Personality

Mecho Amachi is, in short, a nomadic trader: He looks for things that are useful to or desired by Soq and Native alike, collects them, and then trades them for luxuries, attention, and supplies -- of which he will then give out to those less fortunate. And while he could trade song for luxuries and garner attention for his sweetly ringing dances, he feels music should only be used for the joy of it, and to help cheer (and in his feelings, heal) those who are wounded.

He's a very giving, gentle personality, despite how greedy he may appear to be. For those that need something he has collected, he will give it to them. His earned supplies go to feeding and caring for Orphaned, sick, and elderly that cannot fully care for themselves. And if the choice is between his own wants and desires and helping those in need, those in need will usually take precedence over trinkets and cooked grain.

However, he feels if he cannot be happy and healthy himself, he cannot truly help others, so will not endanger himself except in the most dire of emergencies or unusual circumstances: In famine, he will make sure he has eaten before feeding others (Except for, perhaps, the truly young and helpless.)

-Did you know?: When naming Mecho, It was Originally supposed to be a Faux-Japanese name, with Mecho being the Surname and Amachi being his first name. (though he has an Italian Middle name: Ilario)

Thus, when anglicized, his name would have been "Amachi Mecho", which could be read as "amaChi Mecho/ am a Chimecho"!! If you included his middle initial in the beginning, as some forms are filled out, it would have been "I am a Chimecho"..

However, once his desert nomad culture formed, Mecho became his first name, with Amachi as a the surname.

- The Amachi clan Mecho Originates from is just a small family base clan in a Large herd called the Badieh Badawie.

Personality

Born to Melody Forte and Mecho Amachi, Mezzo was one of six kids born to their mother, more prematurely than usual even for soquili. Having not collected enough baskets, their family having only had three and a spare, they were forced to put the young foals into the baskets, and Mezzo was placed in the same basket as his younger brother Opus before the enchantment could seal him in for the remaining months of their development.

However this potentially rocky start didn't put a damper on the young Mezzo's cheerful, upbeat, and quick mind. He was active, curious, and always on the move, and when he went off to earn his second bell during his second year he earned it by starting off with a single shiny stone and trading his way up until he returned home with a long spool of striped fabric tangled around his head and body, proving that, even though he had the advantage of a smaller size and an adorable lisp at the time, that he had the skills to become a trader like his father.

He took to the training with gusto, enjoying the fact it let him wander and explore the world and provide for his herd as he grew out of his lisp and became a handsome young stallion.

Mezzo is an energetic and charismatic young man, and a great trader, but has the habit of getting distracted by the 'fairer gender', getting used to the new feelings that came as he matured into adult hood.
