usually they are found roaming about the lands hunting food for The Order. The Seekers [Gatherers]: These are the detecters of The Order. They are skilled for finding riches for the tribe to steal and have mastered the art of gathering information, reconnaissance operatives, if you will. They also gather herbs with the Swindlers and gather the kills with the Bandits, as well as gathering fruits and vegetables for food. The Deceivers [Scouts]: These members of The Order are essential to The Order's secrecy. They patrol the territories borders, and if any foreign paw sets food on the land, they use their silver tongues to dissuade the passerby to continue on their advance on The Order's territory. They can also alert the Hunters when the herds of large animals come in. The Teachers [Carers]: They take care of the precious kits who are the future of the tribe. They are responsible for them unless the kits are in a training session for a job. They also take the blame if the kits are lost, though the punishment isn't severe unless they kits are never found or found dead. When the kit comes of age, they teach the kit's future job, as well as educate the kit about The Order. They also teach incoming members of The Order.
The Order does not keep Tribe Members. To them, the rank is useless. If a fox is the rank of a Tribe Member, then he is simply a student training to attain one of the aforementioned ranks.
There is also the fact that entrance to the tribe is only gained with either Avaritia or Nefertiti's approval. A short RP with either of the two is required before a fox's membership to the tribe is granted. The RP is only to make sure the fox would fit in the tribe; that he is not a snitch, he does not have questionable loyalties, he is not hostile or unwilling to work with others, et cetera. Loyalty to the tribe is of utmost importance.
