A bright, spring day for enjoying picnics, egg hunts, wearing pretty hats and consuming lots of chocolate. Blankets are laid out in a wooded clearing displaying mounds of cupcakes and cookies decorated with bright cheery colors. Winikos mingle while the Easter Meiko passes out beribboned baskets, Easter eggs and chocolate treats.

The whole ordeal screamed Easter and the smell of chocolate in the air was sickeningly sweet. Mordecai missed traditions like this. The little ones were bounds to enjoy it and parents can worry their heads off as the little ones eat way too much chocolate that's healthy for them. But who could blame them, the sweet, creamy confection was so irresistible. Mordecai had caught himself just arriving and already peeling away the delicate foil on a chocolate egg.
Mordecai dipped his head in thanks to the rabbit Meiko who handed him an ornate basket. The inside lined with a plush checkered cloth and the outside decorated with a ribbon. He didn't plan to actively hunt for any eggs. He found joy in filling his stomach on sugary sweets and helping the little ones. If he found any, he might sneak them into other winikos' baskets who don't have any.

Lilliana stretched and walked out to where she caught the scent of food. And there was something sweet in that smell too. She knew it was chocolate and grinned as she walked out. She wondered what the others here would do. Lilliana loved getting to see the little ones having so much fun and running around playing. This warm nice day was perfect for something like this and she intended to enjoy all of it. She might even try to find an egg or two. If she found more than that she would share with others or just give them out to people. She didn't need them but it was still fun to search and find one of those brightly colored eggs. Always a little bubble of joy would form as she opened up an egg to see what was hidden with in it.
She saw the bunny meiko and walked up to it. She bowed her head and accepted the basket with the ribbons on it. The inside was plush and soft. She stroked her hand over it and grinned as the silky texture slipped along her skin. She looked at her son and nuzzled him pushing him out to go and play with others. She smiled over at the male who was already there.
Takuto looked up at his mother and frowned. He wasn't sure if he wanted to be here. So many people made him nervous and he didn't always react well when he was nervous. He looked around and played with the ribbons on his basket. He was being very careful not to shred the ribbons since they were so pretty. He took a slow deep breath and looked up again something smelled really good and he wanted to try it but he didn't know what it was that smelled that good.He looked around to see if he could find what the sweet rich smell was coming from but so far he couldn't.

Impetua looked about the field. Everything was very, very green. There were small... things (kids) running about, making noises. Imp sighed contentedly and nestled down in the thick grass she was curled up in. She was sitting under a tree, in the shade, on the edge of the field. Her green eyes reflected the green color everywhere. The Easter Meiko drifted past her, far too happy, and deposited a small basket filled with eggs in front of her. Imp raised a brow as the Meiko danced off, then pulled the basket closer with one claw. It was filled with sugary eggs. She rolled her eyes; far too much sweet for her. She looked around for somebody to pawn off her sugar onto.
Raik popped his head up from one of the longer clumps of grass. His face broke out in a large, sharp, toothy grin, and he disappeared back into the tall grass. There was a little one who looked like he needed some fun, and Raik was just the person demon to give it to him!
He silently stalked over towards the little blue-white-and-black Wini. When he got close enough, Raik pounced out of the tall grass with a yelp of excitement. Since the kid looked so freaked out, instead of pouncing on him, Raik stopped landed several feet away from him, landing in a crouch. He had his forelegs flush with the ground, his head just above his paws, and his butt up in the air (like a cat). He waggled his rump playfully, "Hey, kid, I'm Raik. You wanna play?"
((So it's clear, Raik did NOT pounce on Takuto; he saw that the kid was scared and unsure, so Raik pounced on a patch of grass in FRONT of Takuto. Raik then introduced himself.))
The orange mini trotted out into the field happy to get away from the chaos of city life to just relax and read his book. The male laid on a hillside inclineling his head to the Easter Maiden before flipping the book his tail had been holding open with one claw. He fixed his scarf with the other claw while focusing on his reading...
Uaithne blinked as the basket was placed before him. A head tilt then a warm nod the Meiko's only reaction before the male drew the basket towards him. He then went back to reading.

Takuto was looking around the field when he heard a rustle but he had no idea what it was. He figured it was just a rabbit or something else small. He looked around to see if he could find something to do but didn't see anything. As he looked around he felt like he was being watched but just figured he was being paranoid and imagining things. He spun around as he heard a sound and jumped when he saw the demon jump out of the tall grass and land in front of him. he heard the yelp of excitement and stared at the one in front of him. He saw the crouched position but it didn't look threatening so he didn't freak out. It looked kind of silly and playful so Takuto relaxed and smiled. He giggled at the wagging and smiled. "Hi Raik I'm Takuto and I'd love to play." He mimicked the position and wiggled too.
Raik broke into a large, toothy grin. If he hadn't looked so silly with his butt in the air, the expression may have seemed creepy. "Great! he crowed excitedly. "What'cha wanna do?"
Impetua looked up when she heard Raik call her name. stare She blinked slowly, her expression flat. She flicked one ear, raised a claw in a salute/gesture/wave, then turned her head away.

The nice warm day had been a perfect reason for Leilani to go out looking for some beautifull flowers, she was just telling her little companion a story in a small cosy field of bluebells when a sweet smell and the sound of fun distracted them both. "lets go see what that is, it sounds like fun" Leilani led the way and followed the sounds and smells to the clearing. Leilani was still looking around at all the wonderfully colourfull treats that were spread out before them, when the Easter Meiko presented her with an egg filled basket "Thank you so much" she said gratefully still a little mesmerised by the scene of fun and joy. She slowly ventured forward onto the field looking around at all the demons present. She came across a black demon sitting under a tree, and nodded in friendly greeting "Hello there, could you tell me what all this is?"
Looking at all the colours, and smelling all the treats Fawn was nearly bouncing up and down with excitement. as Leilani was looking around Fawn simply started to wander off, walking from blanket to blanket. there were so many colours, but where was the sweet scent comming from? it seemed to come from the colourfull shapes. not able to resist Fawn guzzeled a big number of eggs into her mouth when she passed a basket, and promptly started couching up colourfull wrappings. looking at the wrappings she suddenly understood the sweets were hidden INSIDE. she bubbled in laughter and started dragging a well filled basket towards Leilani when halfway there something caught her eye ..... a book!! She changed direction and expectantly sat across from the small organge demon reading the book. She looked at him hopefully "Book.... Fun!! ..... Tell Story?" she questioned carefully as she nudged a treat towards him to share

Impetua looked up at the blue Wini that greeted her. Though Imp was a little confused-- this Wini had to know what was going on; the Easter Meiko himself have her a basket! Still, not wanting to be rude or mean or anything, Imp answered, "Err, it's Easter. The demons are gathered to play, feed upon sugary confections, hide/find eggs, and pester the Easter Meiko." Imp itched her nose delicately with one claw-- stupid pollen-- and decided she ought to introduce herself as well, "I'm Impetua."

Corsaire skipped into the picnic area. She was excited to see more wini demons. Still feeling a bit like a new kid on the block, she was looking forward to making new friends.
Distracted by a stack of cupcakes, Corsaire looked at all the pretty colors, unable to choose just one. Picking up a pink frosted cupcake, she stuffed it in her maw, then grabbed a blue frosted cupcake. She had never been known for having lady-like behavior.
Uaithne looked at the infant that flopped in front of him. He blinked once looking around for her caretaker or parent. He blinked twice at the offered treat. And he blinked thrice as he sighed in defeat. He didn't know how to handle infants, but now was a good as time as any...
"If you really want to know. I was reading up on fariytails. Would you like to hear one?" he really wasn't, but...he knew a few.

Takuto smiled back at the grin that Raik gave him. The guy looked so silly and it helped to make Takuto feel better about all of this. he tilted his head and wiggled more. He wasn't sure what kind of game to play. Maybe tag? That was a fun game he just hoped his new friend thought it was a fun game too. "We could play tag if you like." He looked so eager and hopeful.
A smile crept onto Leilani's face "Easter? That sounds lika lot of fun. I don't think I have ever celebrated that before" She looked at the little basket full of treats. "It is nice to meet you Impetua, My name is Leilani." She sat down with the other demon and tried one of the sweets. "These taste really nice, how nice that this is all being shared with us"
Fawn clapped her paws happily at the little demons repy, how did he know that fairytales were her favorites? She Nodded heavily with a big smile when he asked her if she wanted to hear a fairytale "Yes Yes Pwease, Failytales ........ make happy" she scooted closer to the book trying to see if it had any drawings in it like her own storybooks "Story about Wini's?" she asked, her big eyes trained on Uaithne.
